Mount Macon #3

Saving the Single Dad

Rate this book
Being a nanny for three girls who belong to a grumpy boxing legend was not on my list of plans when I followed my brother to Macon, Oregon.

I went from ruling the boardroom to baking cupcakes in the blink of an eye.

And aside from a few mishaps and seemingly always upsetting their dad, it oddly fits me better than anything else I’ve ever done.

Until Liam put everything into question.

Bossy, broody, and rude, he’s twelve years older than me, and a force–An annoyingly overprotective wall of muscle and ink.

But behind that perpetual scowl on his face was something deeper…worry and fear that no one saw him carry.

I wanted to help him.

But Liam Croft doesn’t want my help…

He just wants me.

I gave in to his touch, surrendered to our desire, and handed him my heart.

It was reckless and maybe even a little stupid…Because I want to rescue Liam Croft…

Even if saving him means losing him.

This man needs therapy to understand how to control is anger.

Reasons why I didn't like this book: (there are spoilers)
- Liam was mean, just mean without any reasons because he doesn't know anything about the FMC. He acts based on his wrong assumptions
- he is very spiteful and jelous. He acts like an alpha man for no reason and he goes through her phone without her permission
- he doesn't grovel. Like there is zero grovelling
- if the age gap was so big of an issue, why is he running after her?
- the fact that he leaves for 10 weeks and he doesn't take his children with him
- the last fight and how he talks to her about her ex wife? Nope, not for me. Grow up and acting like a child

3 Hayley and Liam Stars

Age gap (older Hero) / Single Dad Romance.

This story gets off to a very emotionally punchy start and I was hooked at first. My heartstrings were most assuredly tugged. Liam (32) is a divorced father of three little girls - Maddy (10) , Seraphina (7) and Mila (5). He was once a famous and successful fighter but his ex wife has drained most of his money and he is struggling to get backing for his small gym business. Liam's children were brilliantly written and brought a lot of depth , emotion and humour to the book. Haley (20/21) cuts a very lonely figure as the heroine in this novel. She is trying to fit somewhere now in her adult life , when she has never belonged anywhere. The three children adore her and I loved their dynamic. Liam is the best friend of Colson , Hayley's brother and previously Cole and Hayley have had a terrible relationship with Colson being awful to her. I read this book out of order and although it was fine as a standalone, I wonder if it would have been better to read the earlier books first so that I could explore the relationships between the secondary characters a little more. In this book Colson is very much a supporter of Hayley but it still didn't feel like a solid sibling relationship to me. Both of them are very rich but Hayley is incredibly smart and has built a business empire pretty much. I just found it difficult to go along with her being so mature , so accomplished , a perfect mother figure , an all round super accomplished person at such a young age. It felt rushed.

Liam irritated me. He is so judgemental of Hayley and it annoyed me that he was so dismissive of her. Despite that he began to grow on me until he really messed things up . There is a fairly late point of conflict and Liam is incandescent with rage at Hayley. He says some unforgivable things (in my opinion) and there is a very brief separation. I wanted more grovelling from him at this point.

The make up is nice and the ending is sweet.

HEA? Yes but I would have liked to see further into the future.
Cheating? No

Book: Saving the Single Dad by Ashley Munoz
Format Read: E-Book
Release Date: April 27, 2023
Tropes: Age Gap, Brother's Best Friend, Single Dad
Tea Pairing: Lilac Flower Tea
Theme Song: Right Where You Want Me by Jesse McCartney

Ashley is a master at taking my heart, holding it in her hands, and then squeezing it, stomping on it, kicking it, but then picking it back up and putting it back into my chest whole again.

With that visual over LOL: Saving the Single Dad is the third book in the Mount Macon series. If you've read the first two, this book follows Liam Croft (Colson Hanes' BFF) and Haley Hanes (Colson's half sister). We have a single dad trope, an age gap, an estranged brother's best friend romance. Really, say less. I was sold just knowing this book was about Haley.

You want a powerful, take charge FMC who, despite having a terrible childhood, has the warmest heart and so much love to give? That is Haley. While Liam annoyed the HELL out of me, he would do anything for his baby girls and as a parent myself, I found myself relating to him in a lot of ways. This book is packed with heat (which is normal for AM), but also has lots of heart and feels. It definitely shouldn't be slept on!

