Rebecca Sharp always loved a good love story. Let's face it, when you include a romance novel on your 8th grade summer reading list just to see if the teacher would notice (she didn't!), she was bound to give writing one of her own a go. There's really no corner of romance that she doesn't (or wouldn't) enjoy writing, except maybe aliens, much to her husband's dismay, so her large catalog features a little something for everyone. However, her love of shows like NCIS and Criminal Minds makes her favorite stories to write the ones with some kind of suspense and crime solving.

When she's not writing, she's at her office treating patients, and somewhere between those two things, you'll find her wandering the globe with her husband always searching for their next adventure.

Oh dear lord! Dr. Rebecca Sharp tried to kill me with this book. Can you say angst? On the Edge gave me all the damn feels, made me ache so good, and was absolutely worth every second of it.

I love the sport romance trope and I usually love, love, love the heroes that come with them. So let me make this clear: I love Emmet, but he can be a total douche canoe! Seriously, I loved to hate him and yet loved to love him even more. Why? Because Rebecca Sharp is a damn genius, that’s why! Emmet is your typical sexy, alpha guy with his asshole ways and seemingly uncaring attitude, but just under that is so much more. He’s sweet, caring, and 100% swoon-worthy. Ally is also freaking amazing. I loved the way her character balances strength and vulnerability. Whatever Emmet dishes out, Ally gives it right back to him. She doesn’t fold under his strength, in fact, she matches it easily.

Together, Emmet and Ally are amazing. I loved their sparing and their unbelievable chemistry. It sizzled off of every page and had me reaching for a cold drink because... wow! These two clearly needed to be together so sometimes I wanted to smack them and tell them to get out of their own way and just be together. But it did make form some great drama and amazing sexual tension. In the end Dr. Sharp gave me the ending I needed and that these characters deserved. I also loved seeing past characters and I’m really excited to see what’s in store for the next book!

On the Edge is an addicting, sizzling, completely-unputdownable, and emotional ride that everyone must take. Dr. Rebecca Sharp has definitely brought her A-game and I can’t wait to see what more she has in store with her next book. 5 stars.

"She was heaven on my eyes and fucking hell on my heart."

On the Edge was my very first book by Rebecca Sharp, so I had no idea what I was up for and got surprised by a witty, funny, touching, hot and slow-burning lovestory.

"I was what could destroy him, but he looked at me as though his life would be worth the taste."

Ally's life got turned upside down quite a lot. So it's no wonder that she struggles with life, love and trust. Because every time things seem to go smooth, she has to deal with loss. Either permanent or uncertain. But she's strong, stronger than she gives herself credit for. And along the way she falls for Emmett, she finds her inner strength.

"I may be the King of this mountain, but don't ever mistake me for the Prince in your fairytale when I'm just the asshole in shining armor."

Emmett is the typical troubled bad boy. At the beginning he's just cocky and really likes to push Ally's buttons. If you would google a-class asshole, you'd probably find Emmett's name listed on top. But along the war he's fighting with Ally - and most important with himself - he shows us, that there is so much more to him. And we all know, if you are not able to love yourself or admit that you are worth to be loved, you have trouble to love someone else.

"I never asked for a prince. Tonight, I ordered dark and stormy."

Emmett and Ally's attraction let the sparks fly of the pages since their first encounter. However, the chemistry was not off the charts as I expected it to be after they first met. Only as the story unfolds, the chemistry grows along the way.

"I hate what you do to me." "And what's that?" ... "You keep me on the edge of having everything that I want."

Rebecca found a good way to balance the witty and hot encounters with the more troubled and sensitive sites of the characters. I really enjoyed reading the story about how Emmett's hard shell softens even melts under Ally's sunshine and how Ally learns that life will always grant you another chance on love. And that no love is like the other.

"But this was us - we ran before we walked, hated before we loved, forgave before we fought. Maybe it wasn't right, but it definitely wasn't wrong."

