Kind Brothers #8

Seven of a Kind

Rate this book
Conner

My life was simple yet complicated, and Dr. Charlotte Roman knew it.

Our first encounter was when I left my phone in the shopping cart at Target. I called it, she answered, and I politely asked if she’d bring it to me. She had a few choice words to say before telling me to come and get it myself. When I did, she proceeded to psychoanalyze me. Even though she was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen, I couldn’t get away from her fast enough.

Relationships with women had always been an issue. They never worked out, so I stopped trying. Ever since birth, I experienced a loss that I carried through adulthood. The only way I could control my emotions was through my work as an orthopedic surgeon—to fix others who were in pain. Unlike my own, at least I could take theirs away.

Dr. Charlotte Roman, a clinical psychologist, was hired by my brothers for our medical center while I was at a medical conference. Imagine my surprise when I came back and saw who she was. I tried to stay away from her, but the magnetic pull she had kept me wanting to know more about her, both physically and emotionally.

Could she be the woman to rescue me? Or would my lifelong issues drive her away?

Charlotte

Dr. Conner Kind, Orthopedic Surgeon—God complex.

Need I say more?

Despite his overbearing sexiness, his genuine relationship with his patients, and his need for perfection, he used his work as a mask to hide the emotional damage he’d been dealing with his entire life. The last thing I needed was to get involved with a man like him, and it took all the strength I had to stay away—until he broke me.

Ohhh Dr. Conner Kind, Orthopedic Surgeon—God complex.
Connor is my favorite of the Kind doctors.
He's sexy hot, funny, sweet and loves kids.

Connor meets Charlotte a psychiatrist, at target and they hate each other.
It's crazy, fun drama that keeps you wanting more.

Connor's haunted by his past being born a twin to Christopher who died at birth.
Twists and turns that will make your head spin and binge reading this awesome series.

i insist the words i said, there is not my story to tell, Conner has no rights to share Charlotte’s story to Jason and Nathan so did both share to their cousin.

i don’t care what kind of promise they had made. it’s something about the trust.

the line is sad, twins but only one alive then mother in depression. Conner was a sad case and so did Nathan, his born was a replacement, it’s so sad. Another doctor Christian Chase? did he got some transplant surgery when he was born and somehow using the heart of Christopher?

Good story

I think that Dr. Christian Chase is Connors' twin brother Christopher, whom they all thought died at birth😲😮!!!! Because I soon as Connor saw him he felt a weird connection towards him. Connor and Charlotte, story was sweet and heart breaking. But I'm looking forward to reading Nathan's story. Plus I'm hoping Dr. Christian Chase gets his own story. So please cut back on using the phrases, bro, and douchebag. Every other sentence are those phrases. These are grown a as men, in their 30's. Not high school surfer dudes.

I didn’t care for the reference “bro” & “cousin”. I feel the persons name could have been used. Besides that I love the series.

It all starts with a phone left in a carriage at Target but ends in an interaction where first impressions lead to hatred, but ends with a connection neither one of them saw coming. Can Conner really fall in love with the woman who he could not stand? And can Charlotte break down his walls left by the mother who threw him away and a twin he has always felt missing? These two are the best couple thus far. Charlotte and Conner both have baggage to overcome but together they are stronger and their story will tug your heart.

Charlotte and Conner are one of those couples that make you believe that love is always a good reason to heal and heal the wounds of the past.
The separation/reconciliation part felt rushed to me, but there's also no need to suffer and give up what you want when you can understand the person you love.

I love the family bonding of these cousins. Even in arguments love comes first.

Nathan's story was a blast, however, Christopher Chase is antier intrigue.

Amazing!!

This is the eighth book in this phenomenal series and what a great addition this story is.
This is a well written story which has family, friendships, loyalty, humour, witty banter, challenges, intrigue, heartbreak, emotions, and love which all leads to an entertaining, captivating, and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Connor and Charlotte

A little disappointed that the drama section reverted back to being stubborn like the Kind brothers. They should have all learned a lesson by now. That being said, love each of these books. Love the banter and chemistry.
Recap- Connor leaves his phone in Target and Charlotte finds it. They hate each other from the go. Then Charlotte gets hired on by the Kind brothers while Connor is out of town.

Conner and Charlotte are oil and water from the very start. They just rubbed each other the wrong way, and both are hiding from their past. I loved their book.

Wow! This family!

