Drew Olsen spent one perfect weekend snowed-in with the woman of his dreams. He even thought he’d put his reputation as the town grump behind him because of it. But just as their romantic fairytale heated up, real life pulled them apart. Mia might have ghosted, but Drew isn’t ready to back down.
Mia Gallo never expected to fall in love on her vacation in Maine…which is why she high-tailed it out of there as soon as the snow melted. She has more than a few dark secrets and if Drew knew the truth about her, he’d want to swoop in and fix everything. And that would only put him in the crosshairs.
Now armed with a plan, Mia is back in Moon Harbor, hoping for a second chance with Drew. But while she’s ready to put her past behind her once and for all, someone else wants to silence her…at all costs.

This was a novella so it was very short and fast paced. We didn't get to know the characters as much as I would have liked. Even though we get the bare minimum of information about them I still fell for them. You can clearly see how much they care and love each other.
Bc we don't know much about what's happening with Mia at the moment and with that cliffhanger at the end it just makes me want to read the next book as soon as possible. I need to know whats going to happen next and I need more of Mia and Drew. They are so different from one another but it seems that Mias sweetness is exactly what Grumpy Drew needs.
Red Light is the fifth book in the Moon Harbor Series, it can be read as a stand-alone.
Short novella that kept me hooked. Although we don’t spend a lot of time with these characters, the emotion is evident that they both care deeply for each other and have great chemistry. There is the unknown danger and reason for Mia’s fears. Some hot spice thrown in and a cliffhanger that I can’t wait to know how this concludes.
I received an ARC copy of this book and am leaving an honest review.
This is part of the Moon Harbor series. Although this novella can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the other Moon Harbor stories because they are amazing!
Drew is known around town as being moody and became more so when Mia left. Drew and Mia had a Christmas romance that ended when Mia left without notice. She has come back to Moon Harbor to apologize to Drew, but will he listen to her explanation?
This was a quick read, but be prepared for the cliffhanger!!
I sat down with my morning coffee and started this novella, and before I knew it was was invested and excited to read Kate’s writing again! This is a novella, so it is short, but it is packed with story and leaves you SOOO ready for the next part! I promise you’ll like it, and while we wait for the next part, check out her other writing (Fighting Light is sooo good, too!). This is a writer I really enjoy, and I know you will, too! She brings the characters, action, and the spice!
Kate, how could you do that!!!? This is a short (very short) novella in my new favorite small town. I love the characters and just the sweet wholesome feeling everyone in this town gives. I’m not a fan of cliffhangers (who is?) but I’m especially unhappy with this one 😂😂. I did not get enough of either character and I’m looking forward to what happens next. Drew needs a happy ending and I’m sure he is going to get it. The spice however is perfect. I love the dynamic between these two. 🌶️🌶️
Ohhh this cliffhanger ending! I can’t even be mad because I was warned. But it sets us up perfectly for the third & final installment of the Moon Harbor Novella series. I’m anxiously waiting.
This is a quick, short novella but it wasn’t lacking. It has just a little heat to it. I feel like there was so much packed in these pages. Don’t miss out on this read.
This is a brilliant short read that ends in a cliffhanger. Drew and Mia had a short time together but then she left without a word. But now she's back. Will Drew forgive her and let her back into his life. What happens when her past comes for her. Can't wait for the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This short, sweet novella was easy to read and really leaves you wanting to know what happens next. Mia comes back to town to apologize to Drew, the guy she had a Christmas romance with. Well, until she up and left without any kind of explanation. Will Drew listen to what Mia has to say or is it too late for that. I really enjoyed this story, and it does end on a cliffhanger, just FYI.
I feel like I need the next book asap. Cliffhangers get me all in a tizzy, and this one is no different. I’m ready to figure out what is going on from Mia’s past, and I can’t wait to see how Drew’s protective side surfaces to save his girl? I hope anyway. Great little novella.
I love quick easy reads like this. I've only read 1 other book in the Moon Harbor Series but reading Drew and Mias story has me going back to read the rest! I loved their story in By Candlelight but this second book had all the drama! I can't wait for the next novella after that ending!
Talk about edging the audience!!! I cannot get enough! I have no idea what Mia has gotten them into but I’m positive the rest of Moon Harbor won’t stand for it. I can’t wait for their HEA!
Red Light is a novella from the Moon Harbor Series. It was short, and so it got straight to the point, which I really like. It leaves off on a cliffhanger, and I actually really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the author's writing style, too, and I'm definitely getting the other books in the series.