On the Edge has you right there, through the whole book, on the edge. Never knowing in what directions things will turn. But one thing you can say about this book, clear as the bright sunshine: On the Edge or another way of saying 19 things I hate about you.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I have been waiting rather impatiently for this book. It is the second book in the “Winter Games” Series by Dr. Rebecca Sharp and can be read as a standalone but do yourself a favor and start at the beginning to get the whole devastating experience.
The plotlines overlap a little bit, so you will get certain scenes that you already know from the first book from a different perspective, but honestly, it doesn’t matter. You learn so much about Emmet and Ally, it’s awesome!
Like the first one, this book had me in its fangs from the first page on. It sucked me in the darkness and Ally’s scenes were the only light that I had while reading. I kid you not, Emmet’s darkness was almost overwhelming and I was kept on the edge (see what I did here? :D ) till the end to see, if Ally would be able to pull him out.
While the first book had this pressuring sadness and loneliness in this one it was the darkness that coated everything. Every action was tainted, every scene was painted black and yet, I would recommend this book to each and everyone! I loved loved loved how the plot unraveled, secrets were told and bombs detonated all the while the characters grew with the obstacles thrown in their way. In the end I shed some tears. Not as much as I shed while reading the first book, but enough.
I absolutely cannot wait for the next book, because we got so many glimpses and hints on something way bigger than I ever expected, that I NEED to know where this series will end and if everyone will get their HEA. I hope so, but I have the dark dark feeling that someone will be left out.
This book will definitely get a spot in my TB book shelf next to the first one!

I love The King of the Mountain

I honestly don't think I have anticipated a book more than I did with On The Edge! I love the SnowmassHoles and couldn't and can't wait to get into each of their heads.

On The Edge features the King of the Mountain, Emmett, and the youngest Ryder, Ally. It was an absolute stay up all night and finish read for me, who needs sleep anyway.

Right from the very first words I was ensnared into this amazing angst filled story of heartbreak, loss, and redemption. It's such a beautiful ride down that mountain of emotions. I highly reccomend this book, this series, and this author!

First off, let's say we are really loving this snowboarding sports romance series. We never have really read a lot of sports romance books but, after reading this series, we are going to add more romances like these to our repertoire. I loved this current read, and we are so loving this series this story had an amazing cast of character's and tons of drama, romance, action, adventure, forgiveness, loss and a lot of alpha hotness along with tons of chemistry and a cat and mouse game that lasted for years.

Ally-We loved her as she was sweet, kind, loving, and had a great sense of humor, suffered loss, and loved hard and lit up a room anytime she entered it.

Favorite quote - "My Swashbuckling Sunshine."

Emmett-Emmett was a total Alpha A-hole who was sexy as sin, dark and dangerous, talented, suffered unbelievable pain and lose, and one who had many regrets, so much so that he carried his demons around for years.

Emmett and Ally played a cat a mouse game for several years partly do to Emmett's hangups and emotional crap but, his and Ally's attraction and chemistry never waned. These two were totally hot together in and out of bed.

The story had a ton of drama as both characters were working through things and relearning how to let go of the past. The character's so call courtship was volatile and rocky but, it was a lot of fun with them snipping at one another and trying to make each other jealous, which made for a ton of laughs. The story has a lot of hotness, romance, really hot sex in the most usual places with a great cast of friends that were engaging and that had a family that was a little overbearing at times and a character like Emmett that you really wanted to despise but, can't help but love him.

Overall, the read was a lot of fun that had a great plot that kept you engaged to the very end. The story kept you on edge a little bit as Emmett's personality was so volatile and a little bit dark and dangerous and a bully at times he could be a little overwhelming but, once we got to know him as we turned the pages all of these things about him started making sense, and it was going to take a little bit of sunshine to thaw out that frozen heart of his. This was an awesome read for us, and we loved it! This was a great addition to this ongoing series.

Recommended read to all.

This is my first read by this author. She did a fantastic job grabbing my attention and wanting to learn more about these characters. This is the second book of the series but I had no trouble reading it without reading the first one.