Connor Kind is an orthopedic surgeon and part owner of the family medical center. He just had a really rough run in with a gorgeous lady who happened to find his cellphone that he accidentally left in the cart at Target. Words were spoken on both sides, and thankfully the two shall never meet again. When he gets home and tells his family about his incident with that horrible woman, his brothers inform him they just hired a new psychologist and she's starting on Monday.

So when Conner goes to the clinic on Monday, he is met face to face with the new psychologist and she is none other than the gorgeous woman with the horrible temper.

Charlotte can't believe her luck. Now facing one of her new bosses, who also happens to be the jerk who lost his phone. They face off and go their separate ways. Conner's brothers ask what the heck happened? Then laugh at Conner's predicament. They both also tell him he is NOT allowed to fire her.

Conner follows her to her office where he takes over her extremely comfortable couch. She tells him not to get too comfortable because that's for her patients. They agree to play nice since they have to work together.

But both of them keep getting thrown together by business and personal get together's with Conner's family. They have all enveloped Charlotte and brought her into the family whether Conner approved or not.

Now they can't seem to stay away from each other. And there are secrets that both of them have that can tear them apart. Conner is so lost. Wanting someone is just not enough. He just can't be in that kind of relationship.

Charlotte has never felt secure enough with anyone to tell her secret and let her guard down. But there's something about Conner that makes her do just that. So when something comes between them, will they be torn apart forever, or will the family come together to put these lost souls together?

So great!!!! I need more now!!! Can't wait to hear more about the new doctor named Christian, and bring on Nathan's story! So ready!!! Thank you Sandi Lynn. This whole series has been amazing! Enjoy

There’s nothing left for me to say about the dishy Kind men. I’ve said it all. I was eagerly waiting for the next Kind cousin to shower his magic, and this book was all that I had anticipated and more. The best series I’ve read on brotherly bonding to date, I never want this to end and I want Kind Sisters series now. What say, Sandi?

Dr. Connor Kind is an orthopaedic surgeon in their Kind Medical Centre. He left his phone at Target, and while going to collect it, has an altercation with an infuriating woman after which he goes off to attend a conference. Meanwhile, his brothers hire a new psychologist, and on returning from the conference he finds that she’s none other than the crazy Target woman, Charlotte. Being outvoted by his bros, he has to endure her presence. After the initial fiery encounters, both of them find a middle ground and forge a friendship, and with the fiery chemistry, they share, soon become lovers. Now begins the fun with the Kind clan wholeheartedly enveloping her into their fold. What will happen to these two people with past issues? What is their story?

I love this family and Sandi has truly outdone herself with another fantastic couple, who are one of my favourite pairs. Charlotte is sassy, bold, brash, but a girl hiding a horrific past. Connor is cocky as they come with issues of his own. The way these two build their relationship in and out of their comfort zone, with both helping the other to heal is beautiful. You become one with them in their emotional journey. And along with the rest of the bet-loving, mad, secret-sharing crazy family of drool-worthy brothers and their even hotter partners, this is an unputdownable book. I loved the end, am so looking forward to Nathan’s story. And thank you for the surprise; for yet one more character, who I’m sure is gonna steal our heart just like the other brothers. Since I am an only child, reading about the sibling bonding here makes me wish I had such gems in my life 😔. This is a must-read series for anyone loving sibling banters and family bond.

Loved Charlotte and Conner's story! If you love a hot sexy doctor and a strong heroine this book is for you. These two had lots of chemistry as well as their fair share of emotional baggage. Their journey wasn't an easy one, but was so worth the read. Another great book in this series!

I have to say Conner’s story was absolutely fabulous.

It all started out with Conner leaving his phone in a shopping cart in Target. When he went to retrieve it he was faced with a stunning obnoxious woman Charlotte Roman. Conner goes to his brothers and calls her a physico.

Conner goes off to a medical conference and when he returns he sees that his brothers Jackson and Nathan have hired Charlotte and that’s when the daggers fly.

When time goes by and Conner and Charlotte stopped bickering with one another it shows they have feelings with one another.

Conner has bee holding back a secret about his childhood but he wouldn’t tell Charlotte even though she confided in him about why she changed her name and about what happened to her family when she was 12 years old.

Conner and Charlotte spent a fantastic day on a yacht but after that day Conner started to sabotage his relationship with Charlotte telling her he was busy. One day she was over in Sebastian’s house with the girls but earlier that day Conner said he was going to be at the hospital so she knew he wouldn’t be there. Charlotte said Conner wouldn’t be there and Sebastian called Everly out with something she came in and closed the curtains but Charlotte knew something was up she went over and seen Conner sitting down at the pit with his cousins. She approached him and asked him why did he lie to her and that then tore a big hole in their relationship and she stormed out. She told Conner not to speak to her again unless it was work related.