Thank you to Ashley for providing an ARC. This review and my thoughts are mine alone. ♡

3.5⭐️ mixed emotions on this one!

This was a cute small town, brothers best friend, single dad romance.

Haley moves to town to work on her relationship with her brother when she meets his best friend Liam and his three cute af daughters. Liam’s ex wife is gone, his business his failing & he can’t keep his head above water…enter Haley.

Haley steps in to help out with the kids in exchange for self defence classes with Liam…and it’s not long for their chemistry to be hard to deny. The more Haley feels for Liam.. she realizes she also loves his girls. And doesn’t want to lose them if things don’t work with Liam.

Honestly the relationship with Haley and the girls were so cute😭😭😭 she loved them so much and wanted to do as much as she could to help them feel loved and cared for.

The spice was so OUT OF LEFT FIELD, but I am NOT mad about it. Gosh the mouth on Liam.

As I mentioned I did have mixed feelings so here are my jumbled thoughts below;

Pros:

-Haley….& how she stepped in for the kids
-the kids and how dang cute they were
-surprisingly spicy…..oooof
-the man has a dirty mouth on him!!
-there was definitely a lovely found family vibe going on

Cons:
- Liam was quick to anger and jealousy…but not in the hot way..iykyk
-the characters were a bit flawed which…character don’t need to be perfect for me to like the book…but the way these characters would ping pong back and forth was so infuriating
-the way he just leaves when the going gets tough…..and doesn’t bring his kids….

DNF ah 67% I really don't like Liam. Skipping over the fact that he leaves Haley with his 3 girls for 10 weeks mainly because she wants to slow things down and he's not happy with that. He tells her he's leaving THAT NIGHT. Besides that..he misses her 21st birthday and only sends her a text that says "happy birthday". That really ticked me off. Book boyfriends by default are required by law do better than that. 😡
I feel like they both had huge emotional trauma that could have bonded them but they never talked about ANYTHING. Their whole relationship is her loving his girls, him being a jerk quite often and lots of sex in lew of having a conversation about the things going wrong. There was literally nothing to build a relationship on probably because he LEFT FOR 10 WEEKS. Heck he didn't even know her favorite color till like the day before she moved in.

ever since i finished the second book in the mount macon series i needed the third and final book like i needed my next breath. one of my most anticipated reads of this year and holy hell did it hit. this book captured my heart and didn’t let go.

the prologue right hooked me and i was done. i knew just from that that this book was going to knock me out.

i loved haley. no question about it she was so kindhearted with a heart so pure. i hurt for her at what she endured and no one should ever feel the way she did or be treated so unjust how she had. what she went through didn’t define her though and it especially didn’t harden her, it only made her light shine brighter. haley is so selfless and caring and so protective. she loves hard and has so much love to give and to be on the receiving end of that love is a blessing.

liam lives for his daughters. his sole priority is making a good life and providing for his girls and being the best dad he can. he’s doing his best to keep his gym afloat but it’s become difficult. that’s where haley comes in, she becomes the girls’ nanny and helps liam with what she can. what liam wasn’t prepared for was the impact she’d have on his and his daughters’ lives and all the love they were in-need of that only she could bring.

haley and liam brought the banter tenfold. i loved their dynamic and just how perfectly they clicked. they had undeniable chemistry and brought the intense scorching heat. their lives were better having each other and leaning on one another. haley and liam were both the missing piece each didn’t know they were searching for but found in one another. i loved them so much as well as maddy, seraphina, and mila; they undoubtedly made the best wholesome family.

saving the single dad was an emotionally charged single dad/nanny romance packed with heartwarming and tenderhearted moments. i loved every book in this series but i think ashley saved the best for last. this book was just so special and amazing and just exceptional. i’ve come to love all of the characters from every book and i’m so sad this series is over, but i’m so incredibly happy to have known them and each will always hold a very special place in my heart.

*i voluntarily read and reviewed an arc of this book*

Loved Haley and the girls! They made this book better! With a better love interest/mmc (and slightly aged up fmc; 20 is just too young for all this responsibility in my opinion) I likely would have given it at least 4/5 stars

Hated Liam!