Emmett......sigh.... I am a sucker for the broken hero. Such an a$$ to everyone. He is tolerated. His one night stands love him. His best friends know some of his secrets. But, man, are his walls up high. He doesn't want anyone to get to the the good, squishy stuff hiding deep inside. He is bound and determined to keep his best friends baby sister, Ally, outside of his toxic bubble. He pours on the a$$ho!@ anytime he is around her. Their chemistry is off the charts!

Ally has her own demons to conquer but she is so intrigued and and the same time disgusted by Emmett. It's a continual push-pull, angst filled relationship with these two. Emmett calls Ally Sunshine. In the end, can she be enough to bring out his darkness??

Interesting flow to the story. Flash back mixed with present day. I'm not sure I would have handled things that way vs a straight timeline. But, it reads well. Lots of emotion. Way hot chemistry with these two. Great secondary characters. Overall, a great story.

Angst junkies - listen up! You will not want to miss out on this deliciously frustrating, sinfully sexy, emotionally wrought angst-a-palooza. On the Edge was a completely addictive read, even when it hurt to read (and it did sometimes hurt to read). I couldn't put it down and as Dr. Sharp toyed and twisted all my feels into a sort of gaspy, sobby mess in the end - I would 100% do it all over again, with relish.

This book gave me serious Jamie McGuire/Travis Maddox vibes. I haven't read something that had me so twisted up inside - loving to hate it and hating to love it - since that book. Emmett "King" Jameson is the kind of surly alpha hero who is just the right side of unlikeable. I almost wanted to not like him, but the brilliance in the writing here is that it was impossible to dislike him. In fact, it truly was easy to love him, even when he was behaving in a way that seemed completely unlovable. The soft underbelly on this prickly hero comes in very small doses - which seemed to make them even sweeter, more addictive, and 100% more rewarding when it was finally revealed in all its swoonworthy glory.

Part of what makes Emmett work so well is that Ally Ryder is no wilting violet. She gives as good as she gets, and while we see a lot more vulnerability from her throughout the story, she also shows an incredible amount of backbone and a heart as big as the world. It was impossible not to like her. She may be the reason that Emmett stays the right side of unlikable. She has her own share of drama and angst, but as far as heroines go - she was a delight to read.

As I mentioned, there's definitely a fair amount of angst in their story. At times it was uncomfortable to read. At times I was frustrated by how they kept getting in their own way. Sometimes I wanted more softness from Emmett. Sometimes I wanted more fire from Ally. However, in the end - I was supremely happy with how things played out. The chemistry between Emmett and Ally is completely on-point (and your Kindle is on incineration warning), and honestly - even when it was uncomfortable to read, I was never able to put the book down.

On the Edge works fine as a standalone (it's the first book I've read in the series, after all), but I do sort of wish I'd started with the first book as there's a bit of overlap in the storylines and I loved these characters enough to want to know how that first story played out, exactly. That said - I clearly had no trouble connecting with this story or these characters, so reading Up in the Air first is not required at all. In the end, I was hopelessly addicted to Ally and Emmett's story. It's a little thrilling, a little scintillating, and a whole lot of messy emotions wrapped up in one completely satisfying package. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little afraid of what Dr. Sharp has in store for my heart with Chance's story - but I'm addicted now, and so definitely am on board no matter what! ~ Shelly, 4 "Dark & Stormy" Stars

I went into this read with serious high expectation after reading Up in the Air and even with these high expectations On the Edge blew me up out of the water and down the snowy slopes of the Mountain. Honestly the only complaint was that I wanted more Channing and Wyatt, but that’s just because I’m still obsessed with their story from Up in the Air.

Everything about Emmett and Ally was perfection. Enemies to Lovers, this slow teasing burn had me on the edge of my seat. As a self proclaimed and disputed by no one, Emmett is the “King” A-hole for a reason. So freaking infuriating at times and yet I couldn’t help but love him and also want to smack him. With a backstory full of personal issues you learn to understand why he acts the way he does and will love him too.

