I love happy endings. Don't you just like it when there's been constant turmoil throughout the book and the last chapter leaves you feeling all fluttery inside? Looted just made me feel this.
Looted is the second book in the Quest series. It's about the King of Souls, Thorne, and his mate Emily. In case you haven't read Side Quest, don't continue reading this review because it's a complete spoiler for an important scene in the first book.
After Katherine, Hunter, the Wolven Clan, Graug, and Thorne find all of the stones, they start to prepare for battle. In the meantime, a certain redhead is getting her ass kicked in training from a mighty Orc Jucara. Months pass until the right time when Thorne goes out to the lake that Emily was sent to rest in and performs the rightful task of the stone in his grasp.
I loved this book! The love, spice, adventure, secrets, bafflement, and everything about it made my heart hammer in my chest. Thorne is the King of the dead but he is such a sweetheart to Emily. While his character was described as unforgiving, ruthless, and just mean in Side Quest, Looted showed us another side of him that warmed even those with a stone-cold heart. Plus, all of those spicy scenes took my breath away.
Honestly, J.Lofton is an incredible author and her books are always taking me off to new realms! I'm so happy to have the chance to read this ARC!

I might not do the justice with the words to this amazing book but it's superb. It feels so real & the portrayal of the characters... I LOVEE it.
In J Lofton's romantic fantasy novel, the story revolves around Thorne,the King of Souls and his Kitten, Emily.
♥ Review: The first book is so mind-blowing that I've to unquestionably pick up this book & get the answers just like that mysterious caller. I mean, obviously I didn't wanted to miss out on this where u see how the characters develop. How impressive, powerful, thoughtful, strong, hot & p*ssy clenching chemistry they've especially (I'm in love with the spice too 😃).The little gestures that makes each other more comfortable & the bond that enables them to understand was mesmerizing was me & them. The ending was not how I expected but it showcases the strong portrayal of the ✨. I liked how they cared for their mates & were ready to always give out their best.
Concluding, I had an altogether personal liking for the first book & therefore ulterior curiosity for wanting to read this book.

PHENOMENAL sequel to Side Quest. I loved side quest but actually liked Looted even more. One of my goals this year has been to branch out on genres and J. Lofton's books have been the perfect intro into reading fantasy. Side Quest and Looted are both incredibly approachable books, easy reads, and so much fun. Be warned, this is a fantasy romance packed with spice. The character development is top notch in both of these books. I highly recommend.

I really liked this but I had to subtract a star for the MMC constantly calling the FMC “kitten” every other page. I think I’m one of the few people that liked Side Quest better, but I loved this duo-logy so much!
