About the author

Matt has been active in ministry for over two decades. He served as a youth and associate pastor in Illinois and Ohio. He eventually served at the state headquarters for the Ohio Assemblies of God, including a stint as youth director. He has also been involved in the non-profit world. He currently serves as the Board Chair for Inlet Dance Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio.

He is the founder of Monumental Ministries, an organization that seeks to facilitate landmark moments in people's lives. He has published six books, plus written many dramas and short stories. He has written articles for the Assemblies of God National Youth and Men's Ministries departments. He frequently speaks to students, young adults, and adults at church events, retreats, camps, and conventions. He makes his home in the Cleveland, Ohio metro area.
