This final book in the Korolev Bratva series was well worth the wait! Elia and Aleksey have been through hell and back without once stopping to try and make amends to all those they have lost. There is a lot of heartache and destruction in this series but this final book will provide you with the closure desired from their epic journey to find peace. The questions we’ve all been searching for throughout this series are resolved thankfully and you will be glad at the way their world finally finds closure. It’s not pretty at some parts and the danger/destruction is prevalent. Make sure to check out the extended epilogue as well…it is beyond worth it! Happy Reading!!
Great ending to this series! Still lots of action and adventure and their relationship moving forward in this book. Satisfying conclusion! Received an advance copy from the author.
Book 3 picks up f/book 2. Aleksey is desperate to find Elia after she’s been taken. His past has finally come back for him, & everything & one he cares about. Elia has done things I didn’t like in book 2- but she’s definitely strong & very intelligent. She saw this threat & put the pieces of the puzzle together before anyone else. Unfortunately Aleksey didn’t believe her. Their marriage has been through a lot, & watching Aleksey go back & forth w/his trust issues & constantly guessing his love for Elia & wether he still loved Svetlana was infuriating. I wanted to smack him, everything she did to him, his family, Elia & her family & putting his unborn child in danger- & he even had to question his feelings for her!!!! This was a good conclusion to Aleksey & Elia’s story. Lots of action, surprises along the way, secrets, & betrayal- but all lead to a HEA!
This trilogy came full circle. It's important for the reader to read all three novels or you won't really understand what is going on in the final book. Aleksey and Elia's story has been fraught with allot of drama/theatre but was well done. Elia has a facial scar from Svetlana which is a constant reminder of her kidnapping experience in the series as well as unseen scars a person endures when a story is full of violence often directed at her character. It's not a story for everyone, but if you are reader who enjoys Bratva story lines, that are down and dirty, unapologetic; then you will enjoy this one. The story is very complex for this genre but, all the answers to what has been plaguing Aleksey's Bratva as well as he and Elia gets answered.
Elia's character went through allot in this series and didn't always make the right decisions along the way, while Aleksey's character seemed slow on the uptake of who was behind the bloodshed and loss of life and the constant threat to he and Elia. He was hard to like at times because he ignored Elia's concerns even though she was right more than she was wrong. Trust issues played a big part in this series, making his character a douche at times.
What happened to Svetlana when she was a young woman was unforgiveable and actually made the "revenge trope" seem almost plausible in a world that is led by some men who bathe in the fact that they are monsters treating women like disposable objects. They live to torture and abuse women in heinous ways making their character disgusting.
This story has a much deeper plot than many of these novels with allot of players. Ms. Wilder did a good job to not only execute it well but brought the series full circle by books end.
Hmm, this one didn’t hit quite the same as the other two. The overall tone/vibe was off.
Aleksey no longer felt like a mafia don, he lost the hardness when it honestly should’ve made him more fierce or at least kept him the same. I’m all for the character growth Elia had but why did her husband have to suffer a blow to his character for that? They could have both been badass.
The spice scenes felt very copy-paste this time around. I even found myself just skimming once they started deepening their kisses.
Also, the whole thing with Aleksey becoming soft for she-who-will-not-be-named, pissed me right tf off. She has been controlling his life for TEN YEARS. She killed his family! And him holding her while she died? Ugh. I know, I know, she suffered for ten years but like… why’s he gotta be kind to her damn it? 😒
Lana can still get fucked. I don’t care. My apologies to Boris, though.
While I liked the update six years later in the bonus scene, it could have been apart of this book honestly. It was only a handful of pages about Aleksey, Elia and Luke. Nothing too crazy or honestly all that heartwarming, then it switched over to another story. Idk, I’m kinda bummed but still enjoyed the trilogy if that’s possible?
This was an exciting read all the way to the end! I really enjoyed all of Aleksey and Elia's story! I felt much more of a connection between them in this book, I could finally believe that they really loved each other. The one thing that stuck out to me though was Svetlana. I liked that she was looked at from all angles and that's why it bothered me that she seemed to do a 180 in personality and work with someone she would never work with. She was so ruthless and bloodthirsty with a plan 10 steps again then she just kind of gave up a little. That part was a little unbelievable for me but otherwise the story was great. It was action packed and gritty all the way through. I thought the plot was well written and entertaining. It had lots of twists and a good resolution to the problem. I loved that Elia really took charge and rose to the occasion. Aleksey was a bit of a cinnamon roll hero here as he was much softer than before, but I enjoyed seeing a sweeter Bratva Don than you usually get. This was an intense and thrilling trilogy. I really enjoyed these characters and the fight they had to go though to find themselves. I would definitely recommend it!
