The Long Awaited Exciting Conclusion to the Guardians of the Saints Series!
A powerful ending to a series you're not going to want to miss! When Angels Rejoice is the stunning end to the Guardians of the Saints series that will have you biting your nails until the last page. --Michelle Griep, Christy award-winning author of Lost in Darkness
Everything Thomas Benton ever wanted is finally within his reach. As Vice-Regent in the New World Faith Union, he is two steps beneath the spiritual adviser to Premier Immu Aali, the leader of the world. He has wealth, power, prestige and any pleasure he wishes. But memories of his best friend’s execution haunt him day and night. Why does he care? His job has been to eradicate all Deviants from the planet, and he’s been good at it...until one fateful day when he’s assigned to either break or execute a particularly powerful Deviant, the only woman he has ever loved.
Tori Griffin can hardly believe her high-school sweetheart has been ordered to send her to the guillotine. Not that she isn’t ready to die for her Lord, but she still has work to do, saints to protect, souls to save…especially Thomas, who still has a place in her mind, if not her heart.
When the couple is forced to run from the authorities, Tori isn’t sure that Thomas can be trusted. Yet with God’s guidance, she leads a rag-tag group of saints through a world devastated by more evil and wickedness than she’s ever seen. Angels surround them, protecting and cheering them on, as Tori must pass several tests to fulfill her mission. In the end, however, Thomas will be faced with the greatest test of all.

Book three in the Guardians of the Saints series takes place after the Rapture and a few years into the Tribulation. Thomas Benton has risen to a high rank in the government and is quite pleased with himself and his accomplishments. Thomas is tasked with interrogating a deviant who says she will only speak to him. As he enters the interrogation room Thomas is met with a blast from his past, Tori Williams, and suddenly his life is turned upside down. Now Thomas has to decide if he's willing to give up everything he owns for a woman he used to care about or if he's ready to watch her die. In my opinion it can be read as a standalone but the other two books really complete the amazing story. It is a spectacular read!
The adjectives I think of when describing WHEN ANGELS REJOICE by MaryLu Tyndall are thought-provoking, anxiousness, intensity, and excitement, just to list a few. MaryLu does an exceptional job of thrusting us into the middle of the tribulation and giving us a rendition of what that time in history might look like. With a cast of characters, you both cheer for and despise, WHEN ANGELS REJOICE takes you on an emotional journey that you won’t soon forget.
Vice Regent in the New World Faith Organization, Thomas Benton feels on top of the world. He’s got a beautiful mansion, a sleek Sports car, and a dream job with his sights set on moving even higher up the ladder. Though the memory of his friend’s execution continues to haunt him, he doesn’t allow anything to distract him from his goal. That is until he is tasked with interviewing and converting a high-level Deviant. It’s not a favorite part of his job, but he is good at it, until he comes face to face with Tori Griffin; the only woman he’s ever loved.
Tori Griffin is not just any ordinary Deviant. She has information regarding a resistance group helping others avoid detection and execution. Tori refuses to volunteer any info and is prepared to die for her cause, but there is one more person she hopes to convert before she faces her demise.
The minute Thomas and Tori are together, you feel the intensity of attraction. Even though they are polar opposites in their convictions, their love for each other makes them desperate to save the other from the “lie” of their belief system. Thomas risks everything to have enough time with Tori and show her the errors of her beliefs, while Tori persuades Thomas to embark on a journey that will prove what he’s been conditioned to believe is all a lie.
The intensity of this novel is no joke! This fiction interpretation of end times is so masterfully written you can’t help but wonder how close a portrayal it is to what the future might look like. MaryLu shows how easily the non-Christian will believe the lies handed down by the government and how the Christian will be unable to function under the reign of a one-world hierarchy. We also get a glimpse into the spiritual warfare that happens through the eyes of guardian angels. There are several secondary characters that stand on each side of the great spiritual divide. Some will hold to their convictions while others will fall away.
Though Ms. Tyndall takes creative license in her depictions, each chapter starts with a Biblical reference that speaks of the very situation that follows in that chapter. MaryLu does not write in broad strokes with a fanciful imagination. It is obvious a tremendous amount of research went into the writing of WHEN ANGELS REJOICE.
I highly recommend this series. However, even though it is fiction and entertaining, be prepared to face some unsettling truths and thought-provoking scenarios.
