I always start my reviews of this series with this advice: If this is the first King’s Ranch book you are about to read there are a couple of things you need do. The first is to back up a few pages on your device and read the cautionary note that Ms. Hart writes to the people she knows (it always makes me smile). The second thing is to go back to the Kindle store and download all the previous books, because you will want to read them all.
For fans of this series be assured that the magic of King’s Ranch has not diminished and Fate continues to bring just the right men into the lives of the women they will spend forever with. Duke and Liam have been waiting for almost a decade for the right woman to enter their lives and when she does they both fall hard and fast.
Abbey comes to the ranch ostensibly to visit her friends Grace and Blake, but there are other more ominous reasons for the visit. Be sure and check the trigger warnings for this story as there are numerous mentions of domestic violence but Ms Hart deals with the issue with compassion and care. And aside from the relationship Abbey has with Liam and Duke the women of King’s Ranch are wonderful friends and incredibly supportive of Abbey as she deals with her past and with her future.
The chemistry between Duke, Liam and Abbey is immediate and never in doubt. But as in all relationships they all have to deal with past hurts and insecurities to move forward. The fact that they are all kind and generous with their love for each other allows them to do that. There are some heart stopping moments in this story, but ultimately Duke, Liam and Abbey have a blank canvas to create their new life together. I received an free advance review copy from the author and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Danielle Hart's "Rescuing Abbey" is a powerful exploration of love and healing, seamlessly woven into the tapestry of suspense and unyielding protection. Abbey's journey from an abusive past to the sanctuary of King's Ranch introduces readers to a trio of compelling characters - Abbey, Duke, and Liam - whose lives intersect in unexpected and profoundly transformative ways.
Abbey's escape from an abusive relationship brings her to the safety of King's Ranch, where Duke and Liam, both battling their own demons, become her pillars of strength. Hart masterfully captures the complexities of healing from trauma, portraying the genuine connection that blossoms between Abbey and her saviors.
The characters, each dealing with their share of struggles, come alive on the pages, offering readers a glimpse into their vulnerabilities and strengths. The dynamics between Abbey, Duke, and Liam unfold with a perfect blend of passion and tenderness, creating a heartwarming and, at times, heart-wrenching narrative.
As the trio navigates the challenges of their individual pasts, a looming threat emerges on the ranch, testing their newfound bonds. The suspenseful elements add a layer of intrigue, keeping readers engrossed as the characters face external dangers that could shatter the sanctuary they've built.
"Rescuing Abbey" is a favorite of mine so far. I find Hart's storytelling captivating, making it a compelling read that deeply resonates with emotion. I'm eagerly awaiting the next story.

I love this type of sweet & steamy story. The characters were realistic, complex and easy to champion. The story's suspenseful elements were well done as well. Would recommend!
Abbey Young was in an abusive relationship. She walked in on her boyfriend in bed with another woman and fled Georgia. She decided to see her two best friends Grace and Blake in Texas at King's Ranch.
Liam Kilpatrick is an equestrian. He and Duke share a home and plan to share a wife.
Duke Bennett is a part-time sheriff and head of security for King's Ranch. He is former military and suffers from PTSD.
Abbey met Duke when she ran out of gas and had no cell service on her way to the ranch. He found her car on the road and took her to his home on the ranch until Grace and Blake came back from their trip. She met Liam while she was drawing in a pasture. All three felt an immediate attraction however Duke and Abbey think they are too broken to be in a relationship. They hook up and start to fall in love. Meanwhile there are several incidents of vandalism on the ranch. The three of them finally get their HEA after a horrific event is nuetralized.
This is Liam, Duke and Abbey's story and I loved it so much. Abbey has been through hell for years with her boyfriend and has decided the time to leave after she finds him cheating on her. She runs to Kings Ranch to see Blake and Grace two of her best friends. What she doesn't expect to find is a sexy sheriff who comes to her rescue and a hot Equestrian rider who makes her melt. I absolutely loved these characters and how both Duke and Abbey feel like they are broken and not good enough for love. They heal each other in so many ways and Liam helps guide them. These three together are combustible right from the start. They have so many things the just fit you can see how they are meant to be from the beginning. another fun-loving story with great character development and a mystery storyline to make you think some. This series is great fun to read, and I can't wait to see what's going to come next. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.
This is the fifth book in the Kingsland Ranch series. You can read it as a standalone but is connected to the other books in the series. Each book in the Kingsland Ranch series can be read as a standalone but they are all connected so you might have spoilers for the other books. If you love steamy hot ménage romance you'll love this series. Duke and Liam are looking for a special woman to call their own when Duke comes across Abbey stranded on the side of the road. Duke is fighting his own demons convinced Abbey deserves better than to be saddle to him. Liam believes Abbey is the perfect one for them. Abbey has her own secrets and is running from her ex. I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest review.
