I heard about this book on a podcast I listen to and ordered the book immediately. Yes, this is a “religious” themed book, but Donna states that from the beginning. The book begins with what it means to be a follower of Jesus, the Mentor who walks on water. Her theology is sound and I imagine someone hearing this for the first time would be excited to learn more. The majority of the book has excellent topics on how to live a life of purpose and fulfillment. I loved the work pages at the end of each chapter. I am hoping to read this book again with a group of fellow believers and non-believers in the same industry. Thank you Donna, loved your book!

There were some good nuggets in here. I wasn’t completely blown away, but I did appreciate the read.

We read this as a team Bookclub book. It had some good points. It is spiritual based so be ready for that to be the biggest theme throughout. Some of her stories seemed to just drop off and left me wanting more info. It felt a bit preachy at times and not all inclusive and loving as I feel Jesus was/is. It did make me think and reflect on how I go about my life in this world and that was a good point of the book.
