Betrayal hurts worse when done by the ones you showed the most love to.
The saying couldn’t be truer for the Priest Brothers. In this finale, the three men learn more about themselves than Duke could’ve ever taught them. While Krypt is figuring out who the woman was that hit their stash spots, Khrome is learning what it really means to be a single parent. It was never in his plans, especially this way. With a pending homicide case hovering over his head, Kavalli promised to never let another woman catch him slipping. He didn’t care how solid she seemed.
With secrets coming to light, relationships ending, and blood being shed, trusting those around them become difficult. Discovering what it means to put it all on the line, can they thug every obstacle out and keep their legacy alive? Or will trappin’ be the downfall of what they worked so hard to build? Still Trappin’ Through The Snow has a cold journey to the conclusion, but BriAnn Danae was sure to leave the heat on every page of this final installment and introduce you to a new set of characters you won’t forget.

Man I loved this little series!! I will admit I didn't care about Koya or her mama 😂😂 Gina was a great woman! She was strong and held stuff down, I love that she encouraged the boys to not hold any grudges towards ol funky Duke!! I also felt how she separated herself from the ones who kept his secret. I really enjoyed Krypt and Aloras love story, they had that soft love! I wasn't that interested in Khrome and Selyse and I think its just because the other two couples were already established sort of, and they were still in the dating stage. That Khrome was smooth though😩😩. I absolutely loved Kavalli and Dreeya!! My girl Big Dree 😂😂 they kept me cracking up.. When my girl said "Whatever you on... I'm on it twice, tag me in!!! I almost threw my tablet 😂😂💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 I really enjoyed the Priest brothers ❤ Vezzo was such a sweet and good young man I hope all his dreams come true! I really loved how Shantel was open and accepting to the help that Alora and Krypt were offering her and that kids!! ( 🖐🏿🖐🏿 here's two slaps for the back of her head for letting that fool come stay 😂) I'm excited about Parish but I have a feeling Koya is about to work my nerves lol
Definitely liked this one better than the first one. Krypt n alora were my favourite n their relationship with vezzo. Cant wait for summertime shootout
BriAnn will make you fall in love with some characters.
I enjoyed the Priest Brothers and there was a great balance of story between each brother. But I wanted more of Krypt, I could read a whole book or novella dedicated to him and the brothers just show up occasionally lol
Overall, I enjoyed this book. BriAnn has become one of my favorite authors. Her pen game gon come through every time.
Some random thoughts - I’m glad Gina went on about her life after finding out Duke’s secret. I wanted to dig him up for her -Whew! The peace I felt when it was confirmed that Dreeya was still a real one -I just want peace and happiness for Khrome. -I’m mad that proposal was robbed from us! It’s my favorite part of the love stories lol -The way Krypt and Alora cared for Vezzo and his siblings warmed my heart -Although my heart can’t take a lot of drama or violence in books, I was kinda waiting on something big to happen considering their lifestyle but it didn’t.
I definitely still think multi shifting pov books need tandem narration no matter how good the actors are. And I can see why a lot of people love the brothers. I liked them and the fmcs more by the end but I wouldn’t put them on any of my favs lists. One thing is clear as I make my way through the author’s catalog she can tell a story!! It was one of those reads that is going on my just a good book list. There wasn’t anything I loved. Or feel any big connection to. It’s just a well written story.
Krypt and Alora and just so solid. I love them so much. I love that they were a tight unit that had zero drama in the way they showed up for Vezzo and his siblings ❤️❤️
Khrome and Seylse were just the cutest!! Seylse was exactly what Khrome and Mani need it after going through such a traumatic event. I loved anytime Khrome and Seylse got to two-stepping; they were giving all the cute fluffy vibes. And I’m so happy Khrome didn’t blame himself for Milan.
Kavalli is so damn stubborn, and he was getting on my last one 😂 but he wised up and put that pride to the side and got his woman back. Dreeya is one of my favorite female characters; my girl told Kavilli ass, “Whatever you on, I’m on twice… tag me, I’m it.” I hit the floor 😝🤣
I love how the boys loved their sister Koya immediately! Her and Kavalli's relationship is so cute!
My heart broke for Mama Gina; I couldn’t imagine loving a man and believing we were living one life to discover that my soulmate had a father, a whole child outside our relationship. She had every right to cut off the people she did.
Still Trappin Through the Snow is book 2 in this series. There is not much trappin or snow in this series so far. The family really seems more like an upper middle class family that rides on deceased dad’s street cred. This wouldn’t be a problem if they didn’t try to come off as these super hard street dudes. There are multiple instances where they are too trusting and too forgiving and it left me asking, “where is your gangsta?”. There was a lot of drama and it may have landed better if the author had taken a Crowne Legacy or Crenshaw Kings approach and devoted a book to each sibling. As it stands the storylines feel rushed and underdeveloped. I did have an appreciation for each brother by the end.
I like this series, but I felt it was a little confusing with all the characters. I wish the different characters had chapters or subchapters to indicate when they switched. It was hard to tell when the characters changed.
The audiobook was good; its dual narration was a major plus. I listened at 2x speed.
The Priest Brothers 😮💨 I enjoyed book 2! I’m ready for part 3 cause I know I’m going to get more on Koya! These brothers though! Whew I don’t know who my favorite one is but Krypt may be the one! Lol!
This was a good series thus far, and I enjoyed learning about the Priest Brothers. I loved the growth of each of the brothers by the second book.
Kavalli is definitely the funniest of the three, and though he and Dreeyah was stressing me the hell out with their back and forth, I was happy to see their growth as a couple once they put all the BS to the side.
