Summer Court #3

Fae's Alpha

Rate this book
Past hurts. Present secrets. Future of the fated.

Briana
My sister is missing. I must find her. Since the Fae King sealed us in the Summer Court, it should be impossible to escape, but as his children, our royal powers let us secretly slip through the barrier to Earth. She found me all those years ago when I needed her most. Now it’s my turn. The moment I leave, I know I’ve made a mistake. I walk into the arms of a man who makes me feel more in a moment than I have in many, many years. Things I don’t want to feel.

Sledge
I knew she was mine the second we met. When she ran into the forest, inciting my wolf’s desire to claim her, it only made me want her more. Except my best friend gets in the way. Lucky for him, he’s mated to her sister, otherwise I would have torn him apart for being near her. I know she feels our fated mate connection but convincing her to accept our future together is harder than I thought, especially when I promise to not touch her unless she asks. Good thing I didn’t promise my wolf wouldn’t touch her. By the time I win her over, she’ll beg for my touch.

Fae’s Alpha is the third standalone romance in the Summer Court fantasy romance series featuring powerful Fae royals who find their fated mates on their quest to save the Fae.

It’s perfect for fans of portal worlds, intrigue, suspense, heartfelt emotions, explosive chemistry, love, and happily ever after.

This is a well written fated mates fae/shifter romance with strong characters in Briana and Sledge. The author brings an entertaining story that had me glued to the pages from start to finish. There's humor and heat along with the fun banter and all of their ups and downs. The story moves fluidly with her perfectly painted scenes. It's an exciting story and I enjoyed reading.

Helen Walton has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Briana and Sledge. Briana is a Fae princess and Sledge is a wolf shifter. Briana is with her sisters and mother and they are talking about her missing sister. She finds out that her sister is on Earth and decides to go and look for her. When she walks out from the vail she sees a man and she has an instant attraction to him. She tries to put a lock on it. She has locked down her feelings since she lost her mate and daughter. She goes to her sister Saoirse and finds out that she is mated to a wolf shifter and pregnant. She decides to stay with her sister until the baby is born. Sledge is a friend of Saoirse and her mate Arrow. There is an attraction to Sledge but since she lost her mate and daughter, she has locked down her feelings. Sledge and his wolf know that Briana is their mate but she pushes him away every time he tries to get close to her. Sledge is there for her every time she needs him and slowly he breaks down her walls. They start a friendship and she cares for him but she doesn't want to go through the pain of losing another mate. Sledge keeps trying to get her to tell him why she won't allow the mating between them and finally she tells him how her mate and daughter were burnt at the stakes years ago. This is why she doesn't want another mate, she can't go through the pain again. After Saoirse gives birth, Briana goes back home to let her family know about the baby. All of her family is happy about the baby except her father. He is not happy about the baby being half wolf shifter. Briana is not happy since she keeps thinking about Sledge. Somehow, she comes back into heat and she can't find the witch that gave her the spell to stop it. She remembers that Sledge knows of a witch. She goes back to Saoirse and has her call Sledge to see if he can get in touch with the witch for a spell for Briana. He is told that it is too late for the spell. Briana finally gives in to Sledge and the mating pull.
Will Briana stay with Sledge or will she go back home?
This is a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

You should definitely check this book out if you love Wolf shifters and Fae! Okay so I am a big BIG fan of both and this book checked off several things for me. Firstly Alpha males are just 🤌👏, especially hunky, blue eyed Wolf shifters. Secondly throw in a Fae MC, love the twist of that and her not being human in any form. Thirdly the hero is respectful of his main character (I know, I know we love a villain but not this time) while still being a hound..ahem excuse me, Wolf. Some of the lines he used had me stupid grinning. All in all it was a great read and for those of you looking for something more light on violence, while still feeling like the main characters were overcoming struggles this is perfect. Also has a good amount of spice without taking the focus off the story. I recommend giving it a go if your looking for a new read 📚.

She Kept Running Away From Their Bond

Briana was on her way to find her sister when she encountered Sledge an Alpha Wolf Shifter. Running away from him when she realised he was her fated mate had him chasing her to claim her.

Sledge had always known that one of Saoirse’s sisters was his mate from the moment he met her and she mated with Arrow and when he finally met her, he was eager to claim her until he realised that she wasn’t as eager.

Briana had a lot of issues and Sledge was slowly working his way through them and he did promise not to touch her until she asked but that was him and not his Wolf.

Another great, steamy read from this series. The pent up passion was obvious from the beginning and he couldn’t wait to make her scream with pleasure when she finally gave into him!

Briana is going to see if her sister is OK as she hasn’t been back to the Summer Court for some time. She meets Sledge and instantly knows he is her fated mate. She doesn’t want one as she knows she couldn’t bear to lose him.
Sledge us a patient man and knows he needs to wait for Briana even though he desperately wants her.
I’m really glad that we get to read Briana’s story earlier in the series. She was the saddest figure after the burnings and she, out of all of the Royals, deserves her happy ending. Sledge is a loveable rogue and adores Briana and those scenes are the sweetest to read.
This is a great story and one I would highly recommend.

