very basic introduction

I was expecting more detail but it does cover an overall basics of crafts. It refers the history of some crafts over time. There are some common terms and material used as an introduction to crafting. At the end of book, the author does refer you to several of her other books which I’m guessing are more detailed and focused.

This book has chapters about different types of crafts, textile, stone, functional crafts, ceramics, needlework, wood, flower, paper, fashion , leath, and so much more.
An intro chapter about making mistkaes for crafters when they first start a new one.
how to save money. There are color photos also.
Very basic book about what crafts are out there. There are no tecniques discussed, just general ideas. other books by the author are highlighted at the end.

Or wanted. This book tells you about various crafts, with hints on
setting up craft areas and supplies, I was looking for patterns and ideas.

Just describes various crafts and promotes their other books (all equally useless). No instructions or creative ideas on how to actually make something. Totally generic. Clearly written by AI. I'm annoyed I was fooled!

Basic knowledge that you can Google. The book is a plug to the authors other books. Not for me. It doesn't teach you anything