I truly felt for Khrome throughout this series because all he wanted to do was be a good father to his daughter, and while he was exactly that. He was met with the struggle of trying to be there for Milan while staying committed to his boundaries when it came to co-parenting. Though it was sad how things ended, it was only so much he could do and make clear to her without causing himself to suffer. I was also happy to see him get another chance at love.
Krypt is such a good man, and he and Alora were blessed to have one another. Though hesitant at first, I respect the friendship they built first off, giving them a solid foundation with their relationship.
I felt so much for Gina. Being loyal to your husband in life and even in death only to find out he wasn’t completely the man you thought he was had to be one of the biggest heartbreaks. But the revelation of his secrets were needed because now she’s able to solely focus on her happiness, putting that marriage in the past and fully moving on to a new happiness.
It was nice to see the guys accept Koya despite the double life their father lived while still alive. Now I’m interested to read more about her, Parish and Vezzo in “Summertime Shootout.”
Book 2 was less chaotic than book 1, but also about 70% in things started to wrap up. Which for me made me begin to quickly lose interest in a few of the story lines. For instance, I really liked Khrome and Seylse in book 1. But was bored with them in this one.
The only couple I really cared about was Krypt and Alora. But they were consistent from the beginning, minimal drama. Just solid.
I love the healing for Gina. But what happened to her boys meeting her guy?!
There were a few storylines that went from sparks to nada. Almost like the author lost interest herself or forgot to conclude them.
I definitely didn’t like the ending. And the timeline wasn’t ever clear. I couldn’t tell if this was all happening in a 2 week timeframe or had months… years passed?!
Based on all the social media talk- I want to read more about Parish (who I really like… talk about a reckless hothead… yassss give me more) and Koya.
Oh and another favorite, Vezzo. I want that kid to WIN!! The 3 stars are really for Vezzo. I’m happy he is getting more attention in book 3.
Bored! This book & characters is the continuation from book 1’s cliffhanger. Unfortunately though, this story line was disappointing. Similar to book 1, there are too many big ideals, characters & or transitions condensed into five plus hours yet three/six parallel stories are disjointed. I just expected more from book 2 of this series! “Still Trappin’ Through The Snow (Trappin’ Series- Book 2) was an okay read. However, by the books’ end I didn’t care nor was I interested (any longer) or intrigued to know more about the Priest matriarch, brothers or their mates, who & why Duke was murdered, Milian’s murder & murderer etc. This series had the potential to be much better had the author controlled the narrative!
I loved the way this story went! It was amazing to see Krypt & Alora give their relationship a try ❤️ I absolutely love how they support Vezzo and his family! Krypt is a provider through & through and seeing him be there for everyone was beautiful to watch
Khrome ohhhh my heart hurt for him & Khemani 🥺 but he stepped in to role of being a full time dad beautifully! He was such an amazing lover to Selyse! That man was applying pressure behind her! He was so attentive & that man was smooth as hell with his words 😮💨
Kavalli & Dreeya had me worried there for a minute 😅 I’m glad Kavalli apologized & did what he needed to do to get his woman back. They definitely were both toxic af but it worked for them!
I really enjoyed the Trappin / Still Trappin through the Snow series. I wish I would have read them in the proper order but all 4 books have been listened to via audiobook. All of the Priest Brothers and the women they dealt with had interesting storylines +Sister Koya. My favorite brother was Krypt and the fact that he had no drama and was able to handle his siblings with respect. I love how he and Alora were able to move their relationship out of the friendzone and took a liking to Vezzo. I will definitely recommend the series in the proper order :). ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lordt this was a good closing to this book! I am glad we were able to see how all of the brothers were able to settle down and get things right with their women! I would have liked an update on Koya and Remi because I feel like it wasn’t mentioned. Maybe I’ll find out in the next book! Idk I think Khrome was my favorite brother!
Good read, would definitely recommend this series!
I dislike disloyalty! I didn’t like her Vezzo mom didn’t sit down and talk with her kid’s before make the decision to moving the youngest two dad it ! But I just love how close each family is and they stick together! I love how the bothers are so street but also so loving 🥰
Those Preist brothers! I didn’t like Meka she just didn’t give up hope. I love Alora for Kurupt, she was definitely meant for him. Dreeya and Kavolli was crazy but you could definitely tell they love each other. Selyse was exactly what Khrome needed. Koya just put the icing on top, they’ve always wanted a sister and she fit right in.
I enjoyed reading this book as much as the first book in this series. I like the flow of the story and really enjoyed how the characters evolved. Looking forward to reading more by this author.
Great read. The Priest Brothers look out for people in the communities as well as love ones . Still have love for Duke …His impact in his sons love help make the savages they were
I was on Facebook and Mie posted a status about BriAnn's pen game. I was like "yea let me check her out bc I need a new author to binge read." BEST DECISION EVER! This book was amazing! Krypt, Khrome, and Kavalli were everything! Even Dreeya was dope!
Honestly, I liked the first book in the series better. This book followed a lot of people’s story/life which was sometimes hard to keep up with and some stuff was glossed over. Of course Krypt is my fav of the siblings lol. It was a cool lil read.
This was so good. An awesome part 2. I loved the Priest brothers uniquely. Koya is a great addition to to family and I love that she looks and acts like Kavalli. Glad Gina got her peace from all of the secrets that came out.
I’m glad it worked out for all the characters! I was heart broken for Gina, but honey the way her new boo was described I was like okay. Can’t wait to see what happens next….
