Really a 3.75. A decent end to a series I found more interesting visually than intellectually. The mysterious robot thing really goes nowhere huh? I guess it was intended to be more metaphorical, as this issue reveals, but that wasn't conveyed clearly in the earlier issues. Considering that was the aspect that worked least for me, think I'd have dismissed it more if I hadn't thought it would eventually manifest in something more sci-fi. Emotionally satisfying even if it feels like a dozen plot threads are left hanging.
I did not know what to expect when I started this series. I was pleasantly surprised that this story offered a fun and engaging yarns with twist and turn that reminds me of period drama. Some of the choice are really clever and I admire that this comic tale delivers the kind of thrill ride that reminds of a old movie.
Liked the series a lot. Four stars because it’s not the usual world I like, but found it thrilling enough to read the complete 5 issues, appreciated the twists.
Great artwork throughout, but the story was a complete letdown. For the first four volumes it was strong, and seemed to be leading to something. This ending was the definition of anticlimactic. It was predictable in the worst way, it led to nothing, and you could see it from the first page.
Me gusta que el inicio del primero y el final del último van juntos aunque ya se sabía desde el principio pero bueno me ha gustado eso. Buen final tenía duda de que pasaría pero bueno me pega más ese final que la otra opción.
The series is completed in a true fairytale ending. The duo walk away into the sunset or rather fly away. A fitting finale to the rollicking adventure. A final face-off that ends with the bigger man winning.
