I can never get enough Dolly! No matter how many books I read about her, one thing always remains consistent: her humbleness, her devotion to her fans, and the way she truly is a diamond in a rhinestone world.
This book was probably 95% Dolly’s own quotes, 2% quotes from others about her, and 3% highlights of her incredible achievements—and honestly, I loved that. It felt less like reading a traditional biography and more like getting little glimpses into Dolly’s personality, wisdom, humor, and heart through her own words.
There’s just something so special about Dolly Parton. Her kindness, authenticity, and ability to stay grounded despite everything she has accomplished make her impossible not to admire.
I’m so glad I grew up in the ’90s listening to Dolly, and even more grateful to be part of a generation that has gotten to experience her talent, generosity, humor, and heart in real time. Dolly is truly one of a kind, and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of reading about her.

Beautiful candids of one of America's sweetheart and best friend. Filled with fun facts and thoughts and quotes. A book I'm sure I'll pick up and read from again when I need a pick me up.
