Via cyberspace, a spirit returns to Earth seeking vengeance for the death she suffered in the historic Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire of 1911. Needing a mortal to help her, she chooses a pliable girl who turns out less cooperative than she had counted on, a girl whose dreams begin to suggest that a higher destiny might await her. Like the living, the dead inhabit their own (but different) reality. Like us, they often disagree among themselves. In this story, two of them have competing visions for the girl’s destiny. Bodies pile up as collateral damage while the intended victims dodge their fate. Bill Armstrong has tossed together a melange of odd characters from this world and the next, just to see what happens.What happens is serious fun.
