An amateur magician’s disappearing act lands her in medieval Scotland.

Although Isabel Murray loves a good joke, she can hardly believe the elaborate prank of finding herself in an ancient forge. But things get a little more real when its bad-tempered armorer hauls her in front of the rest of the MacRoss warriors.

Despite the entire clan being completely charmed by Isabel, Camdyn keeps her at arm’s length. Not only is he busy making weapons, but he’s sworn off women. Little by little though, the quirky lass works inside his defenses as the two try to learn what the Fire Sword has planned for her.

But the enchanted weapon isn’t the only one with a secret plan. The high-born daughter of a mortal ally will do anything to have Camdyn to herself, including enlisting the aid of their Carack enemies.

Hazel and her husband stopped being separate people years ago. They live their happy life in the always crowded, mostly sunny, and sometimes sweltering city of LA. Though they haven’t managed it yet, plans are afoot to add a kitty to the household, thereby giving the allergist fits.

Hazel has been writing full-time for several years, with some traditionally published work in other genres. But it’s her indie-published romance that fuels the creative fire. It turns out writing isn’t a job, it’s an obsession.

When you can pry Hazel’s fingers from the laptop, you’ll find her: on the elliptical watching a documentary, indulging her audiobook habit, or spending quality time with Candy Crush. Although she’s vegan, she’s a disaster in the kitchen. Luckily, potato chips and pinot noir come ready-made.

Camdyn
Immortal Highlander Clan MacRoss Book 3
A Scottish Time Travel Romance
Hazel Hunter
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Isabel Murray loves her job at an expensive auction house, but when an old medieval looking armoire comes in, she just can't resist checking it out. But when the door closes and locks her in she worries that she's going to suffocate. She has a premonition and sees her body laying dead on the bottom of the armoire. Next thing she knows she hears banging and starts calling out to whoever is there. The door opens and the most gorgeous man she's ever laid eyes on helps her out. She thinks he must be a reenactor because nobody looks that good, but she has a hard time believing Camdyn when he tells her that she really is in medieval Scotland.
But things get a little more believable when the ill-tempered armorer hauls her in front of the rest of the MacRoss warriors. Despite the fact that the entire clan is besotted with Isabel, Camdyn keeps her at arms length. You see Camdyn has sworn off women. Little by little Isabel works at chipping down his defences as the two of them try to learn what the fire sword has planned for her. But the fae enchanted sword isn’t the only one with a secret plan.
The high born daughter of a ally will do anything to have Camdyn to herself, and that includes enlisting the aid of their Carack enemies.

Oh my goodness what an incredibly fantastic story. Hazel Hunter knows exactly what her readers like and never disapoints. This book had me hook line and sinker. It was so good that I kept reading and ignored the rest of the world. If I could give you more then five stars I would Ms. Hunter. I can't wait for the next story as I'm sure it will be very good. If you like immortal Highlanders and the human women they fall for then look no further this is the book for you.

Another great installment in Hazel Hunter's newest immortal Highlander series. Our grumpy blacksmith, Camdyn, finally meets his match in Isabel. A little Fae wine is all they need to get their passion to combust. And combust it does! I really enjoyed this book. It was hot in all the right places and had a nice shift in regards to the antagonist. It wasn't the usual read and I love that HH can always keep us guessing at every turn. I can't wait to read the next book and I really hope that she writes a series on the Caracks!

I was given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CAMDYN" I love this IMMORTAL HIGHLANDER SERIES each story is so interesting, intriguing, filled with mystery, secrets, angst, suspense, action, steam, humor, twists that makes for a very addicting read from start to finish.
Isabel Murray works at Downes Auction House & ends up stuck in an ancient Scottish Armoire looking for secrets compartments she finds the Fire Sword which transports her to Scottish Highlands 14th Century in Dun Lasair the MacRoss Clan in the Forge where when the doors pulls open she falls onto Camdyn the Cheiftan's arms her shocked looked & she say well hello Tiger.
Camdyn thinks she shameless he's grumpy all the time & hates women but Luthias his Cheiftans tells him she's his responsibility because the Fire Sword brought her there for him & to save their clan plus by touching the Fire Sword he gained an ability he didn't have before which will end up saving Isabel.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing well written story with some very interesting characters one a woman who's a little off & thinks that Camdyn wants her but it's all in her mind.
Camdyn & Isabel start off rocky at first but after some Fae wine things really heat up, I absolutely love Isabel all her quirky nicknames she gives everyone is hilarious will love happen for these two you have to read to see what happens.
I'm so looking forward to "KENDRIC'S" story next
he was outcast from MacRoss Clan because of betraying his Clan he's back to clear his name I can't wait to read his story.

