This was a great series and pretty good conclusion, except, no resolution on Sawyer’s mortality 😩😩😩 so it’s a HEA for him and HFN for Eden 😐😐😩. Olivia’s powers are revealed and it would be cool to have a series with her and Ryan, now that his powers have developed.

OK, I loved this whole series from the beginning. Eden and her crazy family kept me hooked. I loved that the epilogue went far into the future, but does Sassy ever find out Vaughn being a vampire? What about Tanner? Spinoff for Olivia please.

2023 bk 270 - the ending of a series is always sad, but there is always hope that the author will pick up one of the other characters and tell their story. I hope that is true of this story. I love the community, the vibe between friends and family, and have hope for little Olivia and her brother. This is the strongest of the series and Chase did an excellent job of wrapping up the threads. Thank you for this series.

The final book in a spectacularly entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series

This is the final book in a spectacularly entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters and an extraordinarily entertaining storyline. In theory is an actual fury who comes from a Paranormal family or her mother is a witch and her father is a vengeance demon. Every so often in the family a furious born. Aiden happen to join the FBI until one day when she was on a case in San Francisco she accidentally siphoned the powers of a vampire that was attacking her human partner. After that she was transferred to the FBM which is the federal Bureau of magic And agency unknown to most humans who are in charge of Paranormal’s. She was transferred back to the town where she was born and raised and put in charge of the small two person office there. There was a dormant portal in that town they had been dormant for centuries for the most part She would check on it every day and also keep watch over the town as it was a magical draw to supernatural. Her mother and grandmother were dark witches and always seem to be up to something. Rest of your family also a Paranormal Saline and their stories and characters are interspersed throughout the books. Her partner in the two person office is Neville a wizard who helped train her to fight more demons and learn everything they want to know about the different weaknesses. There is trouble brewing in town and once again agent fury and her partner must figure out what’s going on and see if they can stop it. Will they be able to do it or will the town fall. Readon and see the final adventure of Eden fury and the characters in chipper chatting. The story wraps up the storyline of Eden fury and what’s going on in their small town and even take a peek into a little bit of their future at the end. For the most part all of your questions will be answered by the end of the book and it is a sad but good ending.

I am so sad that this is the end of the series, but it was a great ending. We weren't left with questions about the future or any left over what ifs. As sad as I am to let go, this is one of the best wrap ups I have read. Thank you Annabel ❤️

This is the (sniff) final book to the series and it is a great wrap up. Mayor Swift not only cheated on his election, but now is making a deal with demons to open the portal that Eden has been protecting. He is a clueless human who thinks he will gain power and minions. It will take Eden's full fury powers, a sacrifice and needing to convince the whole supernatural town to stop this from happening!

Thank you to Annabel Chase, for giving us 4 years and 14 books set in Chipping Cheddar! I will miss new chapters of Eden Fury and her crazy supernatural family's antics. Grandma and her mom were the most fun witches I have ever read about. All of the characters personalities were unique which made the series a top favorite. I am just glad I bought them so I can reread anytime I need a laugh. Loved the ending.

Eden Fury, Good to the Bone!

First of all, I LOVE Annabel Chase! She always keeps me coming back for more of her insight and snarky wit. I love the way she develops her characters and makes them relatable. Eden Fury is a great example of this. This series had me hooked from the beginning. I have laughed out loud many times in every book and cried a few, too. The way Eden grew and matured and influenced her family to do the same was inspiring without being preachy. I'm so glad she found her match in Sawyer. It may be fiction, but the world needs more of the acceptance these books show. Excellent reading for everyone from eighteen to eighty. (I'm a 65 year old woman.)

So sad to see this series end.

Eden Fury and Sawyer Fox are great characters and I'm sure there are still stories waiting to be told. After all Eden is immortal now while Sawyer is human. There's also the children Olivia ......whose magic sounds as if it's even stronger than Eden's and Ryan what form will his magic take. Then there's the children Eden and Sawyer will have............. I liked the way this story was resolved ( no details, don't want to spoil it for anyone) and I think many will be quite surprised........................

FABULOUS Ending to a FABULOUS Series!

