The men-turned-mercenaries from the now-defunct Integral Solutions Consulting are short on options. While Alex Foaly continues his search for information that will clear their names of the crimes he and his teammates didn’t commit, Morgan Tyron is still healing from the wounds he sustained during his one-man mission in the African Bush. But their efforts have come to a grinding halt thanks to a single text message.
Vinny Jensen, their friend and the third member of their group, has been captured.
With little information to go on and an all-but-nonexistent timetable, Foaly and Morgan must consolidate themselves and what little resources they have so they can rescue Vinny. They know the playbook, they know the enemy, and they know that they’re going to have to pull out all the stops to pull Vinny out of the fire.
The gloves are coming off as the mercenaries take the fight to those who tore their lives from them with the sinking of the MV Aguilar. And none of them are going to stop until their names are cleared and they kill everyone responsible, or they die trying.
All In is the sequel to Wetwork and is the third book in the Modern Mercenary Thrillers series. Written on a foundation of firsthand experience, deep-dive research and analysis, and a love of all things mercenary, All In follows characters who are willing to cross the line, and then some, to do what needs to be done. The enemy doesn’t play by the rules, so why should they?
Zach James is a veteran of the US Army and has extensive experience as a defense contractor. His love of writing was born from being introduced to thriller heavy-hitters like Tom Clancy and W.E.B Griffin at an early age. He uses his professional and academic background, along with a vivid imagination, to deliver the most realistic, hard-hitting thrillers he can.
“All In” by Indie author Zach James is the sequel to “Wetwork” and is the third book in the Modern Mercenary Thrillers series. Written on firsthand experience, intense research and analysis, and a love for covert operations, this story follows the regular characters who are willing to do all that is necessary to accomplish their objectives. Their adversaries don’t play by the rules in this book, so neither did they. The paramilitary operators-turned-mercenaries from the now-defunct Integral Solutions Consulting were short on options and time. The gloves came off in this narrative as the mercenaries took the fight to those who tore their lives apart. They knew who was responsible for ruining their consulting business and pulled out all the stops to clear their names and eliminated all those that were responsible for their demise. In this story, James exhibits his extensive defense contractor experience, again in the third installment in this rousing series. He uses his military background and knowledge, paired with a vivid imagination, to deliver ‘another’ hard-hitting, moving, and realistic action-suspense thriller. The three main characters - Alex Foaly, Morgan Tyron, and Vinny Jensen, are all formidable teammates that are admirably developed. And James does a nice job with all the action sequences as well. I really like this series and highly recommend it to military thriller readers. Another good story by Zach James.
Awful. It started ok, but got progressively worse. If the US special forces are this bad…… Nearly every time they are captured they escape only because of some unlikely chance encounter. I started skipping large portions because they had no relevance to the story. Tedious.
I have completely enjoyed reading all 3 of Zach James' books. They have the feel of someone who if, they haven't experienced it, have spoken to people who have been there and done that. If you enjoy Jack Carrs's novels, you'll like these as well. I sincerely hope that Zach James has a few more books in him!
