The security guard and the sexy hacker -- it's starting to be thing in romantic suspense. Nina, an on the run mafia princess turned hacker, is a believable blend of intelligence and vulnerability, who only exhibits on TSTL moment. Austin, the ex-military owner of the security firm is believable as an entrepreneur attempting to balance the needs of his business against his attraction to a woman with a compromised past. Austin's wise-cracking brothers add a dimension and dynamic that keeps the story moving as well as a set up for what I suspect will be a continuing series.

I really liked the friendship between Austin and Nina because it was so sweet.. I also liked seeing them getting closer as the story goes along because it was amazing to see both of them happy..

Wow…the continuing saga of the Southern Alpha Romance series and now on to Larissa’s five brothers and the Six Points Tactical & Security firm and…some more HOT sexy men to steam up the pages…..

Austin Flint, the oldest brother to Larissa (Denied Book 4), hot, sexy, take charge, CEO of the Six Points Tactical & Security firm and Nina Petrov, the cyber tech protégé to Austin’s sister Larissa has been on the run and hiding from her family aka the Russian Mafia. No one other than Larissa knows who she really is.

When Nina come to a high class fundraiser to help Austin and Six Points get information for some down and dirty dealings and Austin sees her, he knows she really is Trouble in a Tight Dress and that he wants her no matter how she is dressed …..to the nines or in her usual jeans and t-shirt...that is until they almost get caught trying to tap into their host computer and he kisses her and boy do the sparks fly! ! !

As they are making the rounds in the room she sees her father’s head of security wondering why he is at the fundraiser but she has changed her appearance since she left the family so she hopes he doesn’t recognize her….but alas that is not the case as he does recognize her and now her brother Ivan wants her back in the family fold and will do “anything” to make that happen.

This book has suspense, lust, romance, half-truths, twists and turns and a fast paced story line that will keep you reading from the first page until the very last word….my only question is who will the next Flint brother be to get his story????

Lori Sjoberg is a new author I found by accident while searching through my KOBO, and I am pleased that I did. I enjoyed her writing style and her portrayal of her characters and their interactions. Trouble in a Tight Dress is well-written and researched by Lori Sjoberg. I also like her description of the settings, which allowed me to imagine being part of the book's pot.

Readers of Trouble in Tight Dress will understand the importance of having good digital literacy to protect their computers and phones. They will also learn how everyone chooses a form of art that suits their needs.

I recommend this book.

Me gustó mucho y me encantó la dinámica entre los protagonistas, este hombre protector y obsesionado con el trabajo, y esta chica fuerte con un pasado oscuro del que escapa. Aunque como parecen venir de otra saga anterior (por lo menos otros personajes sí, los protagonistas no sé), y saltamos directo al momento en que se enamoran (no tan directo en realidad), contándonos que llevan más de un año trabajando juntos y blabla, se siente un poco instalove (no lo es, porque en teoría se conocen, pero ya me entienden). Así que 3,5 estrellas

Después de un tiempo, estos libros de suspenso romántico ya se me hacen todos muy parecidos, en tramas y protagonistas masculinos siempre siguiendo una misma línea, vienen de pasados que quieren dejar atrás, no han encontrado a "la indicada" y por supuesto, no se quieren enamorar, pero terminan cayendo hasta el fondo (que amo mucho). Por lo menos nos muestran protagonistas femeninas que no esperan ser rescatadas, que es lo que varía un poco. La trama de este libro es buena y el pasado de la protagonista se trabaja bien, es interesante, aunque el final se sintió un poco conveniente para acabar (podrían haber pasado cosas peores, quizás, pero es mi cosa jajaj)

Recomendada para pasar el tiempo.

¿Encontraré al libro de suspenso romántico que llegue a las cinco estrellas? Lo averiguaremos, comenzando por no buscar en los primeros libros de sagas/trilogías que están gratis en amazon. Ay, me tientan estos libros con portadas poco discretas y bien spicy jajaj

A very apt title for this book! I really enjoyed reading this book and the rest of the books in this series! It had all the elements that I love in a book such as romance, suspense, overcoming the odds, humor & an HEA! Austin Flint & Nina Petrov are the main characters & also work together at Austin's company. Even though they are intensely attracted to each other they know they can't act on it because it would invite all kinds of "trouble" !! When Nina's past catches up to her she has to tell Austin who she is & that her brother is the head of their Russian Mafia family & wants her to come back home and he'll do anything by any means necessary to do it. While Austin is very angry & feels betrayed he realizes that he loves her & wants her in his life and is willing to help her. Nina loves him too, but she can't risk his life and the lives of his family so she decides to run. But she realizes that she has to stop running & deal with her past if she is to ever have the kind of life she so desperately wants, a life with Austin in it. Together they along with Austin's brothers & sister devise a plan to get her brother out of her life. This is a book well worth reading and why I feel that it's worth a 5 🌟 rating!!

