I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of this in exchange for an honest review

I genuinely loved this book - I loved it enough I passed out reading it because I didn’t want to put it down. Second book syndrome is far to common but our author managed to show us more of the world while still moving the story along at a brisk pace

I have many questions and theories which is great in a series like this as many were answered which led to more questions

I can’t wait for the next instalment

I was lucky enough to get an advanced reader's copy (ARC) of this book and I found it very difficult to put down. I enjoyed the first one in this series but this book expanded the world and gave more depth to the characters and the relationships between them. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. My only problem is that now I have to wait rather a long time to find out what happens next...

still boggles the mind how a person who's first language isn't English can write such a great series...can't wait to find out what's next for these characters

"You see, Princess, it's my own kind of torture having you this close."

"I'm pissed because you're mine."

“I'm the master of my life."

More twists and more turns of events. More secrets, more bonds, more characters and different powers. Misha trying to figure out her bond with some gryffins while trying to help Tasha from afar. Tasha trying to navigate her intense and obsessive attraction towards a Prince she can’t have, while finding out more about her origins. William is finally introduced but to be totally honest, if I hadn’t read the Punch of Magic book first, I would have felt for him the way I do now. Adam is growing restless, especially considering how insanely attracted to Tasha he is. I think I fell a bit harder for him this time around. Prophesies and curses, made the action and mysterious dynamics in this book so much more interesting. It still is a story you can read in a day (I did at least) because the author has a as to to bring you along the journey without too much struggle. I have to admit though that I blossomed more in Tasha’s pov chapters rather than Misha’s but that’s alright because I’m a fan of the series and nothing can take that away from me. Adam is still a hot mess and I love that we get more scenes with him this time around. Considering how obsessed I am with the bonus chapters in this series… I guess it does not come as a shock that I would definitely ask the author to consider a double pov that is not only Misha and Tasha for the next instalment. But considering the cliffhanger that was the end of this book … only time will tell !!

"Because If I can't have you, I still want you to feel what it would be to be with me. I still want
you to know that you belong to me."

"If I had known you'd be kneeling for me, Princess, I would have tempted death a lot earlier."

I absolutely LOVED this book! I never wanted to put it down and was always thinking of when I could pick it back up again. I haven't squealed over cute moments and excitedly kicked my legs over plot twists like that in a while. This book reminds me why I love to read so much. This will definitely be one of my favorite books of the year!

There were so many fantasy and romance plot points/tropes that I tend to enjoy in this book. Seeing them play out in a unique way really made it fun and refreshing. There was one trope in this book that I usually hate, but it was done in a creative way that I've never seen before and that made me love this book even more. I was so ready to dislike where the book was headed but I was pleasantly surprised instead.

This is one of the most creative and original series I've ever read! The characters are so loveable and feel so real. The romance is slow burn, but once it gets going it's so satisfying. I love that we got an extra POV in this book. All 3 of the girls are strong and amazing in their own ways. We really got to learn more about where 2 of the main characters came from. I can't wait to learn even more in the next book!

This book was so much better than the first, and so much spicier too! I could not put it down. There were a few errors again, but the writing, story, and relationships definitely improved. I still feel like the huge plot twists and new abilities weren’t necessary. One of the characters I thought could have been left out of the first book was redeemed in this book when we got her POV. A lot more background was given, but I’m still struggling with the attempted lore. I am really looking forward to the end of the series and seeing where all these characters end up.

This book felt like a flash read! I loved it even more than the first one, and now I'm left with a lump in my throat because of the ending. I don't know whether to be happy that the story isn't over yet or be sad that this book is over and I'll have to wait for what comes next! 😫😭💔

I was rooting for Adam's character in the first book even though we didn't get many scenes of him and Tasha interacting much! But in this one I simply fell in LOVE with him all over again 😫❤ he was just...THERE, whenever she needed him! He trusted her and believed in her, and would probably bury alive anyone who ever thought about hurting her, even before the idea crossed their minds! This man was just PERFECTION!!! 😍🔥

It was AMAZING to see Tasha gain awareness of powers she never even IMAGINED she could possess! Even if the way she'd had to learn about them was the most painful one 😭💔 she pretty much survived the unsurvivable! Her story is just beginning, and based on how this book ended, I'd say even more struggles and pain are heading her way. But I know she'll be able to face it with her new found abilities, and surrounded by more loved ones than she would have thought she'd ever have ❤

I simply CAN'T WAIT to get more of Tasha, my favorite prince aka Adam, Misha, Ezequiel, Ulysse and all the new characters that were added to the story! This book got released today, so if this review piqued your interest make sure to get yourself a digital or physical copy of it, and read the first one in case you haven't already! 😍❤

You know you love an author's work when you buy each edition available :p Like part one of the Sound of Battle Series, The Sound of Claws comes in two flavours: a light one (young adult) and a dark one (new adult). And like with The Sound of Steel, I couldn't resist buying both (and neither will you - you've been warned!). They look absolutely stunning next to each other <3

These books are a delicious mix of magic, strong yet relatable characters, secrets, romance,…everything you might want and more. We meet the main characters of book one again, Tasha and Misha, and they take us on another roller-coaster adventure. I keep being impressed by the writing style of E.V. Sauvage. Whether it's young adult, new adult, or erotica (check out her Monstrous Surprises Series, you won't regret it ;) ), her tales captivate me from the very start. I also greatly appreciated the switching points-of-view. Last but not least, I'm in awe and more than a bit jealous about the author's command of the English language. She might not be a native English speaker, but her prose is beautiful and absolutely flawless. Simply amazing. I cannot wait for the next part! Highly recommended!

My first thoughts are that I need more and I want to know what happens next!

The story continues with the main characters finding out more about their pasts, learning more about the mysteries they are trying to solve, and more mysteries come up. There are some things that I hoped and thought would come to pass, happened, but no spoilers! You have to read the story for yourself.

I love how the bond between Tasha and Misha never wanes as they continue on their own personal journeys. So much has happened to both of them, they’ve discovered and remembered so much more than they had known before. I can’t wait to find out what happens in Volomia and Irisda, there is so much going on behind the scenes that I need to know!

This series is binge-worthy!

I wrote this book!
If you’re here, you liked the sound of steel enough to keep on with my adventure!
So dove back into Erithea, with all the characters you loved. A clumsy but strong Tasha, a loving and fun Misha, a dark and secretive Adam, a sexy duo of gryffon riders Ulysse And Ezequiel …
But it’s time to meet new characters too. This book will see the arrival of a new POV. You might have disliked her in first book but you’ll see a whole new side of Camille, and meet a new love interest too.
Enjoy your trip in Erithea 😁