A fantastic finale to a brilliant trilogy this series has been a roller coaster from beginning to end, there has been deceit and lies love and hate that has taken the reader on an exceptional journey. The storyline has been riveting and the characters all brilliantly cast one could only feel for Svetlana and all she had suffered and could understand her need for vengeance but she took it too far. A great series from a brilliant author thank you for an exceptional read.
I liked Elia at the beginning, but as the series went on, she just got worse and worse and worse. Also, can we talk about Lana? Where does she get the sense of entitlement? She’s not her friend she’s friends with her to further her personal agenda in the legal world being friends with a Don’s daughter gets you so much inside information. She uses it to her advantage, and in return uses Elia.
The sex is just repetitive now and takes place at inopportune times. Sex does not solve problems. Aleksey has become a wimp, acting like a teenage boy who just started having srx. Elia becomes the strong one in the relationship as she becomes a mafia queen. Their common enemy is a psychopath while Elia's friend is a controlling witch . Story and characters becomes more weird until it ends without telling what Already does for a living after leaving the mafia life.
I loved the story line and love Elia and Aleksey. However, there were many mistakes that made have to go back and reread the chapter to see if I missed something, or if it was really a mistake. That became annoying. I also feel so sad that only two people really got an HEA in this story. The authors mind is incredible in how they thought of every detail.
What a powerful story. Twist and turns all the way through. Their love grew so strong Elia became such a warrior and an equal to her husband. Through it all you had to feel sorry for Sveltlana who had suffered so much. Alecksey and Boris should have helped her. I am so glad at the very end he took care and paid his respects to her. Are me cry at the end at all who were loss. A must read for anyone. Great story
Loved the storyline and the characters in the three books. I felt sad for Svetlana in the end. I felt glad that the real nasties didn't survive and sad for both Elia and Aleksy that both their families had been wiped out. Hope that's not a spoiler alert. I didn't leave feedback for books 1 and 2 because I went straight to the next book as I couldn't wait. Will definitely be reading more of Brook Wilder's books.
This is the third and final book in the Korolev Bratva series, please be sure to read books one and two before reading this one. Aleksey and Elia have a war on their hands and the law knocking at their door. Will they be able to come out on top? If so, at what cost? This is a great series and I highly recommend it!
Three books were too much. Also the books appeared to take away the “Pakhan’s strength and power and give it to Alia. It made her the intelligent powerful one and made him look weak, like he could not make good decisions. If he could accept her as she was why couldn’t she do the same for him.
This was the final book in this series and what started off as an arranged !marriage but had so many twists and turns and sad parts but we get our answers and a great ending, you need to read all 3 books.
This series started out well. Let just say the author should have kept it at one book. The Hero in the story turned soft, heroine stepped up I guess to makeup for the hero.
This was an absolute roller coaster. Brook, was so meticulous in her writing. How she came up with it all and worked it out was perfection. Loved this book and the series.
Honestly, I didn't read books one of two for which I'm extremely happy about because this one was horrible! I only read up to 57% and found it totally boring and the characters, who cares! Run from this book, don't waste your time! Shirley
Worlds and Slow had a rough life being threatened and kidnapped by their enemies. Slowly they were able to overcome their enemies and live in peace. They had the child they were waiting for and lived quietly and at peace with each other.
The conclusion to this trilogy will send your heart racing! Its full of suspense all the way with a sweet ending to welcome a new beginning of Alexey and Elia’s lives. I love it!
Great ending to all the drama and trauma of t the story! Great story lines ! The characters are all strong and with in the lines of the story! 5 stars must read excellence of the writer telling the story! Great job keep up the work
Oh my, my!! What a great series. I loved it. This book was a great read.. A loved how strong Alia was. she believed in Aleksey for good she saw in him. The end chapter was a tear jerker.. Keep writing..
Elia comes out full force. She became the driving force in getting them out of danger. The way he supported her was a surprised. Most Dons would never take advise from their wives.
You have to know when to wrap it up. Call it a quits. This book was so detailed that it dragged. The series could have been wrapped up in the second book.
Devouring 3 books has never been more nerve-wracking!!! 5 stars, but now I need a little rom com to bring my heart rate down and bring some light into my life. Amazing!!!
Liked the ending well enough, but not what I would call happy though because this book is just full of pain and in my opinion trauma/tragedy. But everything is 'wrapped up'.
