Випав сніг і я швидесенько до цієї книги. Не змогла відірватись від даної манери авторки. Вона зачіпає так, що після кожної сторінки сама собі говорю, ні треба розтягнути задоволення на довше, але цікавість за життя Еммі була більшою. Класна книга. Радію, що ми українці маємо таких талановитих митців. Однозначно рекомендую.

I liked the main character of the novel Amy. Smart, beautiful, courageous. She reminded me a little. My friend told me about this new book, although I usually don’t read novels. I believe my friend. If she says that the book is worthy of attention, then it is. Perhaps I'm not completely satisfied with the main character of the novel, Richard. Why was he afraid? Why did Amy suffer? But this is my personal opinion. In fact, in life, many men behave strangely, but this does't mean that they are bad... I really look forward to new books from Alina now! And I recommend the novel "The 2 Richards" for reading, if you like love stories with an exciting plot.

Було дуже цікаво, що ж такого є у книзі української авторки, що її продають навіть на Амазон? І, на жаль, відповідь мене розчарувала. Я не зрозуміла Емі взагалі. Повно плутаних думок і відповідей без питань. Я так вірила, що десь всередині книжки з‘явиться відверта розповідь, чому героїня така яка є, але цього не сталося навіть до кінця книги. І чому вона так зосереджена на своєму віці? Каже, що байдуже скільки тобі років, і постійно нагадує, що їй 32. Героїня дуже поверхнева, дуже. Я очікувала на глибину душевну, але ні.
Загалом, є оригінальні думки, але їхня постійна повторюваність перетворює оригінальну думку на суцільну банальність. Знов таки, на жаль.
Я так розумію, що українською мовою книгу переклали. Шкода, що перекладач забув про існування синонімів - слова ‚агентство‘ і ‚мужчина‘ повторюються таку неймовірну кількість разів, що з часом я просто почала їх оминати.
Єдиний герой, який справді сподобався - це банкір Стів. От кілька сторінок з ним були дійсно цікавими.

Книга дуже легка для прочитання (прочитала за два вечори). Атмосфера неймовірна, спойлерити не буду, але скажу одне: якщо ви шукаєте книгу для створення настрою новорічного дива, то це безсумнівно має бути книга "Два Річарди"

An unconventional romance. A complex novel of love and loss, of finding and realizing yourself. This book started out slowly for me. It didn’t immediately capture my attention. However, I stuck with it and by the time I was a third of the way in it did capture me and I found myself anxious to find out what would happen. There are some life lessons and gold nuggets of truth housed within.

I first saw this author a year ago. Now a new book "The 2 Richards" and I'm intrigued by the description. I love novels in which there is a deep meaning and I'm glad that the novel "The 2 Richards" turned out to be just such a book. A lot of psychology, an interesting plot that keeps me constantly in suspense. I love such books. Here are the bright characters. The main character Amy is a very strong girl, but in search of herself and her love. Here you will not find banal dialogues. One of Richard is very impressed for me.... I recommend reading this novel if you like an exciting story and deep meaning.

The 2 Richards will take you on this fabulous journey. You will follow along Amy as she follows her heart, her own path and you will see this fabulous awakening of one's self. You feel the pull of finding "the love, the one" that Amy goes through while navigating a few relationships. Yes the 2 guys being named Richard can get a little confusing when you're trying to keep up with who is who. But other then that it was a wonderful read. I love watching Amy grow stronger by the end of this book. There is a lot to learn from this one including finding closure and love inside yourself. The 2 Richards is a beautiful unconventional romance.

I purchased this book because of the amazing reviews on Amazon and oh boy, they were all right. This book is fantastic, the story is so beautiful and full of emotions, I couldn't put this down until I ended. The characters are so real and so well written that you can easily find yourself or a friend reflected on them, you start to love and care for them. Amazing book!!! can´t wait to read more from Alina Kryvenets

The 2 Richards by Alina Ross ia a shor phsycological novel about learning to identify what you want and go after it. is about choosing, about being able to say no and just look for he happiness you deserve. This book follows Amy and her love situation, her past and hee present. I could identify myself with this novel because the situations where Amy has lived, ive been there too at some point.
Overall this was a really nice book, def recommend it.

