Sophia Scott is a NICU nurse at Eastport General and it is her first day on the job. She used to work at Ms. Sinai Hospital in New York. Her ex-boyfriend Taylor is in his fourth year residency and was struggling. He blamed Sophia for him failing his exam in one of his ethics classes. She broke up with him after his verbal abuse, got the new job and moved to Eastport.
Dr. Jamieson Beckford is in charge of the NICU. His nickname id Doctor Danger because he is good looking and tough on the NICU staff. His grandfather helped start the hospital and was the Chief of Staff. His father was also the Chief of Staff. There is a lot of pressure to be at the top of his game professionally. His family is wealthy and he is to be married in a couple of weeks to Brittany Hershey. Her father is the heir to the Hershey fortune. She is a blogger and influencer on the internet and has been documenting the wedding planning. He and Brittany love each other but Jamie doesn’t feel like they are in love with each other. Their fathers made a deal and neither of them will hurt their families by calling off the wedding. Jamie is not feeling right about the wedding especially after meeting Sophia. It’s a mess.
What is the real reason their fathers made a deal? Will they go through with the wedding? What happens when Sophia’s ex-boyfriend comes to town to get her back? Will Sophia be able to work with Jamie if he ends up breaking her heart?.

This was a great read! I was pulled into the story about a NICU nurse and surgeon. The characters were strong. There was enough suspense to keep you reading and wondering how the book was going to end. Jamieson is from a wealthy family and is engaged to be married to an influencer. He starts to question their relationship and their wedding plans. He meets Sophie and feels instantly drawn to her as she does for him. This book has some tearful moments and suspenseful situations. I couldn’t put the book down!.

What a great addition to the Doctors of Eastport Series by Pandora Snow. This story pulled me in and never let me go. Sophia is a new NICU nurse at Eastport and has just recently gotten out of a relationship and has sworn off men. Dr. Jamieson Beckford is a surgeon working at Eastport and is soon to be married. When he meets Sophia he is drawn to her and starts to question his relationship with his fiancee and the wedding plans. Be ready for a suspenseful, heartful, and tearful ride. Well done Ms. Snow!.

Dr. Jamieson "Jamie" Beckford is preparing to marry but that is until a NICU nurse named Sophie Davis makes him re-evaluate his life. I really enjoyed this book and it's characters. Sophia is so sweet and such an angel, she deserves so much. Jamie is caught between his heart and family pressures, he is truly a man with so much to lose. I loved that Sophie came to Eastport to start over and she finds a life she wasn't prepared for. Such a great story and I love this author, I have to admit she brought me to tears.

This story is filled with suspense and intrigue. Sophie, who is recently off of a bad relationship, has moved and is working in a new hospital in NICU as a nurse. She connects with Dr. Jamieson and sparks ignite between them, but they don't react. he is getting married to another woman one his father insists upon. Will he follow through and forget about the one woman that completes him. This story had me on the edge of my seat to see how it ends.

This is a wonderful romance with plenty of suspense and intrigue. Jamieson and Sophie are two great characters who can't deny their attraction to each other.
There are a few twists and turns but these two finally find a way to find their HEA. This is a great addition to the Doctors of Eastport General series.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Jamie and Sophie. The story keeps us turning the pages with family obligations, wanting a new start, tough decisions and steam.

Jamie had his life mapped out until an unexpected person new to town knocks those plans off the tracks. This was an enjoyable read with a adorable female main character.

Dr. Danger is the nickname given to pediatric neonatal surgeon Jamieson (Jamie) Beckford, the MMC in this book. It’s because he is “trouble” to the nurses that he works with - to their hearts and because he has a strong, demanding work ethic.
Sophia is a NICU nurse who relocates to RI after a particularly strenuous shift at her previous hospital made her realize that she needed a slower, balanced work and home life. She also left a broken relationship with a jerk who took advantage of her sweet nature.
Jamie and Sophia are mutually attracted to one another from the onset. But Jamie is engaged to be married soon…despite the reluctance he is having about the marriage, especially when he realizes his fiancée keeps his father in the loop more than himself.
Jamie’s compassionate nature with his patients and by extension to his family, (though it’s tough with his dad, who was also a doctor) is evident. He is really between the rock and hard place with the impending marriage forced on him by his father.
Sophia has her hands full denying feelings for Jamie, while also being attracted to the Ob-Gyn and fending off the ex-boyfriend who has tracked her down.
This was a charming, heart-warming and sweet story about how sometimes the heart and its desires are set aside for reasons that are not visible. I truly enjoyed it.