Overall my favorite thing about how this author writes, is the way that she creates a strong female that is still feminine and vulnerable. Considering how unbendable Emmett is it would take a strong woman to loosen him up, however Ally rises to the challenge. With her own hardships in the past it makes sense why Ally would hide them away, hide behind the fear of losing someone she cares about, so opening herself up again is a wonderful journey of fear, heartbreak, and love.

Watching these two strong and *cough* stubborn *cough* characters battle what they feel for each other is so freaking fun. Obviously the more we are given from this world on the big mountain, the better it gets. I can only impatiently wait for what comes next!

On the Edge is installment two in the Winter Games series by Dr. Rebecca Sharp. This is my first read by Dr. Rebecca Sharp and I was not disappointed. There are so many emotions within this book and I could not put it down.

Ally moves back to Aspen to be with her twin siblings after the loss of her boyfriend. When she meets Emmett, she is not prepared for the way she feels about him. Will she lower her walls and let him in?

Emmett is best friends with Ally’s brother which makes her off limits. Emmett is also anything but good, he is a total player, does not date, and does drugs. Emmett will basically do anything to forget Ally but as always, it is easier said than done.

Emmett is a douche canoe at first but the chemistry between him and Ally is remarkable. I was engrossed while reading this book and totally ignored my house cleaning.

On the Edge is the second book of the Winter Games series. It can be read perfectly as a standalone.

Ally is a young woman who decides to leave Florida and move in with her older siblings who are both snowboarders. Her first night there, she’s struck by Emmett, who is just as fascinated by her. Emmett is a delicious dirty talker, and almost an anti-hero. He’s an alpha-hole, but has an unwilling charm that drew me in and made me understand Ally wanting him. They both have demons in their past, and they open each other up in ways no one else can pry out of them.

On The Edge was a long book. It was paced on the slow side, but the characters needed it to be that way. This book is well written with a nicely developed plot. I’m really looking forward to reading Chance and Nick’s
stories.

Great sequel!

I liked this book better than the first one, which is rare. Emmett and Ally have amazing chemistry and they're so explosive together. They were both guarding their hearts because of things in their past. I love the enemies to lovers idea also. He's such a sick, but then you get to see inside his head and all that he's been through. I liked that she was his sunshine, who brought him out of the dark. It was well written and the romance was so good. I will be (im)patiently waiting for Chance's story next!

4.5 EXPLOSIVE Stars!

“We taunted each other with the desire we’d never admit to –a desire that we were forever on the edge of being engulfed by.”

On the Edge by Dr. Rebecca Sharp was my first experience with her storytelling, and her beautiful words floored me with an avalanche of emotions I wasn’t expecting. Ally and Emmett’s story had everything I love in an enemies-to-lovers, best friend’s sibling romance. I couldn’t put it down and any time I wasn’t reading, I wished I was. I was totally addicted to their angst-filled, explosive relationship.

“Massive. Magnetic. Looking at him twisted and tangled everything inside of me, energy flaring and desire flashing off of me like radiation, melting me to my core.”

Emmett is one of those characters that kept me on the edge of my seat—one I wanted to dislike at times. He’s arrogant, turns to one-night stands, and alcohol to cover up his demons and desire for Ally. But, what I loved most about him was his broken pieces. He was someone who thought he was undeserving of love, or to have someone as special as Ally to call his own.

“Explosive chemistry. That was the crux of the problem between Emmett and me. What we had could light up the whole damn sky. And it could destroy the world in the very same second.“

Ally Ryder—I loved her from the beginning. She’s softness and light compared to Emmett. With the push and pull of their hearts, he brought a fire out in her that I loved to witness. And with a past just as heartbreaking, it was nearly impossible to not fall in love with her or these two together.

“Have you forgotten, sunshine, how your body rises and sets beneath my hands? No. I would have sooner forgotten how to walk.”

