Pretty Good Series
Overall I enjoyed this series. There were interesting aliens who turn out to be very good allies. There is an ancient species of long deceased aliens who are noted as being the creators of the human race, that also have some very cool gadgets. They also possessed incredible mind powers.
There is plenty of action throughout. Ground battles and space battles. The characters are all very interesting and well written, each with some very cool gadgets and different combat styles.
The series gives you parallels to Star Wars, with enough variation to not be a retelling. I also saw hints of Babylon 5, Stargate, Aliens, Scanners, and Star Trek.
There were a couple of down points, but not enough to take stars away. For the first three or four books, the main character seems extremely gullible and stupid, but by the end has matured drastically. But, there were quite a few forehead slappers in the first half of the series. The second down point I found incredibly annoying was how in several books from different authors where the female characters can't think about anything other than shopping. The female lead character, Kyra, has more shoes than Imelda Marcos.
I otherwise enjoyed this series a lot and I highly recommend it. I will look into the other series written by this author.

Epic
What a wonderful series to read. I was initially put off by repetition of a lot of detail until I accepted that this fitted perfectly with several of the characters personalities.
The depth of the imagination used by the author was astounding from the first to last paragraph.
The individual characters were all described and built up in minute detail. The alien characters even more so. Some parts were wittier than others but nonetheless all of the individuals, species, spacecraft and their own unique differences made them fascinating to discover!
The author's descriptive narrative always free me back to the series or kept me reading for hours after I had planned to stop.
I would highly recommend this series to any sci-fi fan!!

surprising find
I received these five books at a bargain price. After reading the first, I was hooked. Excellent writing with engaging characters who kept me coming back for more. I highly recommend this series of books to SciFi fans who enjoy a good ‘space opera’ with plenty of twists and turns, great characters who have increasing depth with each chapter. I’m glad to have gotten the opportunity to read this series.

Now he's in space. With some rather unique folks. Thus it begins Tris, Kara, Bils and Keoin wild adventures throughout the known universe.
This story will Keep you reading! Wonderful characters, action " Lots".

I dubious at the start of book one because I just couldn't see a young man plucked from his home all of a sudden becoming a badass. However, I persevered and I am so glad I did. Tyler has created loveable characters that had me laughing, crying, and caused me heart pounding adrenaline rushes. A good read once I got past my first disbelief. I can hardly wait to read the Warden's Legacy and Kyra's War series.

Wow!
Tyler Aston has come up with a complete tale of grand Science Fiction. I enjoyed reading books 1 - 5 is the box set. I completely lost myself in this epic and must confess that I was sad to have finished it in about 9 days . Kudos to the Author and high expectations for the next series. I give an honest recommendation to Science Fiction readers to spend the time with this collection. I doubt that you will be disappointed.

Addictive, absurd, science fantasy
Jump far into the future to inundated in a series of absurd adventures that combine past, present, and future to save this and other universes. Totally unbelievable, highly entertaining, extremely violent, incredibly imaginative, and captivating. So much so I read the entire series of books almost without interruption. Escapism in it's truest form.

Great read
I really liked this series. Great characters, great adventures and some really good laughs along the way. I also liked how Tyler Aston kind of tied all of the different species together....not in a treaty, but rather a collaberation.
Worth the read...I'm left wanting more.

First read from this author !
Very imaginative, good organization. Wonderful set of books to read. I don't know how the Author keeps it all straight in his head ! You'll be reading along and something unrelated you read 3 books prior suddenly comes into play. I consider this a masterpiece

This was a captivating journey that I didn’t want to end. The author’s talent for world-building is extraordinary, pulling you into a vibrant and engaging setting. The characters were well-developed, with rich backstories that made them feel real. I’m still thinking about it days later. Simply outstanding!

There only a few grammatical errors. I have to remember theauthor is from another country. I am assuming the U.K. While there seemed to be no end to the action, I could have used a little more background in the characters. Good job author.

Compelling read
This series is a joy ride from start to finish. I've never had a desire to be kidnapped from my planet to engage in cosmic battle, but after reading these books, I might entertain some new life choices. Aston has written pure space opera gold here.

I really enjoyed this book series. It was always a good read and certainly kept you entertained. I felt a little sad when I finished it. I will probably read the continuation series of books that followed. Thanks to the writer.

Great box set. Kept me entertained throughout. I enjoyed the characters and their interactions. I immediately bought the 3 book set about Kyra on her home planet.