Welcome back to King's Ranch. Danielle Hart has added another great chapter to the King's Ranch series. Rescuing Abbey is another great novel with all the feels. Trying to leave an abusing relationship, Abbey escapes to the only safe place she knows, King's Ranch, where her two best friends reside with their men. It is there that she meets Liam and Duke and they show her what true live really means. But danger is lurking around the corner. If you love romance with action, suspense, and just the right amount of steam, then you want to check out Rescuing Abbey by Danielle Hart. I know you will enjoy it.
I absolutely loved this story from Kings Ranch. You can read as a stand alone but I throughly recommend you start from the beginning. This is a phenomenal series! Abbey has been in an abusive relationship for a while and finally gets the courage to leave when she catches her ex cheating. She runs to her childhood friends who have made their home at Kings Ranch. She’s almost there when her car runs out of fuel. Sheriff Duke rescues her. One look at he knows she could be his and Liam’s missing piece. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, true love, friendship, danger, healing, suspense, fun, laughter and a wonderful HEA. I can’t wait for more from Kings Ranch!
Rescuing Abbey is the 5th book in Danielle Hart's King's Ranch series. All books are standalone, but you understand events better when you read the books in order.
This spicy, why choose romance tells the story of how Abbey, Duke and Liam fell in love. Abbey was in a scary, controlling relationship before she escaped to stay with her best friends. She meets Duke on the way to the ranch where her friends live and decides to trust him to help her out of a bad situation.
This book is an uplifting read about falling fast and hard when you find your true loves. I love Danielle Hart's writing style and her King's Ranch world is always fun to visit!
Loved this! When she runs from her abusive ex, Abbey runs into the arms of cowboys Duke and Liam but trouble follows. I liked the slow burn and the skittish stand off behaviour of Abbey. It's good she didn't just jump into their arms and I enjoyed how they stand up and protect her when trouble comes. The chemistry between the three was well done also. Another well written book with truly likeable characters and a suspenseful plot. Very well done!!
Abbey uses her boyfriend’s cheating to escape the abusive relationship. She ends up with her best friends and meets Duke and Liam. They are instantly attracted to each other and things move quickly but Duke is also bit hardened. He suffers from PTSD and sees himself damaged but Abbey helps him through an episode. As the trio moves forward, her ex is not so quick to let her go. The guys were protective and attentive. Good read..
All about a survivor finding her way to the men who will love her. As MFM+ books go, Danielle Hart is in the top 10. I feel immersed in the story. The spice level is just right. Reading Book 1 and following through is really necessary in this series. The characters meld well from book to book and show up all over the place. You feel like a part of the community. I really enjoyed the story here and am anxious to get the next.
I received an ARC Copy of this book, and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is a well written Menage story with awesome characters. Please remember this is a menage story so if you don't care for that type of story this one isn't for you. I would encourage everyone to go get this one it is worth your time. I think you will enjoy this one I know I did.
Running away from her ex and deciding to go visit her two best friends leads to unexpected consequences for Abbey. All she wanted to do was escape her abusive ex. Love was the last thing on her mind. Broody Duke and bubbly Liam as well their cute dog Jax will.steal your heart just like they did with Abbey. A lot of love and a bit of danger was a winning recipe in this book!
This Series continues with another Set of Hot Guys Liam and Duke as well as the amazing Abbey. Its wonderful to read how these three bring each other out of their shell to be their true selves. Can’t wait to get more stories from KingsRanch.
I really loved this book I couldn’t put it down! I love how they all had problems they had to over come together. Which is what you want in a good relationship. Another hit for me!
I really enjoy all the people at Kings Ranch. This book was a bit of a disappointment as the story and interaction between the characters did not feel developed.
The magic of The King’s Ranch continues in this reverse harem romance. This is book 5. A little mystery and a lot of HEAT. I would definitely read more of the series if available.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Mfm (no ⚔️) Small town cowboys Left the cheating ex to get spoiled by two beautiful men A broody cop An intense French equine Olympian A very happy dog
I revived this as an ARC from the author. Holy shit. This has one of my favorite tropes. The “upgrade” from the cheating shitty ex. She ran out on the ex after catching him cheating. She comes to find Blake and Grace ant Kings Ranch only to run out of gas. She’s saved by the broody cop. They show her how a relationship is supposed to be and she realizes they are everything she wants. Such a beautiful story, I LOVED it. We get a glimpse of the next book also 😉 but I think this might be my favorite one yet.
Abbey has finally made the break from a situation that undeserved and harmful. Seeking solace, she journeys to King's Ranch in search of her closest friends. What she finds is unexpected and so much more. Liam, Duke and Abbey find attraction, kinship healing and love, while dealing with insecurities and encroaching danger. A well written ménage that held my interest.