Giving this new-to-me author a chance with this book ended my April on a high note. Her writing was almost poetic, keeping me captive to this story. It was a beautiful angst-filled, steamy, heartbreaking love story about redemption and taking what you want. I couldn’t get enough of it!

I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the tropes of enemies-to-lovers, or best friend’s sibling in a heartbeat.

This book just saved me from a crazy week old book funk. Deciding to give this book a go was one of my best decisions this week. lol. this is such a book treat for just a lot of awesome reasons.

First, this has my favorite trope, the older brother’s best friend, a story of just enough kind of illicit going on. Saying so, with this kind of trope, I focus on how the hero, Emmett Jameson, will work on the major conflicts being the best friend and keeping a relationship. I love how it all went, I love how he tried to keep on the friendship considering how he is known for, and I love how he put himself in the life of Ally Ryder, even if at times it gave me the whiplash. Just like Ally, there were points were I would like to punch Emmett in the face and kiss him something fierce all at the same time. Yes, that good is the angst.

Second, it’s pretty interesting how the characters developed, both Emmett and Ally. The past of both characters definitely shaped how their story went from the banter, the attraction, the push and pull, and the seduction. Emmett is one of the best friends of Chance who happens to be a brother of Ally (and Channing from the first book in the series, Up in the Air), he is broken and angry but oh so sexy. Ally is also running from a past, something she and Emmett have in common. What I love about Ally is she keeps her actions as rational as possible and never did she became a doormat, ever. yes, it’s a pet peeve for me. lol. All through the book, these characters developed and healed in the pace that a reader like me, prefers, nothing feels rushed.

Thirdly, the secondary characters are all so good you’d want to send the author multiple messages to write and hurry up coming up with their own books.

Fourthly, the sexual chemistry and the steamy levelsssss of this book is just wow. Ahhhh, Emmett you dreamboat you!

So there, if you’re a fan of cutting through sexual tension, coupled with angst and a story that devastate at the same time keeps you on the edge, yes pun intended, then get a copy of this.

Wow!!! The sexual tension doesn’t just crackle in this book...it threatens to explode. Ally is returning home to Colorado to be with her brother and sister. She has spent many years living in Florida, but she needs the support of her family right now. She has suffered a devastating loss, and she needs to be somewhere that she isn’t surrounded by memories that threaten to drown her.

Emmett has baggage of his own...family issues and secrets. He is also several years older than Ally, but when he meets her, she gets under his skin like no one has before. But, she is off limits. She is the little sister of his best friend, but no matter how hard he tries, Ally keeps invading his thoughts.

When these two meet for the first time, they are both thrown off kilter, feeling things neither has felt for anyone else EVER!!!! However, with the powerful attraction is a lot of snark between them. Ally has never met someone whom she wants to kiss and then in the next instant, punch. And, he can’t decide whether he wants to pull her close or push her away. Ally has even started a diary detailing the reasons she hates him. Sharp definitely knows how to use sexual chemistry to her advantage. I just kept hoping these two would finally get on the same page. If two people ever deserved a happy ever after, it was these two.

The synopsis doesn’t even brush the surface of the depth of this book. It is a romance with depth and emotion. I really like the fact that in the last chapter Sharp sets up the next book which will be Chance’s book. I can’t wait to read that one. I think he is going to have quite a story to tell us.

