Beautiful story of a chance meeting and rescuing her from attackers
Alexandra was a freelance photographer who had just finished a photo shoot when she was being aggravated by a gang. Mikhail rescued her and escorted her to her car. The electrical vibes shooting off of both of them set their destiny in motion. Alexandra witnessed a kidnapping of her Russian friend Dimitri when she was in the park. The pictures she took was damaging to the Russian KGB stationed in DC. Mikhail was the captain of KGB and she recognized him when they apprehended Dimitri and she figured he was a monster and killer. Due to the damaging evidence he had to save her life and he had started to care for her and didn’t want her dead. He faked her death and they hid until he could get things in order. Great story and worth binge reading.
I really enjoyed this story, and many others by this author. However, I was extremely disappointed with the spelling and grammar errors. I don’t recall her other stories having major issues as this one. It took me longer to read because I was constantly rereading due to so many errors. But I really did enjoy this story and would still recommend it to others.
DNF 5% The first chapter was extremely hot then it goes back a week. My first issue was that they apparently go from meeting to the first chapter in the span of a week which is absurd even by erotica standards. The second part was the whole secret Russian operatives thing was not working for me. It may have just been the mood I was in.
I fully enjoyed this story. I love Piper Stone as one of my favorite authors. A good plot n great characters but the 4 stars instead of 5 was because I had to re-read many lines because it definitely needed editing. Otherwise a good Mafia book.
I enjoyed this book; this story was written in third person, which is not my favorite, but it was easy to follow; a couple of grammar mistakes, but I love Misha & Alexandra's story.
DNF at 52% I don’t know if it’s because it’s in 3rd person. Because I’m in a funk. Or because I’m just not connecting. Maybe is the combination of the three. The story had everything to be good. But it’s just not gripping. I don’t know. Maybe one day I pick it up again 🤷♀️
