Words Between Us
Ava Patterson is an incoming college freshman who is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in English. As many student do, they tend to go out to parties or socialize to make friends. This lonesome girl has other visions in mind. If she isn’t catching up on the latest TV shows, writing, or reading, there’s no point in going out.
With the campus being quite small, she ends up making her way to the library almost every day and with each passing week there’s a new book. As she puts one book down, another one rises in her hand. Just as she makes her way to the romance section of books, the librarian stops her with interests that she might find this new book rather tasteful.
Ava wastes no time to take the book home, but what happens when this magical story comes to light? One day as the book is plopped on her bed, what happens when she comes back to her dorm and a fictional character is standing right before her eyes? Calvin Henry, the supernatural jix who lives inside the book, Words Between Us, comes to light and has now entered Ava's new world.
Will they come up with a way to get him back inside the book, or will he end up adapting to this new world?