The new novel “The 2 Richards” by Alina Krivenets is a fascinating read, and takes the reader on a six-month journey in the life of the principal character – Amy. Her transformation through the many trials she experiences over the course of her journey, is remarkable, and is told in great detail in this psychological novel. Her interactions with the characters in the novel, as well as the very different environments of New York, and Los Angeles, will leave a lasting impression. Amy’s perception of those around her and of herself, enable the reader to delve deeply into Amy’s life on a personal level. The culmination of the novel on Christmas Eve in the “tangerine, and ginger air of New York..” is an opportunity to make yourself a coffee, sit back in a warm throw, and turn the first page of Amy’s journey – maybe, it will be yours too. Happy reading.

Коли почала читати книжку, думала що буде звичайний любовний роман, який у мене зовсім не викличе ніяких емоцій. Та і перші сторінки так і читались. Емі - власниця туристичного агенства, стоїть на шляху, щоб прийняти та полюбити себе, але не щаслива у коханні. З колишнім чоловіком розлучилася, теперші відносини з Річардом перестали розвиватись. А тут щей нагода відкрити туристичне агентство в іншому місті (чи то філію, чи то відтрити агенство іншому власнику, не дуже зрозуміла), і потрібно переїхати з Нью-Йорка до Лос-Анджелеса на цей період.

А потім в одну долю секунди, вкінці першої частини, коли Річард, другий Річард, відкриває себе справжнього, книжка так затягнула, що отямилась лише вкінці. А закінчення змусило задуматись, що ж там далі відбулось, бо обірвалось на найцікавішому. Але може так і краще, кожен має мати особисте життя, приховане від інших очей.

А от різдвяна атмосфера, через яку я почала читати цю книжу, була лише вкінці, і обіцяне диво в анотації все ж відбулось. Можливо трохи казково, але інколи так хочеться казки у житті.

Що ж, ця невеличка історія, не лише про двох протилежних Річардів у житті Емі, це ще й прийняття себе та пошук того, чого ти справді  хочеш.

Головна героїня цього роману вражає своєю силу і рішучістю, але водночас є вразливою і постійно шукає себе і свого щастя. Через вміле описання її внутрішнього світу, читач може відчути співпереживання та віднайти в ній дзеркальне відображення власних пошуків і боротьби.

Цікаво, що англійський переклад роману, "The 2 Richards", став популярним серед читачів і ввійшов до ТОП-100 різдвяних романів на Amazon. Це свідчить про захоплюючу сюжетну лінію та емоційну привабливість книги.

Проте в мене залишились неоднозначні враження від перекладу. Якщо перекладач використовував однакове слово "мужчина" без синонімів, це викликало дискомфорт і зменшило задоволення від читання. Розмаїтість синонімів могла б збагатити мову та зробити текст більш різноманітним.

В цілому, "Два Річарди" пропонує захопливу історію зі складними персонажами, яка залучає читача до глибини людських почуттів та пошуків. Оцінка 4 з 5 відображає моє враження про цю книгу, з врахуванням зауваження щодо переклад

Love love love! This book is absolutely magical. The main character is very similar to me. Yes, Amy not succeed with the personal life, but in the end ... She defeats herself and receives an award. Christmas is beautifully described. This is my favorite holiday. I just read and could smell the amazing turkey!

I recommend to everyone for evening reading!!)

Тут є все. Безкраїй океан і спекотне літо. Прикрашені ялинки і перед різдвяна метушня. Палке кохання та біль розчарування.

Мені сподобалась емоційність цього роману, його щирість. Сподобалась також небанальна кінцівка.

Очікувала на легке ванільне чтиво, а натомість отоимала глибоку історію, яка багато чим відгукнулась мені ососбисто.
