Passionate Sci-Fi with a touch of danger and a whole lot of sass.

Cyndi has written about rock stars, vampires, and cat shifters, but she's currently focused on outer space. Her stories are fun, fast-paced, and seriously hot. She has made the USA Today Top 100, and every book in the Outcasts series landed on Amazon's Top 100. She is currently working on Shadowborn Rebellion, a spin-off series set in the Outcasts universe.

A great book! I strongly urge anyone to read the first book (taken by storm) before you read Operation Hydra. Parts of the story will be confusing if you don't know all the history from the first book. I really like this series so far. The books are an easy read however there are parts that seem to drag. Overall, great storyline and well thought out characters. I will definitely read city of tears next! Happy Reading!!

So I read this book on an undisclosed website for free which is probably illegal but that's beside the point. Well, unfortunately, it did not include the epilogue and so I took the plunge and bought the book. I was driving myself crazy not knowing how it ended and I caved. Do I regret buying the book? No, because I'll probably go and reread this series over and over again. God, I enjoyed the first two books so much I hope it only gets better.

Oh...WOW! Cyndi Friberg did it again. I read Taken by the Storm (book 1) back in the summer when it was a freebie and the author blew me away. I got a note from amazon about more of her books and not sure why I purchased this one when I have 20 pages of unread books on my kindle but I am so glad I did. I LOVED this book! I loved the story so much I purchased the next 4 books in this series. Ms. Friberg has done (in my opinion) an excellent job of crafting a sci-fi/romance/whatever you want to call it. She just pulled me in and I do not want to leave. Thank you Ms. Friberg!!

No 2 in the series, just as good as the first, loved the way the characters develop - read it in 2 days commuting to work.
Love the whole series, not something I would normally read, but cannot recommend them enough.
Why cant I get Consort from Kobo in the UK ?

Loved the first one but this was terrible. All over the place and the characters are not given any time to develop.

I actually liked this better than the first. Both of the main characters were not forced anything and got to choose. Really enjoyed it!!