A simply wonderful book, great characters and wonderful scenario I enjoyed immensely
This was a wonderful read and I guarantee that like me once you begin reading this book you will find it simply impossible to put down until you reach the end and discover the final outcome.
The story of this wonderful book is that I do not want to spoil the read for others and therefor will not give away too much of the actual story itself in the review. I will say that the main female character was a wonderful individual and I found myself laughing out loud at some antics on more than one occasion.
When she shows her full and true colours, she has Camdyn in the palm of her hand but she still knows who the boss is and that he will only stand for so much attitude and for her habit of being outspoken, she has to know when enough is enough.
I loved the interaction between the male and female main characters and I am sure that you will feel the same as well, this was a wonderful and sexy Highlander read and this is something that Hazel Hunter excels at and I know that you will be like me and once you begin reading you will not put the book down until you reach the end.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Another wonderful read from the pen of Hazel Hunter (oops, I should say keyboard). One of the reasons I so enjoy Hazel Hunter’s books is that she mentions something and you wonder how does that fit into the story? But Hazel ALWAYS has a reason for including the details she adds. There is always a reason, and eventually it manifests itself. That keeps me engaged in the story. Well written as always.
It was comical the way Isabel arrived in the 14th century. She was locked in an armoire with the enchanted Fire sword. Her “savior” who rescues her from the armoire is Camdyn. This book could be summarized as a love triangle, with Ailsa and Isabel both after Camdyn’s affections. But, it’s far from your normal love triangle, as you will see. With Isabel and Camdyn’s personalities as they are, it makes you wonder just how they would work out when and if they become a couple. When Isabel arrived and Camdyn took the sword from her, the sword imbibed him with an ability which ends up saving his life later. But you gotta read the book to learn what that is and how it saves him.
You will be introduced to a few characters that have no bearing in THIS plot (Struan & Revna) (Kendric). Kendric is the name of the next book in the series and it would surprise me if at least one if not both Struan & Revna don’t show up somewhere down the line. As always, Hazel’s books are well worth the read.

Camdyn😍

Camdyn is the next book in the Clan MacRoss series and is a great read❣️ Camdyn is the smith for the Clan and over the years has repelled anything to do with women. Due to this he has garnered the attention of a mentally unstable woman who believes they are meant to be and has begged her Sire and the Laird to allow her to wed Camdyn.

When Isabel gets trapped in an antique chest at the auction house she works for, she fears she will suffocate right there and then….only to find it unlocked and jumping into the arms of the sexy man in front of her😉 Camdyn is resistant to Isabel but as she explores the castle secrets within are discovered and fate intervenes🙃

Loved this story and I’m excited to discover more about who Kendric is in the next one. I’m also hoping we learn more about the Carack Laird and his chambermaid🧐 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

Another great story by Ms Hunter. I can't get enough of the Immortal Highlander Series.
The story line is superb with great characters, suspense, twists and turns and of course the perfect amount of steam to keep you turning pages.
Isabel works for the Downes Auction House and when the new Scottish Armoire arrived she was so intrigued that she found herself locked in it with the fire sword. Of course, the one to open the door to save her was Camdyn. She didn't realize that she had traveled back in time.
Isabel is attracted to Camdyn but he is fighting it and keeping her at arms length. However, there is also another woman Alisa who is also vying for Camdyn's affection. She will not let Isabel have him so she solicited the help from MacRoss enemy, the Carack Clan.
What will happen?
Who will Camdyn choose?
I was gifted a free copy of this book and chose to voluntarily leave a review.

