I almost gave this book a 4 but that ending left my mouth on the floor. Shaka is a closeted psychopath with sadistic leanings, desperate to come out but unwilling to do so in order to keep his CEO persona in good standing. The wives of Shaka and Smitty are seemingly unfulfilled and at times miserable. Wale, my goodness is that monkey wrench we get in our lifetime. I truly think this Author has a sadistic bondage background but I digress, great job sir.
This story has so many twists! Author R Coxton has brought is yet another story that keeps you intrigued and shines a light on mental health in the African American community. This journey takes a winding road through the lives of several characters who for one reason or another are living tortured lives and I did not see the end coming! Thank you Author for this book looking forward to the next!
Wow! R. Coxton this was amazing. You delivered a twist i never saw coming. This was a Sadistic dysfunctional love story for sure. A woman will do just about anything for the man she loves until she has had enough. Well done R. Coxton!
Some call it love and others call it crazy but when you can love someone past their craziness I guess it’s a form of love which is what this story describes with all of the twists and turns that are thrown throughout the storyline.
I could not put this book down, definitely a page turner. I was definitely surprised. All I could do was shake my damn head when it came to Shaka. Thanks for another good read. I recommend this book a thousand times over!
This dude is a black Jeffery Dahmer. The women that loved him was what made me not wanna put this book down. It was that interesting to understand Violet’s motivations for dealing with Shaka’s bs. And I’m happy about what she did to nip it in the bud.
This was definitely an interesting read with lots of twists and turns. The craziness of this book left me shaking my head. The ending was a surprise. I enjoyed reading this book.
Wow!! This book had me on the edge of my chair saying all these characters are dysfunctional. lots of lying and killing. I'm still shaking my head at the ending