I pretty much love all of the books that Annabel Chase has written, but I do admit to the “Federal Bureau of Magic” series being an absolute favorite!

This is one of those series where I give myself a little time after I read them, then I pick them up and read them again. I look forward to revisiting this series and enjoying it every bit as much as I have the first time.

Excellent ending (slight spoiler, sorry)

I thought the great sacrifice was only for Eden, but it wasn't. Everyone got a happy ending after the final battle. and it was wonderful. Good triumphed in the end love forged bonds never to be undone and the series ended triumphantly.

An Amazing Ending to the Series! 💜🩷💜

Don’t let the title fool you! Not that I have anything against a “Cozy Mystery Series”, but I thought this would one of those “good vibes and silly” books that was all warm and fuzzy! Not the case here, since this series has a certain “edge”. Each book has a new mystery that gets solved by the end of each book. The FMC Eden is a hoot! She is super likable, sarcastic and the star of this series. Eden gets transferred back home against her wishes to be an agent for the Federal Magical Bureau. Now she has to embrace her magic, which is something she was always reluctant to do, embrace living once again with her whacky family, who she so desperately wanted to leave behind and get reacquainted with the people of the town where she grew up. I was really pleasantly surprised by this series. What I liked most is the barely there “dark undertones” that make it that much more interesting. I have read plenty of Annabel Chase’s books. Some I liked better than others, but this one is turning out to be a real joy to read. There is a progression to this series, especially Eden who is slowly but surely learning to embrace who she really is. Highly Recommended ❤️❤️❤️ PS. I would also recommend you read “ The Crossroads Queen Series by Annabel Chase” - One of the best series out there!

I can't believe there have been 14 FBM books. I can't believe it's over and I'll not visit Eden Fury and company again unless it's by re-reading these wonderful stories. I have looked forward to and loved every one of these books.

This one was no exception as the entire town of Chipping Cheddar supernaturals came together to fight the army of demons breaking through the portal that's been dormant for hundreds of years. Everyone was there and represented in this final story. It was a fabulous read and it left me saddened at the end knowing it's over.

I do hope Annabel Chase creates another series or has a crossover with Olivia as an adult. She's so powerful and they don't even know what type of supernatural she is. She shouldn't be relegated to memory as only a side character from this series. She has too much potential.

If you've never read any of these books but are even the slightest bit interested, read this one. You'll probably end up reading all of them, but this can stand alone. Happy reading!

Well done Annabel Chase!

A great final book to the series.
While trying to figure out how Mayor Swift fixed the election, Eden discovers that he has a plan for opening the portal.
As he has no plans to stop the opening, having the incorrect idea that he will still be in charge, it is up to Eden and friends to figure out a way to stop it.
Due to some construction, started by the mayor, there are cracks appearing in the portal and the FBM doesn’t really believe her when she reports it.
This book covers the search to stop the opening; this means everyone supernatural in the town must work together.
There’s not really a mystery but this is an interesting story and the characters are wonderful. There are surprises, great interactions, some changes and of course humour.
I loved this series but I would really enjoy a follow-up to see how everyone manages in the future. What happens to Olivia as she grows up, does Sassy ever discover her boyfriend is a vampire, the problem of Eden’s immortality and Sawyers humanity.
Even without a follow up I would recommend this series.
It’s an easy, quick, fun read.

That was a quick, fun read. I always hoped that portal was going to open one day and it was obvious this was going to happen in this last book of this cozy series.
It was a good finish overall, especially the whole build up in which lots of relationships of Eden with her friends and family found a satisfying settlement. The last big fight however felt rushed and lacked the necessary drama and energy. While I enjoyed the fluffier style of these books compared to dark fantasy it was a tad bit too far on the slapstick side, unlike other previous cases. And the epilogue was overly sweet almost. I missed especially the cost of Eden go full fury and embracing herself. But oh well, I can live with that.
In the end I practically inhaled this book, had as fun reading it as I had with the whole series and I appreciate an official closure to a series instead of dragging it on and on or worse, leaving it unfinished.
So thanks for this entertaining series!