Fire and Passion

Isabel Murray and Camdyn MacRoss’ story was hot and steamy. From the moment Isabel jumped from the armoire their lives changed. Isabel was an administrator who worked at an antique shop in the 21st century and Camdyn was a blacksmith from the 14th century.

Isabel was stunned when she learned she was to save the MacRoss clan. She did not believe it but as time went on everything was put in place. Her and Camdyn went their separate ways but could not resist the magnetic and magical pull towards each other. To complicate matters a mortal, Ailsa MacAnvoy thought herself in love with Camdyn and went to great lengths to prove it. Ailsa was mad and vowed if she couldn’t have Camdyn than no one would have him. She plotted and schemed ways to prove her love which in the end resulted in death for her.

Isabel and Camdyn endured much but their love was strong and would last forever.

Looking forward to reading Book 4 in this series!

Isabel works at Downes Auction House. She loves antiques, and history. A large Scottish armoire is delivered to the store. Isabel gets locked inside searching for a hidden panel. She is transported back to Scotland, in the 14th century. She finds the Fire Sword in the armoire. Camden frees her from the armoire. He has a grumpy demeanor. He becomes her protector. Isabel learns about the Fire Sword, and her purpose. She is adamant that she will return to her time, when she saves the clan. There is an attraction between them. Camden has sworn off women. He does not want a mate. Will he overcome this? Will Isabel go back to the future? I enjoyed this book! The story flows well, and the road becomes difficult. This book is a page turner. I received this book as an arc. I am voluntarily leaving a review.

I liked this time travel romance from Hazel Hunter it’s very good. Camdyn, the blacksmith/war master has a dark reputation. Grumpy, sullen and alone, he prefers his life this way. Sunny side up Isabel has had a hard life. Growing up in foster care has made her pragmatic and made her want more for herself. When the sword transports her back in time to save the clan, she just goes with the flow. When Camdyn finds her, he’s not happy about it. He doesn’t want his life to change or the upheaval the Fire Sword brings to Isabel’s protector. This was a good book but I felt like their romance was very slow and then bam they were in love. The characters are wonderful, the story is interesting and keeps you guessing. HH has been teasing us along that Kendrick will return and I for one can’t wait. And I’d love to see Struan get an HEA too. I read this ARC and am happily leaving my review.

Wow! I loved Camdyn and Isabel’s story. Camdyn is not comfortable with women, but when Isabel arrives unexpectedly, will he decide to accept his fate or end up pushing her away? There are some very humorous interactions between this delightful couple. When danger threatens, can these wonderful characters work together to overcome this evil and find their happy ever after? This book grabbed my interest from the very first page and I found it very hard to put down. Great Book!

Love for Camdyn

I so enjoyed this book! Who doesn't adore it when a beastly temper is tamed by the beauty of his soul mate's unconditional love? Isabel is wonderfully quirky, and Camden has that sexy wounded heart surliness that women can't seem to resist. Together, the sexual tension is off the charts, hotter than meddling matchmaking Flame Sword that starts all of the adventures in this imaginative and action packed series. Hazel Hunter never disappoints!

I loved this sweet, sexy time travel romance set in the Scottish highlands. The heroine, Isabel is independent, brave, and sassy. Camdyn tries to resist her, but love always wins.😉 Add to the mix a jealous rival, clan enemies, and betrayal, and an exciting and dramatic adventure awaits.

I really enjoyed this one. I've been waiting for grumpy Camdyn to have his own story, and was not disappointed in the slightest. Isabel is more than a match for him, and refuses to bow down and act like a lady of the period would. Well written, with great attention to detail and great character work, this one is great read.

Third book in this series. I liked Camdyn's character in the previous story and he didn't disappoint. Although I was a little less sure why the blade found our heroine. Didn't really seem like a significant risk for the clan. Still a good read.

Camdyn book 3

The fire sword disappears and usually someone from the 21st century gets a hold of it and goes to the 14th century to where it belongs. The only thing is that person is to help save the clan that it belongs to.

What a tangled tale this was. Isabel is transported to the past locked in a wardrobe. Then falls into the arms of a chieftan who is an immortal. Add in a truly insane stalker and you have an intriguing book that I hated to put down. I loved the cool hidden room and the enchanted cup.
