A one-night stand turns into a perfect love match
Sheik Asif el Asnaf of Compour met the woman of his dreams at a conference last month. They didn’t share contact info mainly because Asif believed Princess Tessa al Bodari to be a shallow female who shopped and gossiped…and since they were in bed soon after they met she was also probably a "lose" woman. Their next meeting is at Tessa’s brother Sheik Gael’s wedding. Tessa is a little preoccupied though. She is sick and shocked because she believes she is pregnant…with Asif’s baby! Somehow he detects her distress and the reason. Then he makes a big scene demanding they marry RIGHT NOW! Asif is glad for an heir but wants to keep Tessa at arm’s length. He doesn’t even want to get to know her. Tessa is hurt but has a passion that fills her life while saving many lives so she buries herself in the rescue organization she and sister Oreylia created. This formidable Princess has a mission to save abused brutalized women and children. Tessa, her sister Oreylia, and many volunteers have saved hundreds of these poor people, most malnourished and uneducated. They have given them futures. All the while Asif thinks the worst of her. Boy is he in for a surprise!
Asif is experiencing much turmoil in his country. Someone is disparaging his reputation and trying to take over as ruler. And that someone is Asif’s Uncle Sedrick who stole the crown before Asif could claim it. Sedrick was finally ousted and imprisoned but recently has escaped. Sedrick is again causing mayhem and death all over the country and it looks like he has spies within the Palace. Asif and Tessa have ideas on how to trick the spies to find out who they are. Asif soon realizes he was very wrong about his wife. Tessa is an awesome woman beloved by his people. Asif finally understands what a prize his wife truly is. I love Tessa. Suspense and danger...
Points that cause additional stress to Tessa. It was bad enough that she got pregnant from a spontaneous passion with Sheik Asif. Well, it STARTED as spontaneous, then they spent the entire weekend together... Asif had been an obsession for years. She wasn't about to pass up that chance. Now she was pregnant. Her brother was going to go ballistic. She had to hide it as long as she could...
Did Asif HAVE to attend her brother's wedding? Could she manage to avoid the man tonight? Considering the merciless nausea, she wasn't sure she could stay unobtrusive.
Not only did she not avoid Asif, but he figured out her condition, and went straight to her brother. She found herself married within minutes.
Asif had thoroughly enjoyed Tessa but thought her inappropriate as a wife. Too flighty, a social butterfly out to enjoy whatever life had to offer. He wanted a partner in life. Now she was his wife, and pregnant. He wanted the child, needed an heir.
In the middle of internal issues in his country, he now had to deal with being married, an expectant father, and leader of a country dealing with insurgents...
Can Tessa and Asif manage to find a relationship, find the leader of those attacking, and keep both of them alive and safe? Challenging read...

This is the second book in The Al Bodari Family with Sheik Asf and Tezza. Sheik Asif has a brief but passionate encounter with Tezza, his friend's sister and Sheik from the neighboring country. Although the chemistry was evident, Asif did not seek to deepen a relationship with Tezza because he had the idea that it was frivolous and fake. I love books where the marriage is first and the couple have to figure it out after for a myriad of reasons. This one is a “What could go wrong when you mess around with your best friends sister?” She could end up pregnant, of course.
These two barely knew each other but had crazy chemistry and liquor to aid in their hot one night stand. As a result, they must now get married and with all of the misconceptions they’ve created of each other, the fireworks are plentiful. Of course, in the end, they find their HEA.
This was a good story..some parts were funny, some silly..but the story came together smoothly as all of Elizabeth’s books do. There are still some unanswered questions that will continue to unfold as the series continues.

After a single hot weekend spent together Sheik Asif el Asraf and Princess Tessa al Bodari go their separate ways with no spoken obligations to each other. Unforeseen pregnancies can change the best laid plans and a shotgun marriage was not in either of their plans for the future. A greedy uncle makes a prison break and tries to come between them while he makes arrangements to replace the Sheik. Love wins the day and an heir is born. A very sweet love story and yet one more winning book for the author.

This is a story about pregnant Princess Tessa from a lust feel weekend with Sheik Asif. They couldn't keep their hands off each other with the attraction being so strong. With a fast marriage and going to a new country, Tessa felt out of place and was hard to find a place where she fit. Asif felt that Tessa was a proper princess who just spent her time have tea parties and book reading with other ladies, but Tessa and her sister had setup an network with working with under privileges women and putting a stop to s**x trafficking. Another great story.

Another great read
This is the 2nd book in the series and it was very good. The h and H met at a conference, had a fling and she became pregnant. They had to marry but they didn’t really know each other. He thought she was flaky and had no ambition and she thought he was cold and arrogant. Both had secrets they kept from each other. Along the way they found their HEA. Great epilogue.

I liked the First chapter but after that it felt as if the side stories consisting of the hunt for the dangerous uncle and Tessa’s passion for woman’s rights ended up swallowing the love story. It felt like the main characters barely spent any time together. So less focus on the side stories and the problems they create and more focus directed on which problems could arise between the main characters in regard to their relationship.

Really love this series
Love, love, love this book! The story before was a great introduction to this one. All the characters were present at the ending of the first book. Everything blended so well into the next. The story line it was amazing. The princess wasn't some flighty girl and the prince had a real challenge to end. Elizabeth Lennox wrote a fabulous story, great plot with all the working parts. Love her books, Thanks for another great series!

Asif was all male and stubborn, one weekend he met his match with his best friend baby sister. The adventure began after that meeting. Punches were thrown and princess passing out on sofas. Marriage was preformed. Running from reporters. Congratulations all around.

Elizabeth Lennox is one of my favorite authors, her books are my go-to. They are short and most of them have my favorite trope. Arrange marriage, surprise baby, and mainly the lead male actors.
This book was really good, I finished it in one setting. Tessa and Asif had chemistry from the start and I loved the ride.
Elizabeth Lennox does not disappoint like all her previous books.

I enjoyed the 2nd in the series of the sheiks. This one is about the sister of the sheik from the first story. Enjoyed how she was strong and saved people even though she was pregnant. I’m happy that she and her sheik got their happily ever after.

The second book in the Al-Bodari Family Series did not fail to impress! A surprise pregnancy, misconceptions about someone, getting to know each other and fall in love -- another wonderful read by Elizabeth Lennox. A great book to curl up with!

An enjoyable second book in the series. I liked the story but Asif seemed to concentrate more on his hunt for his uncle rather than getting to know Tessa. I liked Tessa’s character and her secret project was really interesting. All in all it’s an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I received this book from the author. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
