This collection showcases some of the finest poems from the haikai world exclusively for your reading pleasure. With its unique juxtaposition and brevity, Haiku pilots the reader far beyond the image into a sacred realm. Triveni Haikai India brings the works of 76 poets from seven countries: Australia, England, India, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the USA, and the Philippines. A melange of diverse cultures, expressions, and styles, this volume will leave readers in awe. As Triveni Haikai India carves a prominent space on the World Haikai map, amber i pause is a harbinger of hope, reassurance, and beauty, which awaken an awareness of our environment. Witness the magic as words become wordless.
This anthology covers the best works of 76 haiku artists. After all, poetry is an art too. It's the expression of a community, the members of which are passionate about the form and its sister forms like tanka or senryu or monoku. For me, this book is like a family album. Lots of familiar names, familiar words, and familiar works. It's nostalgia in parts, and exploration in others. There's a smile on every page. If you would like to savour some haikai poetry, this is a good book. I would recommend it with 98.68% unbiasedness. The 76th poet is me, so I can't honestly claim zero bias! Whichever poet in this collection I meet, whenever that may happen, I plan to get their signature on their poem page!
