As it turns out, this was the book I needed to read to get the warm fuzzies. It's a high school romance...but the story's not really important. The rating for this one is almost entirely based on my love of the main character, Hirohisa. I love that he's tiny but not girly or wussy, and that he's serious about everything, and how he takes care of his family, and that he's so clueless about his feelings it takes him months to realize that he wants a cell phone (and yet he figures out he's in love before Yuu does), and I just want to hug him and squeeze him and love him to death. He's SO adorable. As for his love interest, Yuu...I'm not so enthusiastic. He falls into the category of characters I like because they love certain characters as much as I do. In fact, I actually didn't like Yuu in the beginning of the story...but I think he gets better in the second half of the book. His friends are still really annoying, though, man.