1) constantly dismissed Haley (age, judgments, career)

2) treated her as a chef, maid, nanny, and bankroller for him and his 3 kids

3) left her with his kids for 9 weeks

4) seemed to want a nanny with benefits instead of a relationship

5) constantly spoke about how much his kids mattered but seemed to put the gym, himself, and his sexual needs above them at every turn (he made it clear he went on dates with most of his former babysitters, Haley was not the 1st). (Why are you not brushing your children’s hair?!)

6) the fight and the things he said to Haley!! (Especially about his ex-wife)

7) his pride/toxic masculinity (you constantly bring up age and Haley being 20 but you are a 32 year old acting like a middle schooler, grow up)

8) All of this plus Haley is TWENTY. 20! Caring for a 10 year old, 7 year old, and 5 year old (practically alone)

I can think of a million more examples but will stop here

Challenge! Who do think is the mature one and that doesn’t have anger issues of a toddler in this book! The 20 year old female lead? Or the 32 year old single dad?

If you guess the dad, you guess wrong!! That man was childish, mean, judgemental and weirdly possessive!

I thought the other books were bad but this one took the price.

I thought we all agreed to leave the reddit vibes mean miserable men OUTSIDE of romance books! Like i wouldn’t even wish my worst enemy to date a man like this.

I wont be reading more books from this author as she enjoys plot wholes, rushed romances build on mean men that only have lust inside their heads and no regards for anyone else (not even his kids tbh) that are all HEA. Like yeah the lack of grovelling or terrible grovelling is the worst but its even worst that these male lead cross the line to be eligible for grovelling very early on in the books. Also the fl’s are very weak and just the mls emotional punching bags.

A story full of heart, heartbreak, and finding the love that a pure honest heart deserves. Haley is this incredible person inside and out. She has taken a life that might have been privileged yet plagued with emotional torment and made something of herself. Haley works hard to get what she wants, never relying on anyone to pave her way. Even though she is a bad @$$ when it comes to work, she still seeks the approval and love of her family, but it’s not been an easy road. When circumstances bring her Macon, she tries to find her footing and while things are looking up when it comes to her brother, she is still working out the kinks in small town life.
Liam is the opposite of Haley’s sunshine and rainbows; he is the thundercloud who likes to be a realist. He is an incredible father to his three girls and although he may struggle with some aspects that it brings but they are his everything. Life hasn’t always been easy for him and his girls with everything that they endured at the hands of someone that they loved and trusted shattered my heart, so I understood his hesitancy to trust others.
The attraction between Haley and Liam is intense and the more they try to fight it the harder that becomes, but when Haley becomes part of their life she really commits and puts them first. The push and pull that they have and go through keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering if Haley can bring Liam out of his dark cloud, but sometimes a person must find their own way. Haley and Liam together were beautiful, but they had a lot of ups and downs to navigate. I loved that Haley put the girls first before herself because she has the kindest soul. What Liam and Haley don’t see is that they both crave and deserve the love that they have missed out on, but is it enough to keep them together?
LOVED this emotional story with all the fantastic characters we’ve met and fallen in love with. The author brought so much real-life pain, heartbreak, and love in this one that it’s my favorite of the series. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next.

::sigh:: Yall...I LOVED this book! This book gave me every emotion in my wheelhouse and I was obsessed for every single one of them. THIS is how a single dad romance should be written. Those girls just stole my heart and they deserved all the happiness that Haley brought into their lives.

"𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝓅𝒶𝒾𝓃, 𝓌𝒶𝓈𝒽 𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉 𝒸𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓃, 𝓈𝓉𝒾𝓉𝒸𝒽 𝒾𝓉 𝓊𝓅, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝑔𝒾𝓋𝑒 𝒽𝒾𝓂 𝓈𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝑜 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝒽𝒶𝓃𝑔𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓃 𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒸𝒽𝑒𝓈𝓉."

Hayley and Liam are both so very broken and my heart for both of them. Haley spent the majority of her life being her parents dirty little secret, only to be treated like complete trash once the secret was out. She so desperately wanted to be loved. And Liam....Liam loved the wrong person and ended up raising three gorgeous girls alone. It was kismet. they were meant to meet...meant to be together...but because of their past....it was a long and bumpy road.

