2023 Honorable Recognition for the Firebird Book Awards Short Story
Sizzling sex and steam-filled fantasies make up the world of the women who work at and frequent the Union Bar. The lesbian owned bar is the thread that connects all the stories. Several characters make appearances in multiple stories, weaving a tapestry of complex sexual relationships.
Erotic and sensual, passionate and seductive, romantic and intimate… join the women at the Union Bar!
“The Union Bar” (Erotic Lesbian Short Stories) is a revised and expanded version of “Lesbian The Union Volume 1”. The original stories have been re-edited, and five new stories have been included.
Yes, there are very well written erotic scenes. But there is so much more to this book. The characters and stories are just as important as the sex scenes. The author did such a great job of intertwining the lives of the bartender and the patrons of The Union Bar, even when they were brief encounters. Each of them had their own stories too. I got so invested in their lives and hoping that each of them found their happy ending. This is a book I’ll definitely reread.
Aside from the issue of names changing during the story I found it quite exciting. I like how the lives of the women who go to the Union bar intersect. I wish I had a place like that to hang out in. You get to follow the characters as they discover or rediscover their one special person. All the chapters are hot and sexy to be sure.
This was a very interesting composition of stories of the people who have come and go in The Union Bar. Some of the stories have continuations that appear later in book. I enjoyed it.
I love the little stories that all revolve around the Union Bar. There are a couple of stories that you can’t wait to continue. Personally the Irish Twins was my favorite and it was last. But they were all fantastic! HEAs all around.
