Wow what a page turner! I usually don’t go for slow or medium burn type of books but I got sucked into the budding relationships that the FMC has with her men. Don’t let the first few chapters turn your off as it did for me… it gets much better and you realize the author wanted you to get annoyed during those first chapters. I just wished the book was longer as it was just getting to the good parts! Will definitely be adding the next book to my wishlist.

I only wish we had more of them all together as a couple. Even if it was just an extended epilogue. I feel a bit shorted at how suddenly it ended. 😭

Victoria is a virgin princess who's life is threatened so the King sends her off with four mercenaries to protect her. Hud, Kid, Ajax, & Pyke have served together for years and are now a mercenary team and they take the protection job for some easy money. Victoria is a total bitch to all of them and then does a full turn around as to not disappoint her dead mother. Suddenly cooking, cleaning, & working out with the guys. She all of the sudden goes from princess lifestyle treating the guys like servants to waiting on them and then of course is curious about each of them. She has sex with one and her virginity isn't even brought up and then she has sex with another one. There's a kidnapping, a rescue, sex with the other two and they all decide they can share. There's an extended epilogue available on the author's website which has the same HEA that most books have. Decent thing about this book was it wasn't detailed smut. It actually had more of a plot and decent backstories on each of them men.

Kai Lesy has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Victoria n(Vic), Ajax, Pyke, Kid, and Hud. Victoria has been told to pack and be ready to go to some undisclosed location because her father King Finn has learned that someone is after his family. The guys are on a mission when Ajax gets an email from the Major. He opens the email and tells them it is a job. They have thirty minutes to take the job or it is lost to them. Ajax said he was going to take it, but Pyke told him no. The rules were everyone had to agree to do a job before it was taken. They talk about the job and decide to take it. When they meet with King Finn, they learn a little more about what is going on and who they will be protecting. When Victoria walks into her father's office, she is not happy and tells him that she doesn't want to leave. She and her father have a few words and he tells her that it is for her own safety that she goes. At first, after they leave, Vic acts like a brat and she knows it and doesn't care. She doesn't even want to talk to the guys and gives them a hard time. She finally comes to realize that they are just doing their jobs and have not done anything wrong. She thinks about her mother and what she would say about the way Vic is acting and decides to change. Vic is attracted to all four of the guys for different reasons and Kid is the first one that she kissed. Ajax sees them kissing and gives Kid a hard time about it. He tells him that they could get in trouble if Vic called her father and told him what happened. Things settle down until the place they are at is attacked. They have to leave and Kid was shot. Now they have to find a different place to stay. But they need to find somewhere where they can have a look at Kid and his wound. Vic is scared and Hud goes to talk to her and they end up sleeping together without the others knowing. They need somewhere to take Vic to keep her safe and Ajax gets an email from his brother in the States and he comes up with a plan. He explains his plan to the rest of the guys about his plan and they don't think that Vic's father would like the plan. They find a way to get out of the country without going to the airport. They got a ride on a transport plane that one of the guy's friends flies. When they land, they go to Ajax's brother's townhouse and try to relax. Things are fine for a few days until the townhouse is attacked and Vic is taken. Pyke is hurt in the attack and has to go to the hospital to have surgery. While he is in the hospital, the rest of the guys go into action on finding Vic. The place they are told she is at is empty when they get there. They find out she has been taken to another place. The guy who took Vic is Jurgen. Jurgen has a thing against Vic's father for something he did to him years ago. Jurgen talks to Vic and tells her that she is going to be his and she tells him that she won't. Jurgen tells her that by the time he gets through with her, she will be so in love with him and want to be with him. The guys find out where Jurgen has taken Vic and they come up with a plan to take him down. When the guys get to Jurgen's place, they find he has seven guards outside and they are taken out. They have a fight once they get inside. They check every room but don't find Vic. Ajax thinks that since the gate is blocked, the only way to get away is the roof and helicopter. They run toward the roof and is blocked by guards. They take the guards out and go up to the roof. What they see when they get to the roof is Jurgen has Vic and a helicopter. Jurgen tells them to stop or he would kill Vic. Pyke had been left behind because of his wound. He is the sniper and when he sees what is going on with Vic, he takes Jurgen out. Vic is shocked by what happened and hasn't said a word. She finally snaps out of it and tells them they need to get out of there. Ajax asked if anyone knows how to fly a helicopter and Kid tells him that he does. Everyone gets on board and they take off, Kid goes to pick up Pyke, and they take off. Once they are back to where they were staying, they call King Finn to tell him that Vic was safe. She talks to her father for a while and when she gets off the phone, she tells them that her father was going to add a 20% bonus to each person. And he wanted them all to come back for a thank you dinner. She also tells them that she had told her father that they needed a week to just relax and he agrees.
What will happen between Vic and the guys?
Will they end up together?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Buff bodyguards and pouty princesses