"𝐻𝒾𝓈 𝑔𝓇𝒶𝓎 𝑒𝓎𝑒𝓈 𝓈𝑒𝒶𝓇𝒸𝒽𝑒𝒹 𝓂𝓎 𝒻𝒶𝒸𝑒, 𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒻𝒾𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝓊𝑔𝑔𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑜𝓃 𝓂𝓎 𝒿𝑒𝒶𝓃𝓈 𝓈𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓂𝓎 𝓌𝒶𝒾𝓈𝓉 𝓌𝒶𝓈 𝓉𝓇𝒶𝓅𝓅𝑒𝒹 𝒶𝑔𝒶𝒾𝓃𝓈𝓉 𝒽𝒾𝓂."

As always, Ashley writes some of the hottest spice. I loooooved the two of them together, the build up, the tension, the explosion. This book was PERFECTION. Everyone needs to read it!

Ashley, I can tell you put so much of your heart into this book and I appreciated every tear that I cried!

Saving the single dad is much favorite of the mount Macon Series, and that's saying a lot given how wonderful these books have been! Liam is a single dad to three loveable little girls. He's an ex boxer who runs the gym in Mount Macon but is struggling to keep it afloat. His ex-wife is a drug addict who put herself and her high before her kids, deeply wounding the whole family. Then, the sweet selfless Haley comes to town for her estranged brother and Liam's best friend, Colson. Despite her rich upbringing, Haley has her own trauma and is looking for her next step in life, so she agrees to be the nanny for these sweet girls when Liam is desperate for help . Though they have a 12 year age gap, the sparks fly between these two, though Haley wants to build a strong foundation for the girls and put their needs first. That distance could give their relationship hurdles, and there's plenty of others waiting for these two to fail.

Liam could be moody and judgemental at times, but his love for his daughters was what every woman dreams the father of their children could be. There's never a second of doubt those girls aren't his whole world even if he makes some difficult choices for their future. Haley was probably my favorite heroine because I could identify with her struggles of feeling unworthy and finding the strength to forgive and just keep going at times. Seeing her come into her own with confidence and the love of a mother was so beautiful. She was never afraid to put them first and prioritize their needs over anything else. I loved the angst throughout the book, whether it was people judging Haley or the struggles to hold onto their fragile relationship. It was so well done and still balanced with plenty of steam and loving moments that showed the creation of a new family. I'm devastated this is the end of the series because it's been a complete joy to read! I loved every second reading this book and hope it brings others just as much happiness!

Oh so smutty and filthy yet sweet and adorable at the same.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this author. It is a great read filled with emotion, rip your heart out moments.

My heart bled for thirteen year old Haley and that she became the person she is, it is a miracle but she is loving, caring and a strong person.

I adore a single dad romance but I am n the fence with Liam Croft. My heart also bled for him but he was such a git to Haley.

Maddy, Seraph and Mila are adorable.

Back to Mount Macon we go!

Saving the Single Dad is the last book in Ashley’s Mount Macon series and this one was a highly anticipated read for me after the introduction of Haley and Liam in the previous book.

Ugh I love Ashley’s writing and Saving the Single Dad was no different. Also, her people covers for this series are PERFECTION. 🥰🥰

Haley has had a terrible childhood. She grew up in a household where she was the ‘dirty little secret’ even though she had a decent relationship with her father, he taught her everything and is now a career driven confident young woman with the biggest heart but no one to give her love to even her estranged older brother Colson whom we
known from previous books.

Liam is Colson’s best friend and your typical alpha male, jealous and a little possessive but is the most devoted dad to his 3 young daughters. Being overwhelmed with his business that seems to be failing financially and then also needing help with his daughters AS WELL as trying not to act on the chemistry that he fells between himself and Haley, his plate is full. Add to that his ex’s drama and so much more, this story is jam packed with feels from both MC’s but also myself.

I had FEELS about Liam and how he dealt with some things but I loved every bit of it.

Everyone in this book needed a good therapist.

There was too much backstory missing for both characters.

Also there was this weird emphasis on Haley building her relationship with the kids but the relationship between her and Liam was hardly developed at all.

Who the fuck leaves their kids with a woman they hadn’t known that long then proceeds to get upset that the woman and kids managed to make do and find a routine.

OH MY HEART!!! Haley, Liam, AND Maddy, Mila, and Seraph (because their family wouldn't be complete without those precious children) completely melted my heart, made me cry so many times, and made me feel a part of something so precious...it was like being part of their family.