I could not put this book down! When I first started reading it, I wasn’t sure if it was the book for me or not, but I quickly changed my mind! I have not read the first book in the Winter Games series, but had no trouble following along. I didn’t feel as if I were missing anything, so while this may be the second book in the series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone.
Ally, moved from sunny Florida to Colorado to live in her family home with her older twins. She needed to get away from her former life, and the suffocating sympathy of everyone around her. There she meets Emmett, who takes it upon himself to be her knight-in-shining asshole. He is everywhere, and feels the need to protect her, especially after her brother disappears without any explanation.
Both Emmett and Ally are extremely complex characters. Ally has experienced great loss, and has a huge fear of abandonment. Emmett, also no stranger to loss, believes that he is defined by the darkness inside of him and is undeserving of love - from anyone. Ally is the light to his darkness, but he cannot accept it. Both have incredible walls built up to protect themselves.
I loved Emmett’s character, more than I can tell you! Yes, he’s a complete and total jerk; however, all I saw was a scared little boy screaming out for someone to redeem him and show him what love is.
I laughed non-stop at the banter between Emmett and Ally. They continually battle with words and the caustic wit between the two of them is nothing short of hysterical. I also cried, a lot.
This story is told from rapidly changing perspectives - back and forth between Ally and Emmett, which I don’t normally prefer; however, the author makes it work well, and instead of being a distraction, she ties it all together.
This is a must-read, especially if you like angsty romance, caustic wit, and a HEA! I know I will be reading more from Dr. Rebecca Sharp!

I'm a HUGE sports fan so On the Edge was right up my alley on so many fronts. And Rebecca Sharp definitely nailed it with her talented writing style, not to mention that she almost KILLED ME DEAD with the over the top angst, that I'm still emotional long after every word was devoured. I'm full of so many mixed emotions when it came to the hero, Emmett, who was a total douche for a lot of the story, that I'm still feeling residual anger towards him. It's not that he didn't have a heart buried under his douchey ways, because he did, he just didn't always let it shine through. But Ally, the heroine, I absolutely loved so much, and thankfully, she gave his alpha ego a run for his money, although he did hurt her feelings (not that she would let him know that), and for that, I wanted to junk punch him, as I'm #TEAMALLY 100%! Of course, together their chemistry is perfect, so sexy times in between the sparring interactions lit the sheets on fire, so the push & pull was frustrating like crazy, and I wanted to come through the pages to shake some sense into them at times. Yeah, I know, I'm a absolute up & down mess of my own, but this author wrote an amazing story that was an emotional roller coaster ride like a boss, so it's become my favorite to date! I'm super excited to see what she hits me with next, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

On The Edge hits all the marks of a romance between a broody, surly, tortured and damaged hero who doesn’t believe he deserves to be loved, and the sweet girl who proves him wrong. In this case, it’s his best friend’s little sister who is the object of Emmett’s affection, so there is a double trope here. Ally is hiding some secrets of her own, and has major issues when it comes to feeling like she’s being left behind, so this story is full of angst as she and Emmett waffle back and forth. Man, I just wanted to smack some sense into the guy for being such a “Snowmasshole”!!

The core of the story was great, but I felt like the storytelling itself was a bit clunky. The transitions between past and present weren’t very smooth, and there are a lot of references to events in the other book of this series that were kind of toss-always when I felt like I needed more explained. Especially since the stories seem to be happening concurrently. So for that, I didn’t feel that On The Edge was a true standalone.

But if you are looking for an angst-filled romance with a couple who are constantly riding the edge of being something more, something greater, then this story is a perfect read for you!

After reading the first novel in the series, there was no doubt that I would love this one! On the Edge will have you wanting more with each click of your kindle. Ally and Emmett's love is forbidden, and their stories are messy and dark, which makes this read all the more captivating.

Although it can be read as a standalone, I think there is a huge benefit to starting with the first novel in the series. Up in the Air focuses on Ally's sister Channing but the from reading the first novel the reader is able to connect with Ally and Emmett on a deeper level.

I've definitely found a new favorite author in Dr. Rebecca Sharp, especially because she believes in the magic of happily ever after's!

Love this novel. Love this series. Love this author. Definitely a MUST read.

Can't wait to find out more about the remaining Snowmassholes!

Emmett has been covering himself in a type of dark shame for most of his life. With a past that not many in his circle could relate to, he refuses to let anyone in, preferring his darkness until a bright light by the name of Ally turns up, threatening the existence he was already accustomed to.