Done and dusted

Mayor Swift has schemes afoot that don't actually involve the old people of Chipping Cheddar... his new development is not intended for the "wrinklies" but instead for the demons from Otherworld... this is the issue when humans think they know it all... Eden needs to seal the already unstable portal and prevent anything from coming through... she'll need help from everyone, good or bad, and ultimately a sacrifice, the greatest sacrifice without bloodshed...

This was somewhat ruined with a mawkish epilogue that was utterly unnecessarily twee... don't have a fight for the lives of the entire population of the town and beyond, then have a picnic with such a ridiculous amount of sentimentality... it ruined what was probably the best of the series

Final Fury (Federal Bureau of Magic,#14) by Annabel Chase, Jill Smith (Narrator)

Annabel Chase is one of my very favorite writers of Paranormal Cozy Fantasy Mysteries. She writes strong female characters and Agent Eden Fury is no exception to that rule. Federal Bureau of Magic series comes to an end with Final Fury, but never fear, it wraps up beautifully.

This story skillfully knits in all of loose threads and has a fabulous epilogue that gives the readers a glimpse at the Happily Ever After that we were hoping all of our town favorites would be enjoying.

An excellent wrap up to the series.

From first book to last a wonderful series!

I love these crazy characters. I've been enjoying this series since book one and I hate to see them go. It's been a treat to read such a funny and light hearted paranormal series and I looked forward to every new book. I will say this final book brought me full circle and was everything it should be to conclude this series. If you haven't read this series you are missing a laugh out loud good time and well worth your every minute you read. Goodbye chipping cheder!

Nothing like an epic battle, against overwhelming odds, to finish a series. By the way, I paraphrased that from The Last Starfighter , a movie that came out long ago, well before Star Wars .

The story continues to flow seamlessly to the end and is well written. I give the storyline an A+.

Grammar-wise, the story is almost flawless as well. I give the grammar an A-. I'm an editor and I catch those little things that others should as well. Not quite a flawless victory, but close.

Thank you for an epic end to the series, Annabel.

Noooooooo it can’t be the end

I’ve loved this series. The characters are so very funny. They’ve all evolved in such fun ways. There is a nice mix of interesting stories in each book. These are easy reads but keep your interest. Overall, it’s typical family stuff told by paranormal members. Some are funny some seem sort of mean, but in the end you see they are all a good group of people. I loved this series. I really love this author.

Finale is Fabulous

I have read this series from the beginning and Annabel has done a fabulous job from the first weaving her characters. This finale has drama, magick, and a wonderful ending. Eden and the supernaturals thwart the rotten new mayor, reseal the portal, and manage some surprises along the way. Definitely a great ending for Sawyer, Eden, Clara, Redmond, and Neville... plus the extended characters.

Wanted mayor to suffer more

I'm sorry to see this series end! I've enjoyed each book from the premise to the town to the characters. This book was a very good wrap up, though I wanted the mayor to suffer for his actions more. Yes, I an be a little blood thirsty when it comes to smacking down the bad guys. This is a fun series and I recommend reading it in order for maximum fun!

I enjoyed this series, they were all very quick reads, but the stories got somewhat repetitive over time. Not sure it needed to be 14 books as there wasn't a lot of character growth until closer to the end. I really disliked the main character's feelings about her powers and everything else and I'm not sure she came to the place of growth I would have wanted, but... I don't regret reading them! They were cute and quick and fun.

4 stars. This was an adorable cheese fest! Pun sort of intended because I could have written something else once I recognized the pun. If you’ve made it this far in the series then you will recognize it too and possibly groan. This was an ooey gooey totally wrapped up ending in a sparkling bow and I’m pretty certain there may have been whipped cream and a cherry on top. You will probably enjoy this best with a tissue and a lemon handy!

Amazing series!

Annabel Chase hooked me on paranormals with her Spellbound Series, and I’ve never looked back. The Fury Series is one of my all time favorites and I’m sad to see it end, but know there will be excellent worlds to explore in the future. Thank you Annabel, for giving me a much needed escape from reality!

Outstanding Read

What an outstanding conclusion to a series that was delightful, funny, and filled with magic, mystery, and who (or in this book what) done it. I hate to see the series end and hope for a special edition once in awhile. If you get this book you will enjoy it as. Uch as I did
