10 COPING TOOLS I USE WHEN I WAS FIGHTING WITH MY DEPRESSION

Rate this book
Writing this ebook was something new to me. Its short and informative, but not only that, its about my experience with fighting to save my life from depression. Mental illness is a struggle for many people and it doesn't seems to be going away anytime soon, Sharing my story in a summary or a long story, gives me a voice to speak out against something that comes with many disguises. I share my coping tools so that others can have some idea as how to find their own way of coping with this crippling medical condition. By sharing my story, I hope it will help others to also see that they are not alone in the fight against mental illness. From a victim to a victorious woman, today I'm also using my story to help others through art. It can be very scary when you feel alone, ashamed and afraid when suffering with mental illness. Not only that, but the stigma that surrounds this monster of a condition is also very real. You just have to fight hard enough to save your life. Easier said than done, but I'm a living testimony that its is possible to cope with mental illness when you open up about it and stop being afraid, ashamed and feeling all alone. its something I didn't know how to do but had to learn very fast how to do it for the sake of my children. Never lose hope.

Must read and must share

The author writes with a rawness that's very rare. Not polished or handwritten but straight from her experience into paper. Easy to read and understand. Helps you to realize that you are not alone and there is no shame in seeking help or using the D word out loud. Resources on Depression and mental illness are needed more than ever before because like the covid19, it is spreading as a side effect from the pandemic and we are losing more and more people to suicide because many are afraid to seek professional help.