I loved this book from start to finish especially the new character Christian Chase I will be looking forward to reading about him in the next few books

Great story telling

It was a great story about obstacles and things. I'm kind of getting tired of kind brothers though.
Hope this saga will finish and the author will give us a new hype or something.

OMG how is it that each book in this series keeps getting better and better?! Seven Of Kind (Kind Brothers #8) is simply amazing and it’s packed with so much goodness with a fantastic storyline that will grab a hold of you and trust me, you will not want to let it go.

Conner and Charlotte are the epitome of enemies to lovers. These two doctors went at it right from the start and I loved every bit of their humorous banter. Although Conner is the fun and easy going brother, he’s emotionally and relationship challenged. Once again, Sandi Lynn created enjoyable and lovable characters and she did amazing job with Conner and Charlotte’s back stories (especially Charlotte’s story which is heartbreaking). To date, they’re my favorite couple in the series.

Seven Of A Kind is a perfect blend of humor, entertainment, hot sex scenes and emotional moments. I’m highly anticipating the last two books because if it’s going where I think it is, it will be one HELL of a twist. And I’m here for all of it!!

Loved these characters! After getting a preview in the previous book, we find that Conner had left his cell phone in a Target shopping cart, and Charlotte answered telling him to come back and get it himself as to not inconvenience her for his mistake. Frustrated by each other and happy they will never see each other again, both go back to their lives, until Charlotte gets a job opportunity at Conner’s medical center without him knowing, and when they meet again in a professional setting, they can’t help but revert to the attitudes they had when they first met. Naturally, they fall into a relationship of sorts, with them working through Charlotte’s past regarding her brother and what he did as well as Conner and his mother’s death. I found myself laughing and chuckling often as I read this book, and it made it one of the most enjoyable books I’ve read because I couldn’t put it down trying to see if these two end up together or if their trauma and pasts will win. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Gave me all the feels!!!!

Seven of a Kind gave me all the feels!! Connor and Charlotte started off as fiery as it comes..literally arguing with each other in the middle of Target as strangers. But of course, they meet again when Charlotte is hired as the new psychologist at the Kind Medical Center when Connor is out of town. Well the fireworks continue but it doesn't take long for the enemies to become more than co-workers and much more than friends. And it's really hot!! Like really hot, but Charlotte is a bit of a mystery with a past that is heartbreaking. I loved that she was so real and relatable. I felt her emotions coming off the page. Connor thought he was ready but his own issues get in the way. It's a great romance that has it all-funny moments, sweet moments, sad moments, really steamy moments, infuriating moments- all the feels. Plus, a new character at the end that is quite intriguing and the surprise ending that has me salivating for Nathan's story. 5 stars!!! You won't be disappointed. I received an ARC for my honest and voluntary review.

These Kind brother just keep getting better and better. The bond they all share is what makes them so special. They are all there for one another.
When Connor and Charlotte first meet at Target it is not a love at first sight meeting. Quite the opposite. While away at a medical conference. Charlotte is hired by Connor’s two brothers to work at their medical center. He is not too happy when he returns and learns this.
They both have a mutual attraction to one another but will not admit it. But once they finally do all bets are off.
They not only burn up the sheets in the bedroom, they are explosive outside the bedroom as well. I could not put this story down. Their building relationship is what had me glued to every word. Combine that with the rest of the Kind men and again Sandi Lynn has truly outdone herself with another fantastic couple as well as a 5-star read. I only wish these Kind men never end.

Seven of a Kind was just that .. ONE of a KIND story !! This installment of the Kind men will have you laughing, screaming and swooning all at the same time !! Even though Connor and Charlotte’s story is a tragic one it has a loving ending .. BUT .. to get to the loving ending .. with a Kind man there is always drama and heart ache !!

We all know Connor has deep emotional issues so when he starts falling for Charlotte Roman the new clinical psychologist at Kind Medical Center he doesn’t know she has some deep issues too !! But the pleasure these two bring into each other’s lives is heart felt !!

Even when you get to 50% and Connor does what every other Kind man has done .. the doubts creep in .. will make you want to scream .. DON’T LOOSE HER !!

But the end result will have you screaming .. again .. with joy !! These men keep getting better and better !! Can’t wait for Nathan !!

Sandi you did it AGAIN !! 1 million stars !!
