This was a very short story. I read it in 45 minutes. Would have been even quicker but my kids kept talking to me 🤣 It wasn’t really exciting but if you’ve ever been in love and know that passion it hits you in the heart. Without giving away too much, it’s a sweet story that explains what true love is, what soulmates are.

Love the title. Tracey and Noah suffer a separation soon after they get married. Can Tracey find Noah? One of the sweetest romances and a bit of the supernatural. Now I want to read Marlene's story.

This is a short read. It shows what love is after all. Great story. Not a lot of action but what we all want is all consuming love no matter where you are.

Linger by Melissa Crispin is a short story. On its face, it’s a sweet romance, and it is, with a surprise.

Twenty-year-old Tracey and Noah, who met as kids and believe they are soulmates, get married. Everything is going great until a sudden obstacle comes between them. Without giving away the story or spoilers, besides the romance, there's a lesson in forgiveness.

This was a quick read but in that short time, I became connected to the characters and cared what happened to them. Plus, there’s a dog. A beautiful golden retriever, who, as a dog lover, was a nice addition.

A good read for a cold, winter afternoon with a cup of tea. I enjoyed it.

I received a complimentary ARC in exchange for an honest review.

VERY QUICK READ! As in I read it in 35 minutes. Yes, I read fast, but it is simply that quick a read.

I enjoyed the story, but I knew within the first few pages what was going on, and when the story confirmed my thoughts it was the end.

I don't want to tell anything about the book, but it was an enjoyable tale, but I feel like character creation, was a side thought. I also felt like the book is incomplete.

I received the book for free and I do thank the Author for allowing me to read and review this book. I enjoyed it, and it may be the perfect book for some, but for me it simply didn't have enough oomph to it.

Tracey and Noah . . .

Tracey Thompson adores her soul mate, Noah Martin. Never doubting that they were meant to be together, they became engaged as soon as they could. Neither knew what short time they would have together. If only he had listened when she suggested they pull over… if only…

This is a very short story but the author does an amazing job of letting the reader actually experience the strong feelings between the two of them. What really happened? Will she ever find the peace that keeps eluding her?

I loved the concept of this short story. It appears to be like any love story but then surprises you (but not the dog! - always love it when there is a dog involved) and it instead makes you think about fate, guilt, and the 'happily ever after'.

A short emotional read about love. Tracey and Noah have been in love since they were twelve, now against everyone's advice, they're getting married.

I loved the short story. There was a moment when I hated one of the characters but then found out what truly happened. I was worried starting because everything seemed perfect. Noah and Tracy, we're happy. I was right to be worried because something bad happened. I felt happy and sad reading. I also had a what moment at the end.