Though I received an advance copy of this novel from the publisher, it did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow! What a stunning end to this series! With this whole series, you will be amazed by the depth and imagery MaryLu Tyndall has written. She brings a very real depiction of what the Bible says, in such a way that it makes you wonder and challenges your beliefs. You can tell she has done much research and studying of this passage from the Bible. I know this is a fictional book and yet, it was written in such a way that it has changed the way I see things. I know I will forever be claiming Jesus’ name and calling out to Him. I’ll also be aware of the spiritual battles that are going on around me. As for the book, I loved how the characters in this story battled their own self-doubts and how, when they turned those doubts over to Jesus, He helped them overcome their issues. Isn’t this something we all desire help with? I also appreciated that this author included passages from Revelations to help us better understand what we were reading and to connect what is in the Bible and this fictional story. MaryLu Tyndall is an author I’ve read before but most of the stories have been of pirates, shipwrecks, and such, so this is definitely a change. I love her style of writing. All her stories flow with so much imagery and color. The dialogues between characters are smooth and move the story along. If you love books about the end-times, suspense/romance, angles, demons, and spiritual battles, then this is the book you need to pick up and read! I hope you do, it just might stretch your faith and what you believe, as well as change your life! I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow, what an intense story. If you want to know what could happen during what the Bible calls the “end times” MaryLu’s last book in the trilogy of the “Guardian of the Saints” is fascinating. It’s exciting and you feel like you’re walking through the last days of the Tribulation before Jesus returns to earth. It does help to read When Angels Cry and When Angels Battle first so you can follow the same characters through to the end, but you don’t have to. It’s still an amazing story.
MaryLu has such a good understanding of scripture that her story follows Biblical truths, and it is an encouragement to re-read the book of Revelation if you haven’t read it in a while. Her knowledge of current events combined with scripture gives an amazing Biblical world view of things. I love how she shows the importance of depending on the Lord through the thoughts and emotions of her characters. And, for people who don’t believe that there are evil spirits, they need to read how many times Jesus cast out evil spirits from people in the Bible. They are still around, and we still need Jesus’ power and strength. I love how MaryLu shows her characters depending on the Lord and reaching out for His help against the evil ones.
I love MaryLu’s books and how she always includes God’s truths throughout. I highly recommend reading When Angels Rejoice.
I am a big fan of reading dystopian-type novels. These novels aren't just dystopian, they're grounded in biblical truth and are what could really happen! And the conclusion focuses on Thomas - oh, Thomas, whom we met in the first book for the first time. I had definitely wondered about Thomas throughout the trilogy, since, as we saw, he had an angel guarding him, despite his distressing lifestyle.
She pulls back the curtain into the spiritual dimension, and we glimpse the battles firsthand and root and cheer for the angels that fight for the humans. They're each as exciting as the last.
The books make me aware of how close we could be to the Christian's versions of the End Times. While being entertaining and fun, they are also very scriptural and grounded in truth, as this wonderful author seeks to share the Truth of the Lord Jesus to those around her, who will read her books.
I highly recommend this book. You don't feel like you've wasted your time after reading it, you feel uplifted and inspired. If you've read the others, you'll be satisifed by this one. If you haven't read the others, start there! You won't regret it, and you'll probably become a huge fan of MaryLu Tyndall books.
I received a free copy of the book from the author but it did not influence my review.
This thrilling conclusion to the Guardians of the Saints series depicts the events of Revelation in a way that is both unique and realistic, based firmly on Scripture. The actions, emotions, and faith of the characters has encouraged my own faith and re-opened my eyes to the very real spiritual battle occurring around us daily.
Thomas and Tori are strong characters that each have their motivations and desires that, at times, contradicted others' goals. The way that Tyndall intertwined these characters to be realistic in the face of the most challenging times and to face their own weaknesses in the face of the Gospel was beautiful. This novel grabbed hold of my heartstrings and tugged on them as I rooted for them and felt God's love pour out from these pages, even though it's a fictional story!
I highly recommend this book (and series!) to anyone who is looking for a story of faith, love, and hope in the darkest of times.
I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions of this novel are my own.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and the concluding book was no less enjoyable than the first two! Marylu creates a very realistic end of the end times scenario which draws the reader in from the first page to the end. I just didn’t want the story to end!
The characters are easy to identify with and I believe that most people will relate to one or more, with having these personality types in their circle of influence. In her writing Marylu knows where to add detail and where to leave room for the readers’ interpretation and personal biblical knowledge.
That being said I believe these tomes are and will continue to be (after the rapture) excellent tools of witness and spreading the gospel…which I believe is her primary goal.
I will not go into an outline of the plot or the characters; please read below for that. Better yet, pick up a Holy Bible and read for yourself what, is carved in stone as it were, will happen very soon. After you do that then buckle up and read her books.
I received an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
How Does God Use a Past 💞, to Draw a Highly Placed Government Official To Salvation?
If you're at all interested in what the End Of The World will be like? You NEED to 📖 MaryLu Tyndall's "Guardians of the Saints" Series! It stays True to Biblical, Prophetic Scriptures, about The Tribulation. "When Angels Rejoice", is the 3rd & Final 📕 in the Series.
God promises that His Word will not return void (Isaiah 55: 11). This is True during The Great Tribulation (the last 3.5 yrs of The Tribulation). This is true despite repeated Disasters 😱, devastating the world. Jesus message of Salvation, can reach the most heinous🤯 person's Heart. See how MT masterfully weaves this Truth throughout this Action/Adventure!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND You 📖, this Stupendous, Enthralling, Poignant 💎 Immediately! I'm also 🙏 ing it (and the whole Series) will have as Great an impact on the world, as the "Left Behind" Series, by LaHaye and Jenkins did/does! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I enjoyed reading these books. I am thankful to have read the truth as written in the Holy Bible. I am thankful that I will be ruptured before all the evils tastefully written in the final two books of this three book series.
