Cinderella wasn’t me (season 1 part 1)

Vol one so I’m assuming it’s like 20 -30 chapters in

I like the main characters, I was confused about the male main character in the beginning, but it all made sense as it progressed. I like that there is a bunch of secrets however, I don’t feel left in the dark as a reader, which is something I hate.

Season 1:(Chapters 1~50)

Interesting story, twisty backgrounds for the leads, soft/strong FL, cute but possibly Machiavellian ML. Will read on to the next season.

Storyline: How could Terryl’s Winterglass's boyfriend cheat and then leave her simply because of her lower status? After all the abuse and neglect she suffered at his and his mother's hands...is this it?

Well after her humiliating breakup, a mysterious man arrives at her home telling Terryl the shocking truth about her identity— she’s the daughter of a powerful duke and now the Heir of Rhian! After being whisked away to the cold north with her mother she is instantly tasked with learning to take over the Dukedom from her father. Magic, politics, swordsmanship and etiquette oh my! Years later with her advanced standing in society and newfound powers, Terryl is sent back to the capital to welcome the new Emperor on her fathers behalf.

But after seeing her ex again and his new fiancé (whom he cheated on her with) she decides to plan a little revenge against him by taking away something he loves--Being the heir of the Marquisate. In order to do that she offers a contract marriage to his brother, Cesio. This way, she can scheme from the inside and bolster another candidate.

คาร์พระเอกคือสุดมาก พี่แกเป็นผู้ชายตอแหลมีจริตจะก้านอะ แพ้มาก โคตรชอบ ยิ่งอ่านช่วงแรกคือกรี๊ดในจริต กรี๊ดความตอแหล กรี๊ดผู้บ่าวหางตาตก ในคอมเม้นต์ถึงขั้นแซวพระเอกแบบรู้กันว่า ยัยเล็บเจล 5555 🤣 นางเอกแกร่งมากเข้าขั้นแมรี่ซู ทุกคนก็แซวว่าเป็นพระเอกผมดำยาวสลวยสุดเท่กับยัยตัวร้ายผมทอง5555

แต่เพราะเก่งไป แทบไร้อุปสรรคก็เลยราบรื่นทุกอย่าง พระเอกยิ่งแล้วใหญ่ พี่แกเป็นลูกรักพระเจ้า มีวาจาศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ดังนั้นตัวร้ายก็เป็นแค่กีกี้ไว้ตบเกรียนเอาเล่น ๆ แต่ความสัมพันธ์กับตัวละครอื่นถือว่าราบรื่นและไม่ค่อยมีอะไรให้ขัดใจมาก สาวผมชมพูที่ดูจะร้ายก็ไม่ร้าย มาช่วยนางเอกตลอด เพื่อนหญิงพลังหญิง

คู่พ่อกับแม่นางเอกก็หวานสุด ๆ ตอนแรกทรงมาน่าจะเกลียดพ่อ แต่คุยไปคุยมา เอ้า พ่อต้องจากแม่ไปหลายสิบปีเพราะความเข้าใจผิด ปรับความเข้าใจปุ๊บก็ดีกัน เลิฟ ๆ ผัวเมียหวานแหวว ดีจังเรามีลูกสาวด้วย ทายาทเพียงคนเดียวของตระกูล ต้องแกร่งไม่แพ้พ่อ มา ยังไม่สาย ฝึกดาบกันเลย!!

น่าเสียดายที่ช่วงกลาง ๆ ถึงท้ายเรื่องคาร์แรคเตอร์พระเอกดูไม่ค่อยถูกจริตเราแล้ว คิดถึงความเจ้าเล่ห์ความตัวร้ายของนายคนนี้ในช่วงแรกอ่า จริตความเริ่ดความร้ายมันหาย แอบเสียดาย คะแนนเลยดรอปช่วงท้ายนี่แหละ หวังว่าตอนพิเศษจะได้อารมณ์นั้นกลับมาอีกครั้งนะ อยากรู้ว่าอีตาคนนี้จะเลี้ยงลูกออกมานิสัยยังไง ลูกชายจะได้ความเล็บเจลมาจากพ่อมั้ย มาลุ้นกัน

This goes from being funny to stupid. The plot tries to be taken seriously but the main characters are too OP. Problems are introduced in the plot, but they're handled or solved within 3 minutes (except the main plot point which is the backbone of the story). But I do like the character's banter and the fact that their romance doesn't start too fast or for simple reasons.

However, I wish the ML stayed in a wheelchair or at least mute. I would have loved some disabled rep. It would be cool to see how a world that has literal magic could be used to envision a hero despite his disabilities.

I wanted to like this one more. It is a mix of curses, political scheming, and romance. It isn't a typical fluffy father-daughter relationship after reuniting. However, our protagonist is just too passive for me. When people are slapping her and mocking her she does nothing. When her dad kidnaps her and her mom she meekly goes along with training and confinement. When she discovers people lying to her and trying to manipulate her with magical powers, she still just accepts a contract with them. The art is too good I think to give it a one star but DNFed at 30.

Complete review for chapter 1-145 (including side story).

The story turned into something I don’t imagine. The beginning it was like another normal love story with cheating boyfriend due to low status of the female lead. Then, it turned into action with family, love story, friendship, and clan. The female lead became very powerful and gained high status (powerful clan in kingdom). It also included fantasy genre inside, that the male lead had saint power. The interactions between FL and ML were lovely and cute.

I enjoyed the story well.

La verdad me gusto el cambio de roles, que ella este en el papel del príncipe y el sea "Cenicienta".
También me gusto que no hay un desbalance de poder muy grande, ambos hacen una buena "power couple".
El ritmo de la narración es bastante ágil sin parecer apresurado.
La historia esta entretenida, si bien ambos personajes están OP, no se soluciona todo con un pase mágico y ya.
Claramente hay inconsistencias en la historia... pero igual super entretenido.

It was fun; I liked it. I enjoyed the display of a different power. The characters were okay. Nothing too special, but good all the same.

It was addicting at parts, and I especially enjoyed the beginning. I wish it showed the female lead's emotions throughout the process of the first couple of chapters. She didn't feel like a real person at times because of how much she changed, and how fast it happened as we didn't see it.

considering this volume up to ch.30 since GR isn’t up to date. this story is actually unique, but the characters aren’t likable enough to make me want to continue.