The story begins with a brief look at Haley as a young teen and the lonely childhood she had (broke my heart). Fast forward to the present and she turned that loneliness into a kind heart with a sharp mind who is the absolute best person to step into Liam's life to look after his children. The moment when Haley talks to Maddy about how not everyone is cut out to be a mom...yeah, I needed serious tissues 😭 Sometimes having a garbage mom means you are the best fit because you can relate and you ultimately know what not to do.

So many feels. 😭🥰

Haley may have her doubts, but she never voices them, but instead tackles hardship head on and loves with her whole heart. Those girls become her entire world and it's only seconday that she falls for their father.

Be still my heart. It stole Liam's too. Someone who loved his girls as much as he did. Someone who put his girls first. He didn't stand a chance against Haley.

Liam Croft owns a gym, a logical choice after his boxing days, but it was about go under if he doesn't get some financial help. While he took up Haley's offer to watch his children, he was too prideful to take anything else.

You see, Haley may be young, but she’s a shrewd business woman and is the one who helped her brother out when his business needed it, but Liam refuses to go down that path with her. As he sees it, Haley can nanny his kids, rearrange his home, but his business is just that, his business. How can he be the man in her life if she’s supporting everything in it?

Could Liam's pride be the end to their new family? Cue the tears...

Both Liam's and Haley's stories have been building since Liam is best friends with Colson and Haley is Colson's sister. Colson and Nora just had their HEA where Haley actually begins watching Maddy, Mila, and Seraph, but this book also reads as a standalone quite nicely, even though both couples make appearances in this story too.

Saving the Single Dad is emotional, super steamy, and absolute-heart-melting perfection!!

💜Age gap
🥊Brother’s best friend
💜Small Town Romance
🥊Single dad

Hayley begins babysitting Liam’s three children. The more time she spends with them, the harder Liam falls as Hayley naturally fits into their world 💜Although their relationship develops quickly, insta-lust turns into deep feelings as they work to build a solid foundation and cope with their personal trauma.

The tension between these two was sooo good 🤌🔥🥵 Ashley knows how to write some spice!

Hayley is such a powerful FMC who, despite her young age, is level-headed and selfless. She’s switched-on and considerate, pausing her relationship with Liam so they can build a solid foundation before Liam’s girls can find out.

“I was always shuffled out of the way, or moved around like a chess piece; always a pawn, but never a queen.”

Liam is a single dad to three little girls and an ex-pro boxer who now runs a boxing gym. I have to admit that he isn’t my favourite Mount Macon man (Davis is pretty hard to beat). At times I found him frustrating - he’s so stubborn and prideful that it makes him quick to judge and jump to conclusions. However, I loved the growth he went on as he learned to trust Hayley and cope with his previous trauma. The children were so adorable, Maddy pulled at my hear-strings throughout.

Once again Ashley has made me laugh and cry. I’m not ready to leave Mount Macon yet, I beg of you!

Genre: Small Town
Spice: 🥵yes
Series: Mount Macon, book 3

Thoughts - so, prepare yourself because man does this pull on your heart strings. We get a good representation of how bad Haley has had it basically her whole life in book 2 but, wow that prologue had me welling up! This single dad just hits different because i feel the main story is about Haley and the girls forming this amazing relationship and then her romantic relationship with Liam falls second. Special mention to how freakin much everyone else grows in the story to see Haley as more than a little girl. Also we love to hate Liam and his damn pride getting in the way! Definitely recommend read. You will not be disappointed in reading the whole series!

Plot - Haley is starting over and will hopefully gain a relationship with her brother after their rocky past. What she doesn’t expect is her grumpy brothers best friend Liam getting in the way. Not only does he appear to not like her, he desperately needs her help to nanny his three daughter so he can focus on his business. What ensues is a story of love, acceptance , growth and the most beautiful found family.

There isn't enough stars to leave this book!!! It packed ALL the feels!! I laughed, I shipped the couple, and I cried. Liam is a single dad to 3 girls, who are all still recovering from what his ex (their mom) did. After a life of loneliness, Haley has finally established a relationship with her brother (Colson, from book 2), and moves to be near him. Both have experienced heartbreak, betrayal, and disappointment. They're both jaded and don't really know how or want to trust. They've always only had themselves to rely on. Liam has his best friend, but Haley has always had no one. The instant attraction was smoking! They immediately notice one another. I loved the initial bickering between them. Liam already has his mind made up about who Haley is, but she proves him wrong again and again. She's a firecracker and totally unafraid of the tough boxer everyone steers clear of. Even after all the heartbreak, Haley still has the biggest heart! Especially for Liam's girls. She immediately cares for them and is protective of them like they are her own. And those girls cling to her, wanting the mother they've never really had.
Like I said, I loved it! It had angst, longing, heartbreak, tears, so much steam, all the feels and an amazing HEA!!