I love stories about ex-military men who are in security so when I read the blurb about Austin Flint heading a security company I knew I had to read it. I'm so glad I did! This was a great book with lots of action, and romance, too.

Austin had always fought his attraction to Nina because she was his employee. But when her brother, the head of a Russian Mafia family, found her and wanted her to come back home, Austin knew he couldn't let her go. But nobody said 'no' to Nina's brother so he expected her to do as she was told and go home with him. Even though Austin was angry with Nina for not telling him about her ties to the Mafia, he and his brothers and sister came up with a plan to get Nina's brother to leave her alone. And the action begins. While they were carrying out their plan, Austin and Nina's feelings had gotten stronger.

If you like action-packed romantic suspense, you'll like this book.

This is the second book I've read from this author and I must say, it does not disappoint. Trouble In A Tight Dress is a spectacular romantic suspense by Lori Sjoberg. Ms. Sjoberg has provided readers with a book that's well-written and a cast of characters that make it a joy to read. Austin is a Marine Veteran and now is the head of a security firm. Nina works for Austin's security firm but is ready to run when her brother finds her. Nina and Austin's story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Lori Sjoberg soon. Trouble In A Tight Dress is book 1 of the Six Points Security Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Couldn’t put it down

Austin, owner and operated of Six Points Tactical & Security along with his brothers and sister, is a former Marine and did several tours in Afghanistan. Nina is Larissa’s ( Austin’s sister ) assistant and is an excellent hacker. Nina is hiding some humdingers of a secret and it comes out when her brother tries to kidnap her. But Nina is a little smarter than the thugs that knocked her out and she escapes and calls Austin. Between keeping Nina safe and fighting his feelings for her, Austin has his work cut out for him. Nina is taken again and Austin will not stop until he has her back.

Action, suspense, and sex. Austin and Nina are made for each other. Both are loyal and protective of their loved ones.

Austin and his employee Nina give in to their attraction after she’s kidnapped by her Russia mafia boss brother. For a smart woman, Nina made some dumb decisions. When she files a police report about the kidnapping she doesn’t tell the police (or anyone else) about her brother. Neither she nor Austin insist on protecting her roommates even though they know what Ivan is capable of. And then she goads her brother in a no-win situation? Yikes. I liked Austin more, although he needed a flaw. Fast paced with lots of chemistry. I appreciated that the author didn’t drag out the suspense past the point of enjoyment and that the intimate scenes were tastefully (sparingly) done.

A few glitches, but a great story

This story needs one more run through a proofreader's hands to catch the handful of glitches and inconsistencies that pull the reader from a lovely narrative. The author writes a great story punctuated by humor, suspense, a couple of TSTL moments, and well-written romance. Overall, very well done.

This series has changed a little. The earlier books were generally set around an equestrian farm while we now seem to be focussed on the family running a security business. It does give it a bit of a different feel and I'm not sure I'd have lumped it all together in one series.

Having said that, the book is still really good. I loved Nina and her shady past as well as Austin and his family. There's a bit more danger and action in this book than in previous ones. The story was well-written and highly entertaining. Looking forward to the next one.

Senator Benjamin Trask mansion (fundraiser). The 2 of them were caught in his office. Only one thing left to do.
They untangled from the embrace as the person shut the door behind them.
Nina, Dorcas (f, roommate), Shailene (MS engineering student, Nina’s roommate), Kenzie (Shailene’s friend), & Caleb (Shailene’s BF) were out celebrating Nina’s birthday.
Nina had been kidnapped, but now was free.
What did Luther (kid, informant) tell Austin & Nate over dinner?
It seems Austin, & Nina were having out of this word sex.
Shailene had been attacked. EMT’s took her to ER, & now she is in ICU.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written cloak-&-dagger thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. It wasn’t as exciting as I hoped so I will only rate it at 4/5 stars.

The book is suspenseful, sexy, intriguing with a strong plot & a great family bound.
Marine veteran Austin Flint fought it in Afghanistan, and now protects on his own terms in his country, He is the head of Six Points Tactical & Security. Along with his Older Brother Wade who was a DEA agent. Nate an ex COP, TY the comedian of the brothers. but knows his martial arts & security design Along with their only Sister Larissa who is the hacker genius of the Flint family.
Larissa is the one who hired their cyber security expert Nina Petrov, Nina is a smart mouth. with a frame that will distract any man. That man that does that for her is her employer Austin Flint.
Besides being off limits because he is her boss. There is also the secret that only Larissa knows. The fact that she is running from the Mafia because she happens to be the Mafia Princess.
Who has now been discovered after working a mission for Six points. She has been discovered by her brother Ivan Petrov second in charge. To keep her friends & family safe she needs to run again. Like she has been doing since she was 17 yrs. old. But it's a bit hard when she knows that she considers the Flint family as her family, It also doesn't help that Austin the tough, hunk she is in love with will do anything to keep her safe. Though after being kidnapped & her roommate almost being beaten to death. She doesn't know what else to do.
But she comes up with a plan & the Flint brothers are determined to keep her safe. Austin cannot stand the fact that she is putting herself in danger. but it's the only she will not have to run for the rest of her life.
Will they survive the Russian Mafia. Will Austin survive if something happens to the love of his life. Or can he safe her in time. Then have the woman of his dreams.

