This was a good read. Mia had grown up with a very strict mother. So she ends up at a party and has a one night stand. She ends up pregnant and her new boss is the father. Unfortunately, the kid ends up sick and needs Liam's help. Thankfully he handled everything well and they were able to get their happy ending.

This was a very cute, short read. It was well written for its size. I was actually able to form a connection with the characters in such a short amount of time. I read this in one day. I literally could not put it down. So, if you are looking for a good quick read, look no further.

I just couldn’t give this one five stars. First the H is an a$$hole and not that grumpy around the edges stuff oh no like an I hate kids, I let family members get evicted a$$hole. He doesn’t change until the last 5% of the book. Second, the h’s mom well let’s just say I wanted to punch her.

A masquerade party leads to a baby
Liam goes to a college masquerade party with his brother Dean. Most of the attendees were 20 years old. Liam walked around the house and came across 3 guys and 4 girls in a room. Playing spins the bottle. Then they decided to play truth or dare. He saw this red-haired girl with her mask. It has been a while since he was attracted to someone. It was his turn. He picked Mia for a dare. Offering 7 minutes of pleasure. She took him up on the dare.
Liam didn't know that this was her first time and that she was still a virgin. He stopped before he went all the way. He sensed this was her first time. But she wanted him. He made sure he wore a condom.
Forward one year, and Mia has a little boy named Sammie. He's three months old. She was late by 15 minutes to start her new job. When she knocks on her new boss's door, she isn't prepared for it to be the man that she had sex with. She needs the job. So she doesn't tell him. He's tough on her for being late. He gives her an ultimatum about what he expects from her as his assistant.
As time goes on and they go for a weekend of meeting, bringing Sammie and a sitter with them. Sammie is usually a good baby, but he cried for the 2 hour ride.
Liam and Mia get stuck in an elevator for 4 hours, and anger and frustration get to the two of them. Finally, they lose control and have angry sex.
When she gets home, her and Sammie play on the floor having tummy time, and he gets a nosebleed. She takes him to the hospital. This is when she finds out her little boy is really sick. She finds out she isn't a match for a bone marrow transplant. She has to tell Liam. She needs him to step and see if he is a match. He needs to save his son.
These two started out with a one night stand that created this wonderful little boy. Now they have to work together to save him. His family steps up to help. Her mother is useless. Great story by Olivia Pearl

One night is all it took to change their lives well her life since she walked away from that one-night stand with a gift that would arrive nine months later. Accepting a job without meeting her boss first lead meeting her baby’s father face to face with their clothes on but he doesn’t know about the baby but I will say this her mother isn’t ever going to win mother of the year award she was a piece of work not in a good way either. Liam sexy as all get out billionaire with a large chip on his shoulder rightly so because he has been used for his money or women wanting something from him because he had money but one night he meets an amazing young girl for one evening allowing him to forget for a moment but never really forgot about her and when she walked in as his employee and trying to keep his mind off of her is harder than he thought. The attraction is there for them both but Mia is feeling guilty from keeping the truth from him but the moment he finds out he is a father something shifts inside him and knowing that she never came to him for anything doing her best to handle it all on her own shown him she wasn’t after his money but just the idea of being a dad something he thought would never happen for him shifted his world and little by little she chipped away at that big grumpy chip on his shoulder but is it enough for her to trust him with her heart, with her child, will he put her mother in her place, will he help Mia, what will his family think, and can they find their own happiness?.

a sweet story
This was the first book by Olivia that I have read and I’m impressed. A sweet story with a happy ending written in the dual POV of Liam - the grumpy billionaire and Mia - a sweet and innocent young woman.
Mia and Liam meet at a masquerade party and after a truth or dare game Liam takes Mia’s virginity. They both say they want nothing more from it, it was a one time thing, but fate has other ideas.
This book explores Mia’s life as a young single mother with no support who is desperately trying to manage whilst being the best mother she can, she gets a new job not knowing Liam is the boss! He’s a typical grumpy rich man who thinks money makes the world go round and that he has everything he wants in life - because he has the money to buy it. It’s not until Mia’s baby gets seriously ill and Liam fires her that she opens up about her son. There’s a lot of denial and some very emotional scenes to follow where Mia realises that Liam isn’t the grumpy horrid man and Liam realises that the thing he never knew he wanted but now wants more than anything is something his money can’t buy - a family

Love this book, Mia the young mom, and Liam the billionaire unknowing dad were very believable characters with real world feelings and struggles. Mia was a very determined young woman who had the unfortunate luck of getting pregnant with her first encounter and an absolutely horrible example of a mother to follow or better off not to follow her example. Liam had experienced too many people who tried to use him for a free ride and was very jaded. They struggled, but upon learning he had a child and the effect of knowing that changed him in ways he never thought would be possible. And it helped Mia see him in a new light and possibly give him a chance to be in his son’s life also. The emotions were real and very well described and true to the situation. This was a quick 2 day read and I’d highly recommend it as it was difficult to put down due to the emotions it gave the reader of what would happen next.

