It was incredible how one single action could change the balance of a person’s life within seconds.
Nathan
I was an artist and one of the best plastic surgeons in Los Angeles. My business was thriving, and helping people was my specialty. Growing up, I’d endured a lot of pain where my mother was concerned. After she passed away, I still carried that pain and resentment into adulthood.
My brothers and cousins were in strong, fulfilled relationships, and I was happy for them. But it wasn’t something I envied or was looking for. I went from meaningless-to-meaningless relationships over the years. My career was too important to me and the only thing I had time for in my life and cared about. That all changed the day Mrs. Rhodes walked into the conference room where my brothers and I were in a meeting. She delivered some news to me that turned my entire world upside down. My life wasn’t just about me anymore, and I didn’t know what to do. How could I be the person Ella needed me to be when I’d sealed off the part of me that longed to be loved?
Sofia
I’d met Dr. Nathan Kind on a few occasions. Once, I was put in the wrong room at the medical center, another time at the grocery store, and again when he brought his six-year-old daughter to my dance class.
He was sexy and charming and had the attention of every mom who brought their children to dance. He flirted, I flirted, and one night of passion consumed us. We were two people whose lives had changed in an instant. He’d just found out he had a daughter, and I had ended the career I was born for. I'd found love for the first time in my life, and he was running from it.
Writing is my passion and my mission is to provide readers with romance novels that will whisk them away into another world and from the daily grind of life - one book at a time.
Nathan and Sofia. Sofia a prima ballerina, who bails on her career, her mother and her boyfriend of 8 years. She moves from NYC to Los Angeles. She meets Nathan the best plastic surgeon in Los Angeles. Ella is a daughter no one ever knew about.
Run from the love you never knew you could find in a lifetime. Another amazing story in this series you grow to love.
This is the ninth book in this phenomenal series. This is a well written story which has engaging and realistic characters, family, friendships, intrigue, twists, humour, witty banter, challenges, emotions, unexpected twists, and love which all leads to an entertaining and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
What more can I say about the Kind men? I've said it all. I was desperately waiting for Nathan’s book as Single Dad is my favourite trope and I love surprise baby stories. So you can imagine my excitement for this one. I don’t want this series to end 😔.
Nathan, one fine day, receives a shocker when a social worker walks to his cabin and delivers the staggering news of him having a 6 yr old daughter. A result of his short affair in his yesteryears, the mother was dead leaving Ella with her only relative, her father. Flabbergasted at this news, he now has to take on the responsibility of Ella and with the help of his huge family, he succeeds in doing so. He then comes to know his super smart baby girl is a certified genius with an IQ of 160 😲. Sofia is a professional ballerina who quits her successful career as it gets too suffocating for her. With the help of Shaun, she comes to LA and opens a ballet school where Nathan enrols Ella. They meet and there are fireworks. What happens hereon, is what you need to read.
I absolutely loved Nathan; his dilemma of how he would bring up a child, his ownership of Ella and his unconditional love. The way he took to Ella and she to him was just like fish to water. Sofia is talented, funny, emotional and her bonding with her besties is adorable. She and Nathan have an instant attraction and she falls for him and Ella hook, line and sinker. Also the way the Kind family envelops her is what we love to read. The brotherly bonding is again a highlight here with how they all come together to take care of Ella. She is one of the best kid characters I have read. She’s a genius, funny, with a smart mouth, multi-talented with a quest for learning and a fireball. She and Lily together are a hoot. The Kind men stand no chance against them both. I loved her equation with Nathan, what a father-daughter pair. I loved the prelude to the next story, and am eagerly waiting for it now. Bring it soon Sandi. One of THE BEST series I have read, this has to be on your tbr.
I just love books that have a secret child or surprise baby theme and what a sweet and rewarding surprise Ella is to Dr. Nathan Kind. Eight Of A Kind Kind Brothers #9) is amazing with a heartwarming, entertaining and emotional storyline. It also has the perfect amount of funny moments as Ella is a six year old genius who’s witty and quite hilarious and the banter between the Kind family is great too.
