really good
I would totally have given this five stars, but there are too many holes, not filled about the technicalities of doing this work. Breaking the energy connection afterwards how do you do that? Your energy channels and your chakras are mentioned repeatedly and not when iota of information about how to take care of these things. That is critical information I would appreciate being taught rather than having to go out and look for some other teachings on it.

Good, yet not a lot of new information
I had high hopes at the start of this book. This would be a good book for a beginner animal communicator. I am not a beginner, yet, still struggle with confidence and was looking for something tangible. Dr. Cara is encouraging and positive. This book is well written and does provide a couple new anecdotes.

We have lots to tell ourselves...
Aren't they...we? Those that we believe are "out-there" are probably "in-there".... therefore, it may be simply "we" we are communicating with and the issues we have in miscommunication is really us not listening to us or talking to us

While this book contains some interesting anecdotes and recommend actions for self care it is not an animal communication how to. Check out Penelope Smith's stuff instead.

Loved this book! It gives practices to use and really lays out the path to communicate with animals!