This is one of the best enemies-to-lovers, brother's-best-friend, forbidden love tropes that I've read in awhile. It's full of heat, passion & frustration. It does, literally keep you on the edge, wondering what crude thing Emmett would say next to push Ally away, or if Ally would finally be able to convince Emmett that she burned only for him.

I definitely have to keep up with this series to the end. The preview to the next couple is all kinds of hot and crazy.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

On the Edge is about Ally and Emmett. Ally had gone through devastating emotional trauma and moved to be closer to her brother and sister. She hates for people to leave her, abandonment shuts her down. She meets Emmett. But she's met him before when she was younger. He is her brother, Chance's best friend. They're older than Ally. Sparks fly. They want what they can't have or shouldn't have. Coping with loss, Emmett and Ally try and figure out what is important and if they are deserving of each other or not. I liked this story a lot. I am really interested in seeing the next book with Chance. Definitely recommend this.

Emmett and Ally were explosive on every level.
This story was very different and I am pleasantly surprised. They don't start off on the best terms, quite the opposite actually but you soon find out that that's what Emmett created just to try to stay away from her. He adores Ally right from the beginning but because of his friend he handles it terribly and tries everything to push her away. The heart wants what the heart wants and when push comes to shove Ally sees that for herself and that Emmett isn't really a bad guy, but quite amazing, just hurt and angry and full of emotions that he needs to deal with to have his sunshine back.
Ally is like a storm all on her own. She is in pain and not dealing great with it but she sees through Emmett and gets to the heart of him and loves him and helps him.
In essence, she is his sunshine. His bright light that he needs to survive. He adores her completely and she him, after a lot of heartache that is.
I love this story as much as Up in the Air. They are so different but amazing. My heart ached for them both. They were both beautiful but slightly marred.
Love always finds a way.

4.5 Stars - This was my first book by Dr. Rebecca Sharp & it was a memorable one. I love it when broken people are able to help each other become whole again. The way Emmett and Ally walked the fine line between loathing each other and needing each other like air to breathe, kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting for the moment their relationship tipped. The way the author jumped around in time got me a bit discombobulated at times, but I enjoyed seeing all of the important moments in their relationship. Also, the characters were top notch, and I especially enjoyed the friendship between Ally, Tammy, and Jessa. Showing women who fully support each other is important and these three women set a fantastic example to follow. I’m excited to see whose story is next.

This has got to be one of the BEST books I have read this year.
Rebecca's writing is Beautiful and poetic and it took me on one of the most emotionally, angsty, compelling roller-coaster rides I have ever been on.
I was totally swept away and under the spell by Emmett and Ally's story it grabbed me by the heart and didn't let go until the end.
Broken bad boy Emmett stole my heart, I fell in Love with all his moody, Alpha ways, but he did frustrate me because I just wanted to hug him and shake him at the same time. Ally had her own secret heartbreak and they were drawn to eachother by an invisible magnetic force. A chemistry so powerful it could cause an avalanche when they are together, for Ally there is a fine line between Love and hate when it came to Emmett.
Alls I can really say is that I absolutely Loved this book and I would suggest that everyone to go and one click On The Edge without hesitation, you will not regret it.
Rebecca has gained a new fan and I am so glad I discovered her work.
It deserves more than 5 stars. A phenomenonal must, must, must read.

I finished this book yesterday, and I still don't know how to review it.
I CAN tell you it is one of the best books I have read this year.
Typically when I read the first book in a serious I dub that couple my favorite and don't care to read the companions. I figured this would happen with this book too. I WAS WRONG.
I freaking LOVE Emmett and Ally. I love their characters and their sass when they are together. I want more of them!
Also a side note: Ally's bday had me feeling so many emotions omg

This book has all my favorites, sports romances, Best friends little sisters, and angst! This book was great. Ally is escaping her grief and going back to Colorado to live with her older twin siblings. Emmett is living life by never having relationships and being a cocky jerk to everyone. When the two meet, the fireworks are off the charts, but there’s a fine line between love and hate, and this book rides it the entire way through. Do yourself a favor and one click ASAP.