This was one night stand and surprise baby trope..
It was a good story plot.
Liam was very grumpy Billionaire and Mia fought him all the way.
Although she didn't tell Liam that he had a baby when she found out he as her new boss and rightly so. He didn't seem to care much about children as he was all too busy with business and sour taste from his upbringing.
But eventually turn of events force her to tell him.
Only issue I had was that they didn't have much chemistry, that spark you could feel through the pages. Don't get me wrong they had plenty of spicy moments but the spark wasn't there. Only in the end did I feel some chemistry between them. That's why it is a 4 star.
It was an easy read and dual pov, which I like in a book.

I believe this is the author's official debut & it shows potential, which is why I rounded up my star rating.Also, I've already read Enemy Billionaire's Fake Fiancé & I liked this book better so I have to rate it higher than the other. The synopsis is straightforward. It's a decent surprise baby dual pov romance.
Because they met at a masquerade party & didn't exchange names, or anything else, Mia isn't aware of Liam's identity. She raises Sammie by herself. When she's unexpectedly reunited with Liam she considers telling him he's a father, but his attitude makes it clear that he's not interested in children. He is a grump& a bit of a jerk but Mia isn't afraid to talk but to him. As expected, once he learns that Sammie is his son, things change between them.
The pacing of the story is fast & it leaves room for character & romantic development. You're not going to like all characters but some of them do redeem themselves. This could've been a great story but I still liked it enough to want to give this author another read.

Fast forward almost a year and Mia gets a new job after she has a baby and is late getting there on the first day. Come to find out that her new boss is Liam. He's also not aware that Mia's baby is his. Because of the secrets, Mia is always one step from losing it on Liam. They are stuck in an elevator and after a fight, they connect again. Later, Mia is playing with her baby and he gets a nosebleed. She takes him to the hospital and they find out he is really ill. She has to come clean with Liam because she needs his help. They have to work together to save the baby and it's all of them as a family against the world.

Good story with diametrically opposed characters

I hesitated for a long time to rate this book. I liked the story which can be very moving, sometimes torrid; I also liked the character of Mia, very strong, but i really have hated the character of Liam almost throughout the story. Sometimes some books have "grump" in the title, without having such an unpleasant character. Here, Liam is often unbearable.
This is also what makes this story addictive, in order to understand how such this situation could be reversed.

I enjoyed this book. Mia is a young mom, Liam is the billionaire unknowing dad. The characters in the book are believable and they have real feelings and real struggles. She has no support and is desperately trying to manage. He’s a typical grumpy rich man who thinks money makes the world go round. When her baby gets seriously ill and he fires her, she finally opens up about her son. She realizes that he’s not grumpy and horrible, he realizes that the thing he wants most is something he can’t buy, a family.

Then it turns out that her baby daddy is her boss who doesn't like kids. When her baby gets sick she must tell Liam that he's a father. Hot story with a great storyline. Very enjoyable!!

Olivia Pearl wrote a great story, this was a story where I couldn't put my book down not even to go eat :) The storyline and build plus the characters make it a story that pulls you in and you also get the emotions feels both going through. This is definitely recommended and I will definitely be

Excellent Novel!
You want a captivating read, this is it! This novel isn't the typical billionaire meets poor young lady story. Yes, its erotic and romantic, and the sex is hot! No one instantly falls in love, though! This couple has to work through a fantastic set of circumstances, before finally finding and completing a great story with plenty of cantankerous attitudes mixed with romance, passion, and love!

Liam is one grumpy bosshole & Mia can't believe of all people she ends up working for her one-night stand & unknowing baby daddy.
It's not until circumstances lead to her needing him that he finds out. And it's swoon worthy how he and his family really step up - unlike her awful mother.
Quick and hot read with just enough banner and angst to make it all interesting.

Secret Baby
Mia lost her virginity at a masquerade party and ended up pregnant. Over a year later it turns out her new boss is the baby's father. The baby ends up sick and only his father can help. I enjoyed this story. I would have really liked it to be longer but it was a really good story.

He is very grumpy indeed. At first you don't want to like him but you see from his side he is right about her. It's a good he said she said story and in the end you get your HEA.

Loved this story.
You do not know what is going to happen when you start reading and I really appreciated that. Then she starts working for him and he has no clue who she is. What a surprise.

Yes she got pregnant after a one night stand
What bothered me was her language. Cannot believe a shy young woman would use the f word so liberally. Hero changed fast. Liked Dean the younger brother. I would not read this again. Proofreading errors too

I really loved this book, Normally I do not care for the whole "baby thing" in romance novels but I am so glad that I took a chance on this one. It was a really good story and was very well written! This was my first book by Olivia Pearl but it won't be my last.

It was a great plot idea, but the whole thing felt rushed, beginning to end. Probably could’ve doubled the length of the book and it would’ve made a lot more sense.

Well Written
Ash and Rye made a cute couple despite their age difference. The storyline keeps you wanting more and hoping for a HEA. It was a very enjoyable read.