יש פה כנראה סיפור אהבה עם קצת אקשן, שאם לא היה מגיע אחרי שניה וחצי, אז כנראה לא הייתי מתעצבנת... אבל הוא הגיע אחרי שניה וחצי אז..🙄

הספר הוא גוף שלישי, כבר התחלה לא משהו (מבחינתי) אבל אני זורמת... יש לנו פה בחור (עשיר חתיך וכל השיט) שהיה צריך "איש" מחשבים, ובגלל שהאיש הרגיל שלו עסוק הוא קרא 'לה'.. איזה כיף לו 🙄

No, this book didn’t offer a new concept in terms of plot neither could I argue that the twists or turns left me breathless. Why did I like it anyway?
 
Well, generally speaking the book was well written,  it  kept me riveted and entertained me quite well.
 
More specifically, I liked the main characters. Austin was very loveable because he wasn’t  either your typical alpha male nor the classical antihero. He was portrayed as being just a man who knows exactly what he wants in life and how to get there without hurting or disrespecting anybody. Nina was the perfect female counterpart. I loved her integer personality and how she contradicted him with logical arguments. I appreciated her humor and how she dealt with the difficult situation she found herself in. Taking into consideration that this book is fictional, consequently “all is possible”, I liked that the lead characters were realistic enough.
 
Austin’s family offered a nice set of sub characters. They were perfectly introduces, just to the point where you thought that you might want to find out more about them. Nice!
 
I was a bit disappointed towards the end of the book, where I might’ve wanted a more rounded off HEA for my heroes. To be honest, the ending was unfortunately a bit abrupt – as if there weren’t enough pages available to smooth out Austin’s and Nina’s HEA. They deserved it!
 
In any case, a nice and carefree read.

Despite the few horribly mixed metaphors and the fairly prevalent cliché, this was a fun book to read. The main characters were endearing and though they made some foolish decisions, as is typical in romance novels, they came quickly to their senses and took corrective action before much drama ensued, and the wounded partner in each of these cases was understanding and forgiving. Just enough hesitancy without feeling prudish, and just enough spice without feeling smutty. The supporting cast was great, and actually made me consider more books in the series despite the literary deficiencies found herein.

The computer tech/hacking, security protocols, and the action sequences were all thinly represented suggestions; they were present as devices used in the story, but not to the extent that it felt like any of the characters had real expertise, though they all talked a good game. It felt instead like the author was just using it to make the characters seem badass and giving them something cool to do, maybe without the author knowing much about the field?

R for explicit sexual content, language, and violence. Themes include kidnapping, attempted murder, drug running, human sex trafficking, Russian mafia/Bratva, domestic violence, and suicide.

This was my first Lori Sjoberg, and while I only gave it 3 stars, the overall story is interesting.

We follow Austin, who is a former marine and now works his own security company with his brothers. Nina is his employee and both quickly start to have feelings for each other. When Nina's brother joins the scene, she is confronted with a secret she had tried to hide from everyone she knows for a while. That she is part of a Mafia family. And while Nina wants nothing to do with her family, her brother has a different idea for her involvement in the family business.

I really enjoyed the beginning of the novel with the tension and stakes rising but started to lose interest when the love story between Austin and Nina evolved too quickly for my liking and without any gradual move in that direction.

I also found the tactics and actions of the brothers as security experts a little unbelievable as they tried to keep Nina safe.

Lastly I would have liked the novel to express more showing instead of telling. That would have given the writing and characters more depths.

However, overall the story was entertaining and fastpaced.

Marine Veteran Austin Flint works as head of Six Points Tactical & Security. Nina is his smart mouth cyber security expert. Austin is professional and focused. He won't focus on how good she looks, or pay attention to her love of Thai food or her sexy intelligence because she works for him. He will do his work, she will do hers and that will be that... until she calls him for help outside of work hours. Can Austin keep Nina safe from those after her while maintaining his strict professional demeanour or will Nina's secrets and their attraction for each other get the better of them?
I really enjoyed this romantic suspense. I love that Nina is a strong woman with skills and doesnt turn into a damsel in distress. Austin and Nina's dynamic was great to read and the other characters all gave enough to intrigue me into wanting to read the rest of the series. The plot flowed nicely, I would have liked a little more action/suspense but liked the writing style and can't wait to see what comes next.