Ok… so I’m just going to say it… compared to all the other Kai Lesy books I have read this is a slow burn… a very slow burn… think casserole as opposed to minute steak. Sure, by then very end things had gotten juicy, but I’m not used to this from this author. Usually it’s like “well, that didn’t take them long!” But this one surprised me at how long the ‘getting to know you’ period lasted.

I guess the difference was the guys. They were just friends and comrades who weren’t into the whole sharing-is-caring thing unless it involved guns and blowing things up. And yeah, it made a refreshing change. And by the time they do finally start to give in to temptation, we’ve got to know our individual characters quite well.

Victoria… well, I can’t deny that at first I didn’t like and I was a bit unsure whether I ever would, but her change of heart and overnight personality transplant definitely helped and once she’d decided to give her new bodyguards less of a hard time, I actually liked her.

There’s a lot of danger and gripping storylines in this book and you can certainly feel the tension both emotional and sexual when everything starts to heat up.

And I have to say… another shock… there was no pregnancy in this book which also tends to be a returning theme for this author.

Overall I liked it… but it hasn’t been my favourite by this author. But I’ll definitely continue to read more of Lesy’s stuff.

Princess Victoria of Candara was in danger from Jurgen a billionaire from their country, since Candara was a peace loving country King Finn choose to hire mercenaries to protect his daughter. He chose four highly respected ex-military men that had worked as a team together for sometime that got the job done. The team consisted of Alexander Brown (Ajax), Ivan Horvat (Kid), Kallen Prince (Pyke), and Hudson Gregoire (Hud), each bringing their own talents with ages ranging from late twenties to early thirties and little or no other family making them more brothers than teammates. Needless to say Victoria was not happy about having go into hiding with the mercenaries at first, but she eventually changed her mind set. The guys made her feel safe, and they were all gorgeous men so it was not long before she was fantasizing about them. She was beautiful and liked to wear shorts making it hard for the guys to keep their eyes where they belonged. They spent weeks together getting to know each other, often in close proximity. High action, romantic suspense, mystery, and intrigue that was a real page turner. I could not put it down once I started.

Her father, the King, has ordered her whisked away for her safety. He doesn't tell her why or where; she is just expected to do as told. She is not happy and takes her anger out on the men hired to protect her. Once she realizes what a brat she's being, she does try to make it up to them. The guys have a history she doesn't know about, one of which might cause issues. But danger is coming for them, and they won't all get away without injury. Kid kisses her first and gets in trouble for it, but then Hud does so much more. She and Ajax were sharing their first kiss when the world around them exploded. Can they bring her back home?

This book has several typos, like the number 2 just randomly thrown in, but it's still a good book. Kinda confused as to who Shannon and Connor belong to. Ajax talks about spending time with them, but Pyke calls her his wife and son. I also didn't like not knowing how it ended for them after rescue.

This was entertaining and kept me wondering when they were all just going to give in? The writing is good and the story is full, the time it takes for them to go for it takes a while as they get to know her.

She wasn't the easiest to get along with but knowing they were here for her meant something. She found them good looking and as time wore on she became more relaxed around them. Too relaxed.

