A bloody good read! But to be clear, this story is filled with murder and mayhem and far from light reading -- not for the faint-hearted or weak stomachs. The Ravenwood Series has been a convoluted and viciously clever ride from start to finish (4 books). J.K. Ellem never fails to write page-turning adult thrillers that are fiendishly inventive. From his very first release, I've been a fan.
The women of Mill Point Road have kept me on the edge of my seat. I've liked some better than others. And there's plenty of infidelity and other hijinx activities to keep the interest level high.
If you're a fan of crime/thrillers, I recommend this series. Each book has been thrill ride and every character plays a part in the massive puzzle of deceit. It's best not to turn your back on anyone! And just when you think you might have solved the case, think again!
An Unkindness of Sinners by JK Ellem is Book 4 in the Ravenwood Series. I loved reading about the ladies of Mill Point Road back at it again trying to solve a new murder. Mr. Ellem never disappoints when telling a story….however this one got off to a slow start, but once it picked up I was hooked!! Great ending to an amazing and riveting series!
Off to a slow start. Had to search my memory for the theme of previous book. But once things started to open up I was hooked. Seems like the ladies of Raven wood solved one unbelievable case but I also get the feeling things aren't quite through.
This is the fourth and final book in the Ravenwood series ( I for one will miss the ladies of Mill Point Road).
They all have there secrets even from each other but nothing can break the bond of the ladies of the Sisterhood. Paige, Maggie, Annebel, Becca and Haley.
Someone is out to kill them all and he has always evaded capture.
He is the master and he is the puppeteer, he has controlled and manipulated people around him the kill. But which one will fall first?
This is one of the best twisted psychological thrillers of the year!
The final in the series of J K Ellem's, Mill Point Road. The Sisterhood are closer friends now than ever. They all really want to find out the real serial killer. Detective Haley Perez, finds herself not worrying at all about her job or the police department after they stopped her duties, but she's not giving up catching the serial killer. - It's a great page tuner - maybe a little far fetched- but in today's world, why worry, i didn't. And when the serial killer enters the story, they didn't realise how evil this killer is, and didn't see it coming. I worked out the real serial killer... maybe the authors fault.. it certainly didn't spoil the story, as there's so much to come after the serial killer enters the story. I loved the name and meaning of this book. A highly recommend read.

An Unkindness of Sinners is the fourth, and final installment the Ravenwood Series from Amazon
I feel really bad about giving books 2-4 two stars consecutively, but I just didn’t like the way they were written.
The plot was great, the characters grew on me. I do wish the point of view would have stayed with one or two of the characters instead of jumping around between everyone.
My main issue with the way these books were written is the over explaining. The length could probably be cut in half if the author would trust that we remembered the details from a few chapters ago, or even from the first book, instead of retelling them every time they became important again.
It’s like desperate housewives with a serial killer and thrown into the mix! I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It was entertaining and kept me guessing - even when I figured things out there were still surprises! I give the whole series 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Start with Mill Point Road to read the entire series!
Truly enjoyed the series more than I thought I would. Just when I thought I had it figured out, there was another plot twist to wade through. A Well written saga with very realistic characters.
I enjoyed this last book more than the previous ones. It was nice to have the surprise of the big bag and how it was all tidied up. The characters were fun and I found myself wondering where some of them will end up.
I did not expect almost the entire book to be the culmination of the entire series but it went so fast and brought so many details together beautifully! Absolutely loved this series and hoping maybe Mr. Ellem will have a fifth installment of these ladies.
Killer's everywhere. The ending was so twisted that you don't see it coming. The puppet master was a complete shock. I simply couldn't put this final installment down.
Final book of the series. A bit predictable and the writing still meh. Ended on a bit of a cliffhanger for being the final book in the series. Overall, the series was ok. Not amazing but not terrible.
This was the quickest easiest read out of the series. Everything finally comes to a conclusion and we get the answers as to the mastermind behind everything. We also find out what happens to all the women and learn some of their additional secrets. The ending scene with the killer is pretty over the top unrealistic but I guess it had to be in order to set up another plot twist. Overall the series was pretty good but not something I would re-read.