Wow! So yeah this book had me all in my feels! Y'all know I am a sucker for age gap and brother's best friend..... I got both in 1 freaking book!!! And it was a single dad/nanny book! YES PLEASE!!! In this book, Haley was ALL about making sure she had a solid foundation with the girls before she moved on to a relationship with Liam.... she even put on the breaks with him to make a serious point! Haley was wise beyond her years and she was 100% the perfect match for Liam! Y'all need this book in your life this instant! Liam could have been a bit swoonier, but the angst was good! It made my cry a bot but didn't totally rip my heart out!

Saving the Single dad is the third book in the Mount Macon series and follows Liam and Haley in a brothers best friend/age gap romance 😍 (Liam is Colson’s best friend and Hayley is Colson’s half sister).

Ya’ll, Hayley is a boss ass b! Did I almost cry reading the prologue and reading about Hayley’s awful childhood? Yes I did but man did she ever grow up and make a name for herself. I felt like a proud auntie 🥹

Also, yes I did want to slap Liam upside the head with a wooden spoon on a few occasions but GUH, when the sweet moments happened, man were they ever sweet 😭 him and those adorable daughters of his own my heart.

Thank you so much to Ashley for a copy of this ARC 🤍

Wow. That was beautiful. 🥺 I loved Liam, but I loved Haley more. Her story, her strength, her perseverance, her intelligence, and everything was just so admirable. I mean, they were both great (Liam, man, 😮‍💨), but she was incredible. 🥹

The three girls were so, so cute! I think I have soft spot for stories with little kids in them, and A+ if they actually make them sound like kids and not like adults writing kids. 🤭 Maddy, Seraphina, and Mila were just adorbs! Ugh! 🤗

I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I laughed some more. This whole series from Rae/Davis to Nora/Colson, and now Haley/Liam was all incredible. They’ll stay in my heart for awhile. 😭🩷

Saving the Single Dad is book #3 in the Mount Macon series from Ashley Muñoz and it was an absolute roller-coaster.

Liam is struggling to say the least to keep his gym afloat and to be the best dad he can to his three beautiful little girls. Often relying on others to help watch them.

Haley offers to help him watch the girls, but Liam is a little judgemental and assumes the worst of her because she is rich.
Haley has a back bone, though, and stands up for herself, surprising him, and Liam takes her up on the offer.

The mutual attraction between them is a scorcher, and pretty soon, things become more than physical.

Liam and his girls are falling for Haley and her for them.

Those girls....loves!!!❤️

The exes and background noise didn't seem to matter to the connection the share.

This book is definitely up there in my faves by Ashley. Liam was sweet and wonderful but knew exactly when to turn up the heat for sure. Haley was no wilting flower either. Her age and the age gap kept getting mentioned, but she was and knew what she wanted. I say go for it. If ya know, ya know!

Loved this book. Fantastic read!

Liam Croft is a boxing legend, a bit of a grump, paranoid of his 3 little girls because of his Ex wife who has a problem with hard drugs. He hoped she would get it together for their kids, but he must protect them. He’s funding is going to a new gym he wants to have investors. Haley is the little sister of Cal and Liam’s best friend. She’s not getting the best reception there because she is young, looking all prim and proper. But after she first baby sat the girls they want her as their babysitter. Cal is having trouble because he is waiting for his girlfriend to come back. But he can’t really watch them. So Haley offers, but the first day she offers them a spa date, to help brush their hair. That it seems Liam doesn’t know how to take care of them girls. Well being girlie. But Liam and Haley are fighting their attraction towards one another. She asked for self defense classes in exchange of watching his girls. But on their 2nd day, they meet a blast from the past and they don’t know how to be around young girls. Which they scare them. Can this work out? To much bad memories of the past limit Liam trust. Can Haley break through? Gosh I hope so.