Which is more than ok with me! The chemistry they had were great, she was a brat at first but eventually she mellowed out with her men. I wish they had more sexy scenes together because it didn't feel like there were enough! I am happy they all worked it out. I felt for some of them as they had some drama to deal with but so happy they all could be together finally.

"Her Royal Treatment" is about a security threat to a princess, Victoria. Her father, the King, hires four mercenaries to keep her safe.

Feelings start to develop between the 5 characters. There is some spice and a good deal of action. There aren't a lot of spicy scenes as one might expect from a reverse harem. I think one or two more would have been nice, as this might have made a portion of the story a little less slow.

I like the suspense in this book, as it did keep me on my toes! If you like suspense, reverse harems, some spice, alpha men, and age gap romance, you will like this book.

Princess Victoria and her 4 mercenaries have an adventure loaded with drama, danger, mystery, and attraction. Pyke, Hud, Kid, and Ajax have a job to do and are professional and protective. They also can’t help themselves as they become more acquainted with Vic. She starts off as a huge pain but then changes her attitude and becomes a part of them. Mutual physical attraction eventually turns into some steamy sex and they’re all emotionally involved. Kai does a great job with the scenery and her dialogue illustrates the progression of this relationship. I loved the HEA.

This RH story by Kai Lesy draws you in and keeps you reading. When Princess Victoria's life is endangered, her father spares no expense to get some top-notch mercenaries to protect her. What he didn't realize when he sent them to the middle of nowhere was how close they would become. They are determined to keep her safe no matter what. Little did they realize what might happen. Good story with good characters. Good suspense and danger along with a few surprises. Not your typical royal romance. Enjoy!

Rushed and needs more steamy scenes

It felt more rushed compared to her other stories. I just felt like the steamy scenes were just sloppily thrown at the end instead of continuing the hot momentum that initially started with Kai and Hud. I was hoping for more connection between Vic, Ajax, and Pyke. I felt like Pyke’s past was only briefly mentioned and could have connected with Vic. I really wanted Vic to have more scenes with her best friend and even the whole villain bit should have been more elaborated on. Truthfully this story needed at least 80-100 more pages to be considered complete and on par with Kai Leah’s other stories.

This is a daft book with the sort of plot (apart from the sex) that would expect from a kid of school age. A group of mercenaries is hired to undertake close protection for the princess of a tiny rich European monarchy. In the first section this is handles as you might expect with sensible measures being taken, but then they move to Boston in America and all pretence of security is dropped by this supposedly professional group.

The action sequences at the end lack reality and for a book that is supposed to feature revere harem sex this is very limited and there is nothing at all until you are 60% in.

Her Royal Treatment by Kai Lesy is the story of Victoria (Vic), a princess whose life is in danger. Her father hires a band of mercenaries to protect her. These men, Ajax, Kid, Hud, and Pyke are determined to keep her safe at all costs….but, other things get in the way.

Liked the story and the characters…though, RH is not my favorite genre, I decided to give it a try because I LOVE this author. Lots of danger, intrigue, surprises, attacks, and a princess who is not your typical royal! Good story!

This book has some steamy scenes but it also had some heartfelt connections between the 4 guys that make up the mercenaries that the King hires to protect his daughter Princess Victoria. But of course it isn't a simple protection detail. This book starts out with our four heroes getting shot at then takes them to the small country of Candera to meet King Finn and the princess. It takes us to Italy, Boston and ends back in Italy.
Great storyline and amazing characters.

