Absolutely loved the graphics in the book and was really upset when I was reading it and discovered it’s
Teaching children inaccurate information. In this book, it states that archaeologists dig up dinosaur bones. They in fact do not, and I would know having a degree in archaeology and many people have thought that throughout my life. Paleontologists dig up dinosaur bones. Archaeologists dig up human bones. Next time you want to write a book, you might want to fact check…

It's an adorable book with a happy feeling. This book makes me wish I had a sister, but it also reminds me of my cousin and me. We spent a lot of time together when we were younger. I have a brother, and we always loved different activities. Children would enjoy this heartwarming story, especially if a new sibling arrived. I enjoyed the bright colors of the illustrations. Children will enjoy seeing the illustrations with the imaginative games the characters are playing.

2 stars (It was okay)

Not for me.

The rhyming was more annoying than lyrical. The story is way way too saccharine.

I found the illustrations kind of confusing. There is the main pair of girls that the story is about but then also other pairs/groups of siblings that sometime are the main focus of the page even though the text is about the main two girls.

So again, not for me.

The rhyming text has weird syntax and flow, and this book would be much better if the authors hadn't tried to make it rhyme. The illustrations and message are lovely, however, and I appreciated the note at the end about how the authors based this on their families.

Two sisters fall in love with their new little family members even though they are not what they expected and they come to realize not everyone needs to be the same. Love will always come first. A nice lesson conveyed in this sweet book about family.

I wanted to like this, but it was a rhyming book, and the rhyming seemed very forced to me. The illustrations had beautiful colors, but it just seem kind of strange to me when the middle of the book was filled with mermaids and giraffes. So it was okay, but I didn't think it was great.

This book captures the energy of siblings and differences. When siblings can appreciate each other for who they are, there can be so much joy. For adults and children alike, this aspiration is hope-filled.

2 sisters adjust to having a little brother and a new baby girl cousin. Based on the authors' children. The message is that there's always room to love more. Love is infinite.
