Marriage of Convenience….This was such a sweet love story….I enjoy Rem & Bretish meeting and developing a friendship/marriage….I loved how Bretish carried herself and help Remington turn into a better person. Really cute story.

When I read the synopsis, it was easy enough to read between the lines and know what was going on with Rem. So, I was pretty hesitant to read this book but, I’m so glad I did. Rem is secretly battling cancer. Making money and building generational wealth has been the number one goal his entire adult life but, now, Rem has no one to share the spoils of his riches with. So, with no wife or heir in sight and feeling like he has nothing to live for, he’s opted not to seek treatment for his cancer. Bretish is an overworked, underpaid, and unappreciated event planner just trying to keep her head above water. He ex-husband has left her with a mountain of debt that seems like she’s never going to crawl out from under. Fate said, “Hold on Lil Mama. I got you.” While setting up for a New Years gala, Bretish falls from a ladder and right into the lap of Rem Sorreli and this moment changes her life in the most spectacular way. What happens afterwards is nothing short of a magical fairytale. The journey Bretish and Rem embark on is romantic, sweet, and loving. The way they constantly affirmed one another and the way she took care of Rem while he was going through treatment just made my heart flutter. When Bretish said, “in sickness and in health” she meant that shyt. The Last Ring was the perfect marriage of convenience read. It gives you unconditional love, passion, faith, and unyielding support. I definitely recommend you read this book.

Y’all!!! Why is my heart beating like it has zero sense after reading this amazing story! I can’t even deal! After receiving life changing news Rem is forced to come to terms with the life he’s built for himself the past 32 years. Realizing that work and continuing on his family’s legacy has consumed him, he’s yet to have the opportunity to truly live and more importantly love. Instead of spending another holiday alone he decides to spend some time and the Galleria hotel in order to feel a closeness to his late mother. Of all the things he probably expected to find at the hotel, he never could have imagined for love to literally fall into his lap. As a result of meeting Bretish, Rem felt parts of him he’d shut down liven back up in a matter of days. Bretish breathed life back into him a gave him a pure love worth fighting for. This was a beautiful story and I love their journey! It was magical and majestic and you are seriously missing out if you don’t read this story asap!

Who knew being clumsy would land you into a marriage of convenience with a billionaire?!? Rem and Bretish were magical to experience. They were both walking through not living for their own reasons but fate put them together in the most hallmark way! (I love a hallmark moment lol) The journey these two go on to falling in love is so sweet! I love a good marriage of convenience and the love follows even through sickness and health they figure it out and the love keeps growing! Again so sweet and I definitely recommend this book! Lastly, I loved how Bretish didn’t take ish from anyone including Rem! That smart mouth is what sold it for him, I know it!

In sickness and in health, Whew this was good. I adore Bretish and Rem's journey. A wonderful, magical, and charming short love story. It reminded me of a hallmark movie.

I almost shelved this book, as I believed it was a seasonal read. Soooooo glad I didn't! I was prepared for doom and gloom, sadness and such, as I read between the lines of what was going on with Rem! But, ma'am this was not that! What I found was a beautiful story of two people finding love, at just the perfect time in their lives! Rem had come to terms with his diagnosis, and was regretfully making preparations for his companies. He was serious about his legacy, and wanted desperately to have someone to share his life with! The loneliness was consuming, and he was on the brink of giving up! He was led to the Galleria Hotel to be around people, but was granted so much more! Bretish, was a sassy creative, doing a job she loved, but worked for an asshole! She wanted so much more from her life, after watching her parents struggle. She felt the walls closing in on her, and tried to make sense of things, as she was left holding the bag by her trash ass ex! Bretish meeting Rem was a bit dramatic, but their souls tied the moment their eyes collided! Rem immediately felt a connection to her, and felt alive for the first time in a long time! Bretish, was attracted to this man, but he was a guest; so hands off! Fate was not trying to hear it ma'am! It said full speed ahead! These two were adorable! Rem was sure of himself, exuded power and flaunted that BDE! 😂 What he knew for sure was that he wanted Bretish! Now, Bretish couldn't believe that this man was into her! Why? But, she couldn't help the pull that she felt in his presence, and quickly gave in. I loved how fiercely protective they were of each other! Come with the games, and you get dealt with Tia! Ughh..... Love, love, love this story, and hope we see these two again soon! Great read! 👍👍👍

Have you read a story that had you in so deep that when it ended, you just sat there in a trance? Well, this storyline took sharp turns with the volume turned all the way live. When Bretish fell literally into Rem's lap, that was the signal for me; that was the plot twist that let me know the author had something deeper in mind for this edition. I like when a wealthy person doesn't use it for evil. Rem had enough money and power to be a complete donkey, but he was far from that title.
I liked the fact that the main theme was never lost in the storyline. No spoiler... Rem came to the resort to rest and recalculate; he never expected to find a reason to fight his circumstances with a new willpower. Bretish stole my heart with her level of kindness. She walked away like a thief, and when she decided to be with Rem, I told her just to keep it; it was no use to me anymore. That's it... You need to read this story...

