This volume - investigating the work of a particular photographer, in this case, Wynn Bullock - comprises a 4000-word essay by an expert in the field, 55 photographs presented chronologically, each with a commentary, and a biography of the featured photographer.
Very interesting photographer; beautiful, textured photographs of nature and people some of which look like ink wash paintings; interesting techniques of multiple exposures or reverse printing or turning the image upside down. I would give it 5 stars but some things were not so well explained: the whole Eastern philosophy is clear as mud to me.
