The actual main story was boring but loved the side story

This time around the game is more complicated and less bloody, but still uses a lot of brain power (I certainly wouldn't have survived in the first game...). The new characters are interesting and the pace a bit slower. The action is plenty though. The extra story is entertaining.

I wish they would at least finish current game without putting side stories in between.(the side stories are awesome though.)

La única razón por la que a ningún volumen le he dado las 5 estrellas es porque todavía confío en que me puede sorprender aún más de lo que ha hecho. Igualmente en este tomo tanto en la historia principal como paralela quedé impresionada con el ingenio ¿y maldad? de los organizadores desde otra perspectiva.

Finally feel like the pace has picked up a bit and I'm interested to see how they're going to get out of this. I'm hopeful for Usagi and Arisu. Very worried for our hat wearing friend. I like that Usagi decided to gain a new perspective on life.

But they need to stop with the side stories. I get it! They're good! They are engaging! I LIKE them! But they interrupt the flow so badly. I like the mini life lessons in them though.

super excited to hopefully see some of the characters from the side-stories show up in the main one, as they seem very interesting.

the actions is amping up though still a bit slow for my tastes - we'll see what happens next!

Aunque a veces me desperan las historias alternas. Los juegos que ponen dentro de borderland son impecables ya que rutor sabe manejar perfectamente el dolor, los fantasmas del pasado, la fuerza y el motivo para vivir y conocer el mundo de la muerte.

Come from Netflix series because I can't wait for ss2! Finished the whole manga within a few days and it was such a pleasure experience

The idea is briliant, still haven't wrapped my head around how the author was able to come up with such awesome and meaningful story like that. It really makes me question my true identity on the verge of death, when I have to make choices that I bet my life on. I think I'll never know who I really am

I like all the characters. It's a shame that the 2 best friends of Arisu die too soon. I wanted to see them more in the story, but like the story said at some point, their deaths are " necessary evil" for Arisu to mature.
Shibuki was a calculating person and will do anything to hold on to her life. I cried when she smiles and embraces Chunta during her last few seconds of the hide and seek game. It's like she finally accepts her fate that she is about to die. It was such a hard moment for Shibuki to let go considering what she did in the past, but she did it, and at least she was happy in her last moment

- Ännu en sidestory, om en girl highschool student. Hon var med i ett game som refererade till att hon sagt innan hon kom till the Borderland att hon hatade lukten av grillat kött, så de fick henne att köra en bana där man ska springa från stekhett vatten, som då bränner ens kött. Brutalt. Hennes karaktär gör mig riktigt nyfiken och jag hoppas att hon kommer att möta huvudkaraktärerna snart. Men det finns möjlighet att hon är alltför självisk och inte ser något värde i dem, vilket är farligt.
- The Game mot kungen continues, Usagi visade att de kommer att vinna då de inte överlever för sig själva utan för att de andra ska överleva.

Though he loses a teammate, Ginji's plan has stellar returns. He and two of his teammates gain 10,000 points each, making them nearly invincible for the game's battles where the higher score always wins. The outlook is grim as Arisu's team loses battle ofter battle. He has a daring plan - to attack the opposing base with a divide and conquer tactic.

In the side story Heiya Akane is the only survivor when a hot spring is set to erupt during a game. She must still escape the venue to win, but her injuries make her feel more and more desperate. Her experience is a fortifying one when we see her many days later, still alive and turned into a formidable survivor.

Side story yang diceritakan di volume ini adalah tentang seorang siswi SMA bernama Akane Heiya yang berada di Borderland dan langsung mendapatkan permainan untuk bisa melarikan diri dari goncangan yang berasal dari dalam lubang besar di stadion. Ternyata, dari sekian banyak peserta, hanya ia sendiri yang masih hidup meskipun perutnya sempat tertancap besi panjang. Ia pun bangkit dari reruntuhan bangunan dan berusaha mencari jalan keluar. Setelah akhirnya ia berhasil, ternyata salah satu kakinya patah dan akan ditampilkan bahwa ia memutuskan untuk mengamputasinya.

Cómo me van a presentar a un personaje como Akane Heiya, que promete UN MONTÓN y no me van a mostrar más? AAAAAAAAAAA
Realmente estoy anonadada porque los organizadores están más volados que los participantes, esto es TREMENDO.

Igualmente, el juego de "los puntos" me siguió aburriendo un poco, demasiado largo. Además de que no entiendo una mierda las cuentas, las estrategias, NADA ASJAKS

Le jeu principal attise cette fois bien plus mon intérêt avec le coup de punch que l'auteur y met. De plus, je trouve que les dessins participe cette fois entièrement à le mettre en valeur. En revanche, les histoires secondaires qui prennent plus de la moitié du tome je dis non même si je ne suis pas contre du développement de persos - je veux totalement revoir Heiya dans la suite !

I always thought the 7 of spades game was unfair in the tv show but boiling death was so much gorier and tough to read in the manga. Way more details and images, genuinely felt a bit sick at the end there.

Also the main story is very interesting, I remember it being on of my favorite episodes. I like how emotional and thought out it is.

The King of Clubs game continues at full swing. The game is getting to its final moments, so the next volume is going to be intense! Heiya Akane is also introduced in the Seven of Spades sidestory. Another great read. 5/5

La historia principal está bien, siguen jugando contra el rey de tréboles y no es de mí preferencia un juego donde se la pasan corriendo y pensando estrategias. La side story me pareció más interesante, el primer juego de Akane donde pude sentir todo el dolor físico que ella sentía.

The pacing of this series, with all the side stories, is driving me crazy. They are interesting (and relevant), but I feel like their presence, or rather their placement, negatively impacts the main plot.