This is the kind of love stories I so so love. It was extremely sweet, flowed easily and beautifully. I am not a big fan of marriages of convenience trope, but this was really cute. I was wondering when Rem was going to share his life altering news.

The Last Ring by Cassandra B is about event planner Bretish Parker and CEO of GEM Enterprises Remington Sorreli. An incoming snowstorm causes Rem to bunker down at The Galleria Hotel. The hotel is nostalgic for him, memories of happier times with his deceased parents, plus it beats going home to an empty mansion with his diagnosis lingering on his mind. Bretish is facing her own obstacles, overworked/unappreciated at work and paying off the debts of her slimy ex husband but not for much longer! Bretish literally falls into the arms of Rem while setting up for New Years Eve, this was such a sweet meet cute and certainly set the tone for the book 🥰 From the moment Rem catches Bretish he knows he wants to spend the rest of his life with her, she’s the one he wants to carry on his legacy. Rem’s presence is everything, talk about BDE 🫦 He’s mister fix it, just what Bretish needs. A kind and loving Billionaire is rare but if anyone deserves him it’s Bretish. Bretish is such a sweetheart, it’s no surprise that Rem is immediately enamoured with her. The give and take between these two is beautiful. Fate did its thing with this marriage of convenience! This story provided me with everything I needed, it was the best way to start my New Year! I highly recommend you pick this one up!

Loved this. Bretish had been through so much from the loss of her parent to the failure of her marriage. She is working as an event planner and a fall at work opens her up to a new life with wealthy CEO Remington. The moment their eyes meet it was magic. Remington knew what he wanted and Definitely went after it not only business wise but with Bretish as well. One secret threatens to change everything. This was a great quick read that gets you involved with both MCs.

This story was so touching and just imagine how many people do just what REM do give up all because they feel like that don’t have any reason to live. But then that special person just drops in your lap and now you have everything that you ever wanted. It’s an awesome read great job

Loved it!
Bret is just trying to survive the aftermath of losing her parents and divorcing her ex husband. Remington is coming to term with life challenges and what that means for the future. Bret takes a fall and Rem catches her forever changing both of their lives. I loved this story. The chemistry between the two was evident. The story was well paced and well written.

I’m not sure i was prepared for this book. In all ways i knew it would be good but the sweetness of it caught me off guard. Some people don’t like the insta love or falling fast but i love it. It was so wonderful watching these two create a foundation of love. I’m not sure how but this was everything i didn’t know i needed. The reassurance and the love. It all was wonderful. Thank you for writing it. It was perfect in my eyes. It had me smiling and laughing. It gave me all the good feelings that i needed to get me through. This first drop of the new year did not miss

Warm & Safe
Omg !! This was what I needed and didn’t even realize it. Like it made me feel warm and safe while I reading it. It was sooo good. It was honest raw & real. Loved loved loved it ! My only negative is that I’m spoiled and I could have done with it being longer. I wanted to hear about them in parenthood and them celebrating New Years again together and stuff lol. Of course it wasn’t needed b/c this was everything ! Maybe in the future we will get an update from B & REM ❤️

I’ll always love a rich MMC. This book has potential to be good but there’s too much cringe for it to get 3 stars. It unironically used orbs…the words they used for her private parts, and the way some of the dialogue was written all was just 😃. Also it annoyed me that she got pregnant right away even though it was part of the deal and it didn’t seem realistic how close they were after only knowing each other for such a short amount of time. Rem was a great book bf and he’s rich so I love him even more.

Listen here, this book had me at page one. It’s sweet love with a handful of nasty. The emotional mindset of Rem had me sad but Ms. Bretish came along and fell into her world and changed everything. Trust me you should read this book.

This was a beautiful, sweet and kind of sad love story. I loved the connection between Rem and Bretish. She literally fell into his lap and awakened something in him that he had allowed to go dormant following his diagnosis. They both gave the other exactly what they needed and picked up the slack where the other was not able to. What started out as a marriage of convenience ended with them both finding the love of a lifetime and all that they had hoped and dreamed of before thinking they would never find it. I highly recommend this story.

This book took me through so many emotions. I absolutely LOVEDDDD this book. You will do yourself a disservice if you don't take the time out to read this masterpiece. Kudos to the author because she created an amazing story that will stick with me for a lifetime.
