Hermawan Kartajaya is an Indonesian author and public speaker in the area of marketing studies. In 2000, Kartajaya co-authored "Repositioning Asia: From Bubble to Sustainable Economy" with Philip Kotler. In it they analysed why the Asian crisis of 1997 occurred, and outlined what the governments and companies of the region could do to develop more sustainably in the future. Kartajaya’s expert analysis, in-depth knowledge, and strategic thinking, won him acclaim from many of his peers. Al Ries said of him “The positioning of Hermawan Kartajaya in marketing is unique. He is a combined ‘product’ of Western mind, Asia heart and Indonesian soul. Every company must get his advice.” 2002 saw him team up with Kotler again in their book "Rethinking Marketing: Sustainable Marketing Enterprise".

Saya membaca buku ini lalu bepergian ke Ubud, selama 3 hari 2 malam menikmati Ubud.

Ubud adalah sebuah tempat yang luar biasa, harmoni indah yang diciptakan oleh manusia kepada Tuhannya dan alam tempat tinggalnya.

Pemahaman baru yang saya dapatkan adalah bagaimana masyakat Ubud menjalankan bisnis mereka secara berkelanjutan dengan mengedepankan budaya setempat. Buku ini memaparkan istilah sustainable enterprises yang di gadang-gadang pengusaha dunia telah diterapkan oleh Ubud sejak sedia kala.

Luar biasa, saya masih akan berkunjung ke Ubud, sebagai salah satu tempat favorit saya😻

Buku ini gw baca ketika gw tinggal lama di Bali. Selesai baca ini, gw langsung pergi ke Ubud dan stay disana. Gw ketemu dengan beberapa orang yg ada di dalem buku itu, bahkan yang punya museum Neka, Pak Neka, beliau kasih gw buku lho.

Buku ini ngejelasin banget gimana keadaan Ubud sebagai tempat yang sangat damai, berisi raja-rajanya yang wise dan seniman-seniman yang jadi pengen banget lo temuin. Because of this book, i went to the sacred place, where i can find peace. :)