Healing Her Heart . . .

Briana O’Cleirigh doesn’t want to lose anyone ever again, so she has sworn off love. But when she meets a man during her search for her missing sister, her immediate feelings for him frighten her.

Sledge Braidwood is the Alpha’s son and will take his father’s place in the pack. When he finds the woman who is fated to be his mate, he discovers she is a Fae princess. Will she run from him? Or can he make her see that they are meant for each other? Despite her resistance, Sledge is patient and kind with her, willing to wait for her to give him a chance to prove himself. Can he overcome her fear and convince her to stay?

Helen Walters wrote a captivating third installment to the series that I just could not put down. Brianna and Sledge have the most moving story of a relationship not built on mated at first sight but of growth between characters. In this novel we delve deeper into the history of the Fae and explore emotional trauma that pulls on the heart strings and has you rooting for this couple to find their happy ever after. I highly recommend this novel to fantasy lovers! I cannot wait for the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Helen Walton's Review Club and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed this blending of two paranormal beings. I always like when the book has both characters POV. A crash into him meeting, equals finding a fated mate. Interesting characters with deep backstories. I appreciated how patient and understanding he was while she worked through her past. A couple of nice steamy scenes when they finally claimed one another. Overall, an enjoyable HEA love story.

Briana heads to Earth against her father's wishes to assist her sister. But first she runs into Sledge - a strong, sexy Alpha who just happens to be her fated mate. Briana doesn't want to risk her heart again. Sledge will do anything to win her over - even promise not to touch her until she asks him to.

What's not to like about firefighter wolf shifters? Especially one who rescues koalas! Another enjoyable steamy PNR from Walton, with the added bonus of a slightly more intriguing plot than the previous two instalments.

HOT HOT HOT!!! You will not want to put this book down! There is drama and fun and second chances and witty humor and sizzling hot passion. Briana and Sledge are what fantasies are made of and this book is amongst my TOP fantasy shifter romance books. I will highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to escape their mundane lives. Take a break, fill your wine glass and kick back and fall into this brilliant book.

This was a great third book. I loved how long Briana held on to her convictions and didn't give in to Sledge. Sledge proved to be a true alpha who wanted to claim his mate but refrained until he could convince her that he was going to be there for her in all circumstances. The emotions between the two is intense. I am looking forward to reading the next book.

I was happy to read the story of Brianna and Sledge, 2 characters that I came to love in the previous book. This series continues to pull me in, albeit those are standalone book, and I thought the plot and chemistry between the main characters was well put together. Definitely recommended for lovers of fated mates and werewolf romances.

Helen Walton is a fairly new author to me but I enjoyed this story. This is already the third book in the Summer Court series, I'm two books behind and I'm going to read the first two parts as soon as possible. I loved the storyline of Sledge and Briana, if their story was great to read then the other parts must be fantastic.

I love the relationship between Sledge and Briana so much. They don't try to erase past pain or ignore it rather Sledge helps her through so much and she helps him in kind. There is a gentle giant aspect to it that I absolutely adore.

Fated to the Alpha

Helen's third installment of the Summer Court series follows Briana and Sledge as they get to know each other, and eventually fall in love. I have thoroughly enjoyed the series so far, and book 3 didn't disappoint. With plenty of plot, spice, and love, I couldn't put this book down. I'm excited to see what the other books in the series will hold.

Right! Where the hell do I find myself a Sledge. Talk about swoon. Love his humour and to see his soft side got me good. It did take me a short time into the book to get into Briana, but then I got into her character.
Fae's Alpha had me hooked from the start. Can say I am totally hooked on this series. Helen Walton is a fantastic author. Totally sucked into the Summer Court series.

Slow burn done right

The story, plot, character building and realms of this story are great. The writing is done well so for those looking for something with a little spice, but a great treat this is the book for you. I jumped straight in to this series with this book now raising it's a series but now want to go back and read the first two before moving on to book 4.

Nice romantic book following the group of Fae. Briana was worried and afraid of her feelings for Sledge. The humor between the two characters was well written and added to theor chemistry. The sex scenes between them were spicy.

I really liked this one. Their relationship was a very mature relationship which was nice for a change. There wasn’t a lot of unnecessary drama in the relationship. I really enjoyed the story. I’ll definitely be coming back to this author.

I adore this series! It’s like a new adventure every time one of the Fae siblings finds their mate but the Summer Court’s underlying problem is still a mystery to be solved. We have a little insight into who’s next on the list and who their mate is but I’m always ready for more!! 5 stars!

Meet Briana and Sledge. Briana a Fae. Sledge a wolf shifter. Briana has a sad past and can she get past it to be with her fated mate? Or does she let her past ruin her future with what fate wants? There's betrayal. Sadness. Happiness. Laughter. Spice. You continue to see Arrow and his mate from book 2. Which I liked I think now you'd need to read book 2 and every book after in order. Spice rated 3.5/5 🌶
