Dragon Judgment

Rate this book
Every world has their own stories of Dragons. However, no one had ever actually seen one until the discovery of the planet Dirk. Through time and space of all the known worlds, there has been only one that has had Dragons. All other worlds talk about and wish they too had Dragons, because hearing of them always brings to mind tales of heroes and villains, Good and Evil, Wise and Curl. But in no other world were they to be found but Dirk. Dragons lived and evolved long before humans arrived on their plane. They were aware and had always known of the race of man. They lived their lives dedicated to the Laws of Dragons, constantly in search of Truth. They knew of good and evil and strived to maintain the perfect balance between them. They were successful for eons beyond counting. Then the humans came from the stars and set foot on their planet. Mankind brought fear and un-trust with them. The rulers of Dragon-kind, sensing the rift beginning to form in their ancient society because of these new emotions, told the humans that only a few of their kind were to be allowed to remain on Dirk until they had proven themselves worthy. Only five thousand of each sex would be allowed to remain. These would be monitored to prove that they could live together in peace. They would be Required to learn and abide by the Law of Dragons. After all, a young dragon must crawl before it can fly. The remainder of the humans were ordered to leave and not return to Dirk for 100 years. Dragons lived long lives, close to 1500 years and, if the man was to live alongside them; *Man Must Learn*.