You might be asking the question of what is real about the story. All I can say is ask God in prayer to reveal His truth as it is written in the Holy Scriptures of the Bible. Reading these books and knowing the Scriptural truth really is a blessing.
I especially liked the fact that not everyone is going to Heaven as evidenced through Thomas. I believe MaryLu was very clear as she described the process of accepting Jesus. Thank you MaryLu.
My prayer is that you will accept Jesus as your Saviour. He is real and the evil described is real.
I loved this book, it was a wonderful ending to the trilogy. It is wonderful that the author uses scriptures to guide her story. When Angels Rejoice is a powerful and moving story that will keep you on the edge of your seat to see how it ends. One of the most impactful parts of the story is when they travel to Atlanta and see rows upon rows of Christian hanging on a cross. I like that the author was realistic in that not everyone would be saved or go to heaven, and that God wants the best for us all. That he places guardian angels with us to protect us when we cry out to God. I enjoyed seeing how Tori and Thomas are tested throughout the story, so that their faith in Christ could grow.
This is a great series challenging to follow Christ
It was well written and thought provocating of the power of faith in Jesus in good and dark times. I appreciate that you took The book profoundly explores the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ, offering a compelling narrative that illuminates spiritual resilience during both joyous and challenging life moments. The author's thoughtful approach provides a deeply moving account of spiritual connection, culminating in a poignant depiction of a heavenly reunion that powerfully illustrates Jesus's ultimate calling to those who remain steadfast in their devotion throughout life's trials and tribulations. time and shared a reunion in Heaven and Jesus final call to those who follow him to the end.
Conclusion to MaryLu's trilogy on the tribulation period.
After reading book 2 in this series, Guardians of the Saints, I finally found it what happened to Thomas and Kyle. MaryLu had done an excellent job in writing these books. She stays true to the timeline written in Revelation. This book reads like a young adult fantasy book, and this is a novel. But it is based on the book of Revelation, and the book of revelation is not fantasy. This world will go through a real tribulation. I pray that those who read this book will turn to Jesus.
This final book in the trilogy is a must read! Ms. Tyndall paints a vivid picture of the last days that will frighten you and excite you. I was so captivated by the characters and all that they endured. I often found myself praying for them and rejoicing with them, because they seemed so real. In my opinion, I believe this trilogy is better than the Left Behind series by LaHaye and Jenkins. I highly recommend!
Thomas is a high ranking official and he is tasked with breaking Tori so that she gives up her faith. He can't get her to back down and instead of executing her as mandated by his boss he decides to help her escape. All the things he had been brainwashed into believing are showing to be lies and falsehoods. Does he choose to follow Christ or keep on the path of destruction? Can Kyle be saved?
Powerful read and this case listen lots of tribulation, lots of sadness trials and in the middle of all that romance love and forgiveness fast pace this book keep me in the end of the seat waiting for what was coming next the whole series is amazingly good. The narrator of the audiobook did a great job bringing me into the story. I love this story and wholeheartedly recommend it. I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review
What a thrilling trio of books! Guardians of the Saints
I couldn't read fast enough to see the next page of the trilogy. I can see so much of what I read happening today. Too many "churches" trying to make the masses feel good that they don't talk/preach about the hard truths of the Bible. To offer to show people how to be saved...these books are so real about what could/can happen, we all need to be preparing for our Lord's return soon.
This is the third "When Angels..." books. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book after reading the first two. MaryLu is an exceptional author and I bought the first 2 books for my adult granddaughter to enjoy. This book was almost impossible to put down and I can hardly wait for my granddaughter to read all three. I still need to buy her this book also.
I loved all three in this series! If you like to read books about Angels, and how they interact with God’s people, you will love these three, it is a no nonsense story of the cost to following Jesus and the deceptions of this world. It was almost like reading about what’s going on today in the culture. Really enjoyed it all three!
Great fast paced story of struggling humanity during the Great Tribulation. Tests of faith and trust, loves lost and found, and Jesus’ saving grace shared over and over. I loved all three angel books! I highly recommended them. My faith is stirred up and my belief made stronger in the one true God, Jesus Christ!
I absolutely loved the finale to this series! Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. This book continues the story of what could possibly happen during the Revelation period spoken of in the Bible and true to MaryLu fashion there is lots of action, lots of twists, and so much to love!
This book no matter how fiction has still changed my life. I no longer just see what is wrong but I now see the evil from where its stemmed from. Its brought Scripture to life more than ever
Truly enjoyed the characters and their journey! The vivid details of the Rapture, the Great Tribulation and Jesus Return was a captivated story that caused tears of sorrow and Joy!
Being a student of scripture, prophecy and Revelations, this series thrilled my heart, mind and soul. I pray unbelievers read this and understand what Jesus did for us on the cross!
Very good story. Gives a warning to not wait until you're in the tribulation to turn to God. Life will be suffering and hardship then and many will be seduced by those who follow the enemy.
I loved these books. It has encouraged me to read my Bible more. Thanks for creating a beautiful series to inspire believers and perhaps those seeking a glimpse of what is to come.
