Rate this book
The idea of Enough can be tricky, and different for everyone. Are you enough? Do you have enough of the things you need and like? Do you have too much of the stuff you don’t like or want, to the point that you’ve had enough? Do you have more than what you need, and are willing to share with someone else? This book will help you take a closer look at what you believe to be true about yourself, your boundaries, expectations, and your desires to determine what is enough. One thing we already know for certain – You Are Enough! Whether or not you believe it, yet.

Much of my generation learned about Ecclesiastes 3:1 from the American rock band The Byrds.

To everything, turn, turn, turn
There is a season, turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven.

For me, this was not the time for this book. It is not what I thought it was and, although at another time it may be perfect for me, now is not that time. The fault is mine. From the author and the title I made assumptions that turned out untrue. I will admit I skim-read it. Some may say this is when you most need a book that wants you to slow down and take an assessment of yourself and your time use and if your needs are being met. To them I say, You think so? Well, Honey, ain't mythology wonderful? ☺

My mind goes to movies. I see Aragorn in Return of the King addressing the troops gathered for the last battle at the Black Gate "... but it is not this day. " I see Deanna Troi on late 21th century Earth in First Contact drunkenly addressing Riker "... This is no time to talk about time! We don't have the time!" Her's is more my reality, encompasing some of his.

The other boot dropped but even this, too, shall pass. Yeah, right. Gandalf. Fly, you fools!
