Escaping Northern Virginia, Talon and his small group of survivors are now confronted with the challenge of rescuing the rest of their group. With the country in complete chaos, the choices they make will determine their next steps. With enemies closing in, Talon must decide to stay and fight to help out his friends or should he just walk away and head to his family. Choices always have consequences.
Growing up in the Ozarks, David spent a great deal of his time growing up with his Grandfather, learning how to fish, hunt, and trap. Joining the Marine Corps (0341) at the age of 17, he enjoyed his time in the grunts, but switched over to Counterintelligence after picking up Sergeant. Staying with the USMC for just over 20 years, he retired in 1998 at the age of 38, attaining the rank of CWO-2.
After retiring he has worked for a few different government agencies and as a contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan. Still active as a contractor, he enjoys writing in what spare time he can find, with his first published book coming out in May 2019, “Lone Star Odyssey-First Steps”. His second book in the series "Obstacles" came out in December 2019. Followed by the third in the series, Choices in 2022. Book four, Decisions, was released in August of 2023. Book five of the series should be released early spring of 2024.

Book is well written, great characters both good and bad and the story line is very well written. I have enjoyed the series emensely so far and look forward to next book in series!
It is an excellent chapter in the series. The story and characters draw you in. It's definitely a page turner. However, in the future, perhaps a little more time in editing and review. There were quite a few spelling and grammatical errors. But it's still worth reading .
Great series, I enjoyed each book better the last!
I know, he's a bit of an equipment snob, but his choices are the same as I would make (hopefully not sounding like advertisement as much as he does). In any case, it's a good read.
FINALLY SHE GOT HERS! I was never so happy to see that scum get hers! The only bad thing is that she didn’t get tortured to death in the worst way possible. But that isn’t David’s style. Can’t wait to grab the next book and TYVM for this one!
I want a part four about the family in Texas. What happens next Story line great. Characters development excellent. Keep writing and I will keep reading