An amazing story. Victoria is a princess of a small but prosperous kingdom od Candara. When her life is threatened by a rich and powerful man, her father decides tosend her off to Blanc Mont with a security detail consisting of four mercenaries Alex, Hud, Pyke and Kid. At first she resists but soon couldnt help but get to know the four men. And when she is kidnapped, these four are the only ones to save her. Loved reading their story. Thanx.

taking what you want

Her Royal Treatment is book two in the series Lucky Lady by author Kai Lesy. This is a spicy fast paced story that will ignite all your senses.
Let me set the scene- a damsel in distress (ok she’s kinda a brat but hey she’s a princess) and the knight- umm knights in armored gear. All tall drinks of water. Ok maybe lemonade not to tart but more sweet. Lol my descriptions- yes I am crazy- lol. Anywho, they deal with her sassy *** and then some. Dealing with bad guys and heated moments. Yep moving on to book three.

cute story…weird plot jumps

Overall was a good story.
There were some weird plot jumps that could have had a couple of sentences at the end of a chapter to fade the scene out rather than an abrupt time and topic switch.
Example when pike was talking about his son, he shared an emotional moment. Then it abruptly ended and next chapter starts three days later.
It could have had a softer switch like the scene fading while conversation continued as happy memories of son were shared or then they spent time as a group watching movies. Something.

I rate this book 3.5 stars.

I thought this was a cute romance thought it seems a bit rushed at the end. I found Victoria to be a sweetheart once she calmed down and realized what was happening. She has good chemistry with her four bodyguards Vic, Pyke, Hud and Kid. I found this story to be entertaining but felt that there should be a little more substance.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the characters and how they related with each other. I wanted to shake Victoria at first with how she was treating the guys. Then when she woke up with the attitude adjustment, then the good stuff started happening. A great reverse harem with action and super spicy story.

This book is full of intense moments as Princess Victoria is being guarded. Her time with Ajax, Hud, Kid, and Pyke is full of chemistry and heat. This story is one that pulls you in as you wonder what will happen with the Princess and the danger she is in. The guys are all amazing in their own ways and it’s no wonder Victoria ends up having chemistry with them all. Their story will keep you entertained and leave you wanting to find your own mercenary bodyguards.

This is not your typical RH but was still good. Victoria was your typical princess at first then once she ‘calmed’ down was herself. Now her four bodyguards were amazing. We got some vital background on each character but I personally would’ve liked a little more. The action was great and would’ve liked the story to be a little bit longer n not rushed at the end.

Loved this story. More action and adventure with some suspense thrown in there for good measure. I loved the group dynamic between the 4 guys, and I liked Princess Victoria once she lost the privileged attitude.

This bodyguards to lovers reverse harem story has an intriguing and dangerous story. I love the premise, the characters with interesting histories, and bodyguard aspect of the story. This is a good Reverse Harem theme with all the problems of life and how this would or would not work with her being a protected princess on top of everything else. 4 Mercenaries + 1 Princess = ONE VERY GOOD STORY!
I can’t say too much about the book that others haven’t already written. I can only agree; perhaps add that I gave Kai Lesy’s story, HER ROYAL TREATMENT, 6 STARS! The steam alone is worth that!
Then throw in all that excellent, thrilling storyline, and you’ve got a surefire hit! The author gave us a page-turner for sure. I could not stop until I found out how it ended.

This book was really good. Even though we knew who the bad guy was we never knew when he was going to hit until it happened. Plus this was not a typical reverse harem romance where it is normally all sex. It was like the author held back until the end. The only thing I can say negative is the ending felt like more closing was needed.

Victoria is a princess and her father has sent her away with a security team for her own protection. She's really not happy to be sent to the middle of nowhere with four men she doesn't know though. She tries to make things difficult for them by complaining and being mean, but over time her feelings start to change. The characters were really fun to read in this book and there is action that kept me reading until the end.

What an amazing read, exciting macho mercenaries, a beautiful princess, mystery, danger, an ud love. After all the smoke clears they confess all of their love to and from the princess.
I can't wait to read the epilogue... my heart is beating with excitement to read the epilogue.

sneak attack love

Vic is mad at her father for making her leave her home with four men she doesn’t know. She makes their life hell for a day and then pulls a 180. Hud, Ajax, Pyke and Kid don’t know what to do with her after changes direction. Can they keep things professional? Will Vic go for what she wants? Come watch as they try to fight their attraction. Stress when the one who wants revenge moves in. Can they all make it out alive?
