My ex is stalking me, and I don’t know what he’s planning to do.
All I want to do is move on. I’m going out with friends, wearing revealing clothes, and getting my tattoo of his name covered. Worst of all, I’m seeing other men.
Nathan hates it. He doesn’t want me… but he doesn’t want anyone else to have me, either.
I don’t want to believe he’s capable of the things people are warning me about, but when he breaks into my home, I know I have to leave. Not just for myself, but for the safety of my best friend and roommate, Cora.
Luckily, my three sexy tattoo artists will do anything to keep me safe.
There’s Xavier, the burly bearded sweetheart who owns the tattoo parlor; Jackson, his blue-eyed best friend who loves the art behind his tattoos; And Adrian, the hunky bald apprentice with a dragon tattoo on his back and a complicated past.
They vow to keep me safe in the apartment above their shop. And eventually, their beds. But Nathan isn’t going to let me go that easily.
Will my three sexy bodyguards be able to keep me safe? And will I ever escape Nathan… for good?
TRIPLE TROUBLE is a scorching reverse harem romance filled with suspense, humor, and passion. HEA guaranteed!
Becca Watts writes Reverse Harem novels. She lives in Sydney, Australia, with her husband and two dogs, and frequently travels to places that inspire her stories. Her favorite things in the world are music, books, men and wine… although not always in that order.
This wasn’t a bad romance. There was some confusion here and there on some descriptions and names, but it was a good story. The guys were very good looking, who doesn’t like yummy tattooed men. As a reverse harem I’d definitely recommend this. It was a good quick read.
I loved the idea for the book but the actual book itself was rough. I was all for three hot tattoo artists and clearly so was Emma but her behavior was downright distracting and childish. Couldn’t seem to keep it in her pants for five seconds. I’m all for a smutty book but come on. Also, it’s pretty questionable how the woman experiencing relationship abuse is toeing the line of relationship abuse herself. She continued to grab Adrian’s dick while he was trying to get ready for work even after he made it clear that wasn’t going to happen. She continued to kiss Xavier thank you even though he had told her no and to use her words to say thank you instead but hey maybe third times the charm.
So much potential, poorly executed. The characters are interesting, but oddly developed. The premise is promising.
Now comes the spoilers….
Mom dies when Emma is 18, she apparently has no support system. She lives off the proceeds the mom left with no intention of getting a paying job. Essentially Emma feels like 25 or 30 years, isn’t enough time, so she’s just waiting to die. The guys are actually better written, but equally as faulty with very little background and flighty decision making.
This book is almost, but not quite there. There's something discordant in the plot and I don't feel like the time skips are used wisely. A lot of the relationship between the main lead and her three dudes is inferred over x-amount of days, and I feel like those skips really took away that development they needed for those sweet 'falling in love' moments to really pack a punch.
Sometimes I just want writers to remember that romance readers enjoy the time it takes to get to the sexual energy, or the hills and valleys of what makes a love story book fun and unique. We need those simple gifts of time and attention between two significant others, even in a reverse harem. Obviously this will add to the page number, and we are down with that!
Otherwise, back to this specific book: characteristically, she's quite whiny about a lot of stuff, and she's super judgey. Instead of diving into the emotions she's experiencing and really context cluesing the WHY, it's like she just uses her built-in 'I'm sorry' trauma to pass off her reactions to the detriment of the guys. So that can be a problematic approach for obvious reasons.
Anywho. I don't think it's a terrible story, I think it's super interesting, dynamic, and pretty well-researched. It's just the humanness of it feels OFF, and that's incredibly distracting throughout.
Coming off of an emotionally edging on physically abusive relationship that goes south, Emma turns to three physically hulking attractive tattoo artists for safety. While hiding out in their shop from her scary ex, one thing leads to another with each of them.
“Triple Threat” is a reverse-harem trope romance novel so it’s certainly not for everyone, but if that’s your thing then add this to your list. It was a quick steamy read with a lot of literary brain candy. The hunkiness did not disappoint.
I’m glad that Emma was able to find someone (or multiple someones) to be with after suffering with Nathan and that she got her happy ending.
I also really appreciated the side breast cancer awareness story in here too. Although heartbreaking, it brought light to a topic that isn’t talked about a lot in this arena.
DISCLOSURE: I received an Advanced Reader Copy for free from Hidden Gems. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was captivating and I couldn't put it down- with danger and suspense. The dangerous lurking, unstable stalker ex potentially being anywhere added a layer of tension to the story. I loved the three men- Adrian, Jackson, and Xavier- and how they stepped up to help Emma. The story had lots of steam and exciting moments. This is the first book I've read by this author and I will definitely be reading more. 5 stars
The book feels like it's almost there but doesn't quite hit the spot. A lot of time skips happen, and I feel like they take away from the relationship between their relationship.
The plot was good, but I wished there was more character development so that we could get to know the guys more.

Stalking Domestic violence Cancer Mentions of Death
Emma's ex is stealing her. She's trying to live her life, but he won't leave her alone. She goes to a tattoo shop to cover up his name and she meets 3 men that want to help her when they find out that something is wrong. Eventually, they begin wanting to be with her and she's willing to explore this relationship.
I enjoyed this book but want more sexy times than what we got. I loved the plot. We got to know the guys but not enough to connect with them in the way we should. I loved how protective they were despite Emma putting herself in dangerous situations.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.
- Tattoo Artists - Stalker - Protectors - Breast Cancer Awareness
The book revolves around a girl who just got out of a relationship. She never realized how manipulative and toxic her ex was until he continued to send her degrading text messages and began following her.
She had his name tattooed across her chest thinking they would get each others names. However, at the last second he backed out. Ready to move on from her ex she reaches out to a tattoo shop looking to get her ex’s name covered up.
She does get her tattoo covered up but she also gets 3 men who will beat the shit out of her scumbag ex to protect her.
I enjoyed this novel….it included 3 sexy tattooed men, a stalker ex-boyfriend, a spunky friend and a sheltered FMC. There was drama, suspense and sexy times! While there was not a TON of emotional depth, readers should consider that most people checking out the book are here for the same thing….men and the sex scenes and not the highly touching and emotionally charged scenes😂. 100% recommend if you like multiple hot men and a sheltered woman learning herself!