Sofia is a sweet and beautiful retired prima ballerina who relocated to California to open her ballet studio. After she and Nathan have a meet cute moment, their connection is immediate and sparks are ignited. I simply loved everything about them. And in true Sandi Lynn, she throws in plot twist that has me highly anticipating Nine Of A Kind.
My heart just went out to Ella and I could feel tears straight away. I so love Sofia and happy she managed to break free.
I was in stitches with Ella. I just adore Ella and Lily together.
Nathan’s story had me hooked as much as his siblings and cousins and I was correct in my guess on who Christian actually was. Cannot wait for his story. This book had every emotion in it.
I love Sandi Lynn's books but the excessive use of d-bag, and the winks is too much. The stories are similar as always. Girl an guy meet, one or the other has issues with relationships, then the guy does/says something stupid. Gotta love it. The parents or parent is always dead of a car/plans accident or cancer or whatever. But the word d-bag??? Consistently, I don't think there's a man around who would call another man that. That's my big issue with her books.
I really like the Kind brother and the cousins. Their closeness is a good thing. It's a shame she killed off Henry. My intention was to read the first book, but I kept going.

Nathan has issues. His mom had him to recover from losing a baby, but once he was here she totally ignored him. He couldn't take the place of the baby she lost. So he goes into relationships with the mind set that they will treat him like his mother did so he pushes them away before they can get close. Sofia moves to town, starts a new business, and almost immediately hooks up with Nathan. She falls fast, he screws her over and then they make up. Nathan does have a surprise daughter Ella, who it so happens is a genius and she knows it all.
Another story of Kind men, born to make the love of their lives suffer and then beg for forgiveness. I was surprised at how quickly Nathan became a father. I didn't like the way he handled his relationship with Sophia and she was too quick to forgive him for the damage he did to her. Anyway, that Kind gene needs to blossom in order to find happiness. I'm dying for the next book. Christian is going to make us suffer.
When Dr. Nathan Kind meets the daughter he never knew was alive, his life is changed forever. But when ballerina Sofia enters the mix the three seem to be exactly what the others need. With a wonderful heart warming storyline and just the right amount of laughter from Ella this was a wonderful addition to a series that just keeps getting better and better.
I really did enjoy reading about another Kind family member. I loved Nathan and Sofia story. His daughter Ella is a right gem. I can’t say to much about this book because I don’t want to spoil it for everyone else, but I will say this is a must read.
Excellent, I could not put the book down, so much Mystery, A lot of suspense, compassion, romance and love. A very close knitting family Amazing. A Must Read.
Estos libros son tan rapidos y divertidos, lo que me hace leerlo es toda la familia que siempre está presente en cada protagonista, además de los hijos o hijas que aparecen también!!!
Much like all the other Kind men, this one was also a good read. We could use a bit of a different drama section by now..as one of them have to learn from the over abundance of relatives that go through the same thing. But great chemistry and banter and entertaining.
Probably my favorite book in the series so far. Loved how Nathan adjusted to live with a daughter and men Ella gave him a run for his money love her, Sofia fit perfectly in their puzzle can’t wait to see what’s next for the kind family
Nathan gets the surprise of a lifetime when he finds out he has a daughter he didn't know about. Sofia is a ballerina taking back her life. Both are going through change in their life when they meet. But Nathan doesn't know how to deal with the change and his growing feelings for her. He has not dealt with the baggage of the past that is holding him hostage. Plus, having a genius daughter on top of everything. Will Sofia give him another chance?

Holy cow! Loved Sofia and Nathan's story. Beautifully written and heartfelt. The chemistry was off the charts with these two. Their journey wasn't an easy one, but so so worth the read. I loved Ella, she was absolutely priceless! There's a twist that I definitely didn't see coming and I can't wait to read Nine of a kind!
