Good second book in series. Can't wait for the next which is to be available later in 2023.
So the game continues...... New characters are introduced along with more adversaries. Eddie, Laura and their allies learn more about the game as they play. They get new abilities as they level up or finish quests. The book is heart pounding in places. You are always guessing who's going to survive the battles. What's going to happen next??? Not a gamer, but the game is explained as you go along. Very interesting storyline. Keeps you reading to the end!

Eddie and Laura are back and trying to survive the Crimson Gauntlet. This time more machines and characters are introduced that these two must both survive and train to survive in their new reality. Just another crazy chapter in this crazy world Eddie must survive as things are tossed his way. I was glued to the end to see what he must face and see what he can learn about what is going on. And cannot forget the fun of the factions that add to all the mess. Just a fun story.
